Jesus, Joe looked like he was forty in his teenage years.

Dam Murr was sexy as fuck

Terminator 2
revenge (1990)

Singles is pretty much a perfect representation of the early 90s. I'm not sure if there's an equivalent for the late 90s; it's probably something like Can't Hardly Wait or She's all that.

Doom generation

Joe might be the ugliest teen I've ever seen holy fuck lmao

This is why I'm so afraid of getting old
It fucks you up man

>Chad Murr
>Virgin Joe

...

but with the head of a 20 years old

Space Jam and A Goofy Movie were 90s as fuck.

yeah, when i think of the 90's, 2 movies immediatey come to mind: Singles, which captured the grunge scene, and then Swingers, which captured the whole lounge/cocktail scene of the mid 90's

It doesn't really have an overtly 90s feel, but personally every time I see Dumb and Dumber I get instantly transported back to 1995. I guess it's just the nostalgia.

I HAVE NO LEGS

Independence Day is a good candidate.

>right in the middle of the decade, so its whole aesthetic is distinctly and unmistakably "90s" and can't be chalked up to either latent-80s culture or the aughts

A big dumb flick which captures what things were like at the time, in its own way (the 1970s had its own diasaster movie fetish (towering inferno, Poseidon Adventure, and famously the Airplane! spoof) which also time-capsuled that decade.

-People know that computers and the internet are The Next Big Thing but it hasn't quiiiite completely reached total saturation absolutely everywhere, so the film helps middle america understand (again) how computers can be cool (Jeff Goldblum's cute little 2001 startup screen).

Having said all of this, I realize that much of this could just be ported to Jurassic Park.

Problem child 2 is as 90s as it gets and its also pure kino.

so fucking overrated

I think Joe actually got less ugly with age.

i wanna say sal aged the best because he looks the youngest out of the four but he has gained a shit ton of weight.

Jurassic Park

maybe its the cheerleader effect talking, but if Murr didn't land at least a 8.5/10 wife then he fucked up hard.

sadly, age hit Murr like a freight train

Actually, I think Mallrats captures the 90s a bit better than Clerks.

I think all of them but Joe are single

Cmon man,

The Rock was the most 90s action movie.
True Lies was the most 90s action-comedy movie.
Ace Ventura was the most 90s comedy movie.

Jumanji, Hackers, Empire Records, Scream etc, they are not some of my favorite movies of the decade but they remind me of the 90s

The Matrix only works as a pre-Y2K/Late 90s movie.

Space Jam

Pure 90’s kino

Go.

it had the whole tarrantino tie multiple plots together thing, the fashions, the cynical dialog (wholesome Family Circus comics suck, dude) the big beat score, archtypical young 90s actors, and part of it takes place at a rave.
pretty good movie, too.
