This shit sounds really good.

Nice to see this thread again, OP.

>Disney releasing three of these live-action remakes in one year

That'll kill this golden egg laying goose for them. Besides these three, which might end up pulling each other's numbers down, I can only really see Avengers and Star Wars making serious money. Another bad year that'll continue to slowly bleed Hollywood dry.

if artemis and holly don't have the weird sexual chemistry they had in the books then it will all be for nought

>23 years
Isn't it 27?

The fast and furious movie everyone was crying about is a Shane Black flick? Cool.

WHEN THE FUCK IS MASTERS OF THE AIR GONNA BE RELEASED TOM HANKS?!?!?

I've been waiting for like 7 years omg, fuck you Steven & Tom.

Wow G*d forbid they would use sexy women they need to be unconventionally sexy and probably dykes. Men have done too much damage to women, trees and nature to ever have fun at the movies again, just for Trump we ladies need to ruin Charlies Angels (*hand smack*)

There's no point to these topics when this board discusses nothing but capeshit and mainstream sci fi and fantasy

Another one? Just fuck off already.

>Eli is a young boy undergoing treatment for a rare disease at a secluded clinic, which soon becomes a haunted prison from which there's no escape.
It's like a computer pooped out the most generic spook movie synopsis possible.

*inhales*

>Another bad year that'll continue to slowly bleed Hollywood dry.

>Gore Verbinsky
insta-kino. Will this be part of the fox universe?

I'm reading through this topic. Cinema is really fucked, isn't it?

Wait a minute... that poster!

Seems to be Sony.

Majority of these sound like ass, and if they are original, they still sound like ass.
When will Hollywood finally implode?

I for one welcome our new chinese movie making overlords

>When will Hollywood finally implode?
Once capeshit/ nostalgia money dries up.

its really hush hush. I believe there was a spotting of the writers near a historic airfield in england a few months ago

Its happening and the budget is like half a billion dollars

hurr you skipped 2018 OP

What bothers me is that JJ is probably one of the few directors that could get a studio to finance a new sci-fi/fantasy action adventure/ space opera type franchise for normies, but he's just so creatively bankrupt that he just latches onto these existing franchises that he doesn't even seem to be that big of a fan of, and makes these boring movies that just rely solely on the fact that there are previous entries in the franchise that are legitimately good, and that you want to see them again devoid of context and gravity with bad CGI.
