Anyone here work at your local Kinoplex?

Anyone here work at your local Kinoplex?
I just got offered a a job interview at one of the UK's largest cinema companies and i'm legitimately excited.
What's the most craziest shit you've experienced on the job?
Do you get to watch free movies?
Do the people you work with actually like films?

Give my regards to Robert.

How old are you that you are excited about a shitty low wage job?

Not OP, but you can fuck the hell off. Let him enjoy this and actually be a productive member of society. Bitch.

>underage b&

Minimum wage in UK is above average m8

>excited about a shitty low wage job?

To have a job working in a Cinema is one of my goals, even to at least volunteer on a big release. I don't know what it is, Ive always had this autistic obsession to work at a cinema. My eyes are literally glowing man, I just read the confirmation email 5 mins ago. I might go celebrate

Im 20

>excited about a shitty low wage job

Compared to being a NEET, a shitty low wage job is a big step up in the world. A shitty low wage job you actually like isn't even bad as stepping stones go.

Some of the most fun I had was as a night time security guard while studying. Do-nothing job, nothing but shitposting and reading. And you get paid.

Is it your first job?

>i'm excited to work a dead end job that will ruin my self esteem

Why aren't you guys happy for me?

I was genuinely asking if it was your first desu

>Don't want to jinx it, but I have a sweet pizza hut gig lined up! Seriously can't wait
Jesus Christ OP

...

Enjoy it, my girlfriend used to work in a cinema years ago and still says how much fun it was. Free films.

Something somethibg cuckoldry probably something

Enjoy your job dude, work is all about the people, so make friends and have a good time.

AND IF ITS THE ODEON IN BRACKNELL THEN LET ME USE THAT STAFF DISCOUNT OR I'LL SMACK YOU IN THE GOB

i hear she was good friends with Robert when she worked there, i bet she had a lot of fun there...

I work in a one screen theatre in a small rural town. Sometimes we do concerts, sometimes we do plays. Generally we do kids movies.

It's the comfiest job in the world and I never ever want to lose it. While the movies play I just have to sit at a desk for two hours doing nothing but reading a book or shitposting on Sup Forums. I'm the only person in the building so I don't have to worry about looking busy.

>Pizza hut
>Comparable to the Kinoplex

Thanks Sup Forums

>wants to work in the most likely job to be automated in the next 3-5 years

They already replaced cashiers with ticket machines. Can't see it being much longer for the concession stand.

Good job I got in just in time then aye

>Sometimes we do concerts, sometimes we do plays. Generally we do kids movies.
Max comfy user

That's awesome OP!!! I want that job as well but in the end I settled for a dumb help desk job to please my parents (because it's computer related and I'm studying computer science). Best of luck with your job

Grats,buddy!
Try not to get nervous when you meet Robert.(easier said than done.)

If this is your first job, show up and be ready five minutes early everyday, you would not believe how far that goes.
It's only five minutes less of Sup Forums but the boss will quickly realize your are one of few that can be depended upon.
Robert shows up 10 minutes early
why do this girl looks like a pornstar

It really is. I'm a schizo BPD loser so to have this job is an absolute blessing for someone like me, makes me feel good and is about the most I'm capable of doing.

You won't regret taking this job OP, it's comfy as hell.

OP is Teh Last Ticket Fella(2018)
