Does anyone know most text in the Archie speech bubbles end in exclamation marks instead of full stops? Is it some sort of company wide style guide thing? Any interesting story behind it? I remember noticing this a long while back, and I always wondered.

I think it had something to do with the fact that full stops often got wiped out accidentally in printing.
