Stars tend to twinkle incessantly Besides, look at the art here. Not the worst I've seen but not really great. What's more likely, the artist was trying to depict a growing crack or a twinkling star in a field of stars?

I like how Damian gives that stupid little speech and not once in the entirety of the 5 years did Bruce attack family and friends of the people in the regime, while Superman resorted to having Zsasz murder Alfred in order to get to Bruce.

There's nothing particularly justifiable about executing a detained man before being administered due process, even if it is a fucked up psycho like Joker. Though that really only applies in a world where the prison system isn't a big revolving door I guess.
