Sure, I consider myself to basically be a 'good guy' and I'd help out in the event of a natural disaster or something like that, but running around town at night looking for crime to stop is rather silly.

Unless I had inhuman durability, healing factor, or some force shield that helped me tank bullets and other projectiles, having a no-kill policy, especially fighting armed criminals, is just foolish. There's a reason why cops are armed and why most firefights end with casualties. In real life, people who uphold a no-kill policy would wind up dead very quickly. You're pretty much fighting handicapped and presuming the person you're fighting is going easy on you and isn't try to kill you.

I honestly can't imagine pursuing a life of super heroics without some shady government or corporation coercing me to do their dirty work.
