Not very halloweeny viewing yesterday
what's the deal with that!

I just made an account not sure how this works. It like like you just make lists about movies you watched or is there discussion too?

Whoops
letterboxd.com/imcia/

Dr. Pavel, I'm CIA

>imcia

ah good, another teen who is a moron, just what this general needed

>1090 films seen this year

Do you ever go outside?

Yes

I have a decent taste in movies.
I just have a hard time coming up with user names so I just picked a stupid meme name.
Unless you got any cleaver pun usernames

>I have a decent taste in movies.
that's where you're wrong bucko

why do all my worst reviews get all the likes

Hope everyone had comfy Halloween fun yesterday.
letterboxd.com/dellamore/

if it bothers you then stop writing bad reviews

Honestly though how do you determine what good taste is.

I dont like or watch any capeshit or anything that is consider cool to be "nerdy" ie marvel, star wars.

Im more into psychological thrillers and drama movies.

Recent movies I watched I liked was
Blade runner 2049
Halloween
The Foreigner
The founder
Stand by me
Edge of seventeen was a bit of a surprise I didnt expect to like it that much
Taxi driver
Silence

Objective taste is determined by what one ignorant edgelord user thinks is the correct taste for all.

>logging short movies
>logging rewatches

How many actual movies do you watch on average each year, anons?

≥500

400, maybe a bit above that.

100-200. At my best I come to watching three movies a week.

64 films.

Neet?

32 films

>D. W. Griffith is my favorite director

16 films

Is there a way to get the most recent reviews on the front page, rather than just "popular with friends" shit? I swear it was like that before I made an account

>yfw you found out your Gravatar is being show to any receipent of your email
Fuck that's embarrassing.

don't put gay weebshit as your avatar then you won't be embarassed

Want too watch everything Van Bebber has ever done

300-350 seems to be my usual
Don't quite hit one per day average

wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way without Roger Corman there is no Godfather or any of the 70s New Waves. Mention that next time someone disses genre films.

>New Hollywood

Corman's legacy and impact on the shape of cinema is undeniably one of the greatest of anybody in it's history, in terms of how they were made and what sort of films were made
The list of actors and filmmakers who got their start in the industry thanks to working with him is also pretty unbelievable

>actively watching anything past the 30's

...

>Corman's legacy and impact on the shape of cinema is undeniably the greatest of anybody in its history

...

You could eliminate everything made by """""New""""" Hollywood and nothing would be missed

I'm literally shaking right now

*BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Go be a fartfag somewhere else.

Oops, I shook so much I lost control of my bowels

My favorite New Hollywood movies:

Quintet
Day of the Dolphin
Ishtar
Peggy Sue Got Married
Mommie Dearest
Howard the Duck
1941
New York, New York
A Night in Heaven
At Long Last Love
The Wiz

Robert Altman is my favorite New Hollywod director by far. Easily the best director of all-time. Very anti-authoritarian, truly a maverick.

Nice taste.
My favorites are Rumble Fish, The Formula, Boxcar Bertha, Streamers, and Equus

pete the fag

>Rumble Fish
Kino. Just saw the Criterion. Love how avant-garde it is, can't believe it got bad reviews, probably best film ever made.

These all look kino! Can't wait to get to the 70's!

Is this good cinematography, /lbg/?

Can't wait to get to the 10's

>colors to bright
>no contrast
>bad tonal mapping
>awkward composition
2/10

Here's a shot from my favorite film of all time by the legendary Roger Deakins

You're right. That is a lot better.

Is this good?

>implying tardboy has a sense of priority

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

It's alright.
I give it a 3/10

This is a much better shot from one of my favorite films. Much better use of natural light and framing

...

You're right. This does look more realist and natural.

What about this?

Yes you do.

...

>that filename
You must be meming. That looks like a cartoon.

This is good.

What about this?

Shallow depth of field, too bright, too much grain

...

What about this?

letterboxd.com/EverythingSucks

need more interesting people to follow

>interesting people
don't follow machill

There's that filename again. It looks like shit. The colors are garish. If you want something that looks like painting, look at this.

...

Please don't tell me you think these are good
Why are you even here?

I would think if he wanted to make a painting, he wouldn't use 1 color. What a fucking retard.

The French were already using more than one color in 1902. What a fucking hack.
>Americans
>art

I wonder how Bruce feels knowing that he saves all my posts and pictures, but I've never saved a single one of his.

youtube.com/watch?v=KYupHzEvsRw

isn't he a horse fucker?

dog fucker

They nailed lion king casting

>cartoons
>niggers
who gives a fuck

...

boohoo you're still a virgin

>Deakins

>1910: Algie, the Miner
>2010: Hesher

Been watching Stranger Things and a few other TV series so haven't logged much lately.

10-15 a month.
