The Great Outdoors is kind of a crap film. It's alright if you've seen it 2 or 3 times, but it loses it's novelty very quickly. Of course John Hughes had to stick in that stupid teenage love subplot into it because he literally couldn't make a film about kids falling in love. Literally the only good parts are the ones with the bears.
