I think RNJR will survive, but Ren will be badly wounded to set up a future plot of Ren actually having to deal with his own emotions rather than running his semblance to avoid his feelings.
They'll just barely beat the Nuck on their own, then things go from bad to worse when Raven shows up to heal Qrow, and she recognizes Nora as a stray member of her tribe
Yang while (finally) get geared up in her volume 4 outfit and tell Tai she's off to find Raven
Blake will go looking for Ilia in a White Fang training camp in the desert of Menagerie, only to find Adam, and nearly lose her duel to him before escaping
Weiss will get out of Atlas on the last unrestricted Bullhead going to Mistral

It's absolutely possible, since the character short did leak after all. However, after that incident, RT seem to have started cracking down even more harshly on panel leaks and now sic their autistic fans on anyone with a video camera so we may not get anything

Someone last thread theorized that Ren's Semblance has two parts and saves Nora, which leads to Ruby getting mad that he didn't save Qrow or Yang's arm. It probably won't happen, but I sort of liked the idea since it has potential to bring development to all four members of RNJR.
>Ruby struggles with her uncle's death and feelings of resentment toward Ren (even though she knows in her heart that the fault is more on her shoulders)
