Is DC fascist...

Is DC fascist? I've noticed that DC Comics's books and stories have a lot of supremacist ideals and that they play a lot with fascism.

Am i wrong or is there really something to it?

You are wrong.

Oh definitely. Simon and Schuster were huge supporters of Hitler, and it's been a major theme throughout Superman's whole career

I wish...

Is marvel gay?

Define "fascism"

Because everyone liked Dark Knight Returns back in the day and now have made every attempt to copy it. DKR was basically a right-wing power fantasy.

Anything right of center.

>first time trying to be deep about the most mainstream of capeshit

Yes, we've all read Frank Miller in high school.

Also real-world politics does not mesh well with the drama of a superhero book.

It's a far right political ideology, like libertarianism

you're not wrong it's one of the many reasons they need to go out of business

#boycottDC

Fascism is basically militant traditionalism. DC characters are pretty militant. And DC tends to be a bit more traditionalist in their mindset then Marvel, which is SJW-central. So yeah. Maybe.

>everyone (...)now have made every attempt to copy it
That's only Synder though, and he's failing because it's not the 00s anymore.

>Ike "wife donates to Trump" Perlmutter
>DC/IDW's "Love is love" charity book

nice try

>implying Kike has any time to influence Marvel's stories when people keep trying to put free toilet paper in the bathrooms

It's because of Superman, everyone wants to do their "What if Superman was evil he could take over the whole world" story.

Yes, everyone you disagree with is a fascist. Feel free to punch them in the face.

back to Sup Forums with you

Was it?

Batman ultimately defies Reagan and the USA authority, how can this be viewed as fascist?

its nearly the exact opposite of Libertarian..

Fascism is Authoritarian Nationalism.
Nazi's were socialist. Left wing.

Libertarian is Individualist.

>falling for obvious bait

He was clearly joking

>attacking a girl for expressing her opinions and viewpoints
Isn't that sexism?

Ideological coup d'etat?

No, that was a well regarded therapeutic technique for beating the internalized misogyny out of a woman

are you saying crazed, violent billionaires who stay up all night calling people clowns don't have our best interests at heart?

Is OP butthurt?

Green Arrow's a 70's liberal

>Nazi's were socialist. Left wing.

No they weren't. Socialism is inclusive, not exclusive. Fascism is libertarianism, it simply denies that anybody except the leader has the right to lead, turning the pillars of government into a pyramidal hierarchy: in essence, collapsing the state by 2/3 of its branches while still delivering - to those it deems to be in the club - the benefits of government, just as libertarianism only works if you have money, land, and influence already when the law gets turned off.

Saying "but they were national socialists" is only exposing your ignorance: you can't be a national socialist, because it's an internationalist movement.

>this thread

I don't think the Joker is a billionaire.

>not muh socialism

I'm praying for you

Yes, and marvel is neo liberal as fuck

Americans discussing politics is like Muslims discussing feminism. Delete this thread, please.

Libertarianism still isn't anarchism, btw

Sure is comics and cartoons in here.

The concept of Superheroes has always had a bit of authoritarian undertones. The idea that people want a "superior being" of some sort to come and fix all of our problems without having to be accountable to anyone else is what attracts some people to fascist or authoritarian systems of government. Superheroes feed that archetype, but how they deal with it depends on the writer.

>what is anarcho-capitalism

>Saying "but they were national socialists" is only exposing your ignorance: you can't be a national socialist, because it's an internationalist movement.

Fucking idiot

Not libertarianism

This, and in this particula board? the famous dumbest board in all Sup Forums is even worst

god, i fucking love neal adams' joker

Also wasn't she anti-Trump and the hat was ironic?
