The LEGO Batman Movie

Did you see it this weekend? Do you plan to see it soon? Why is Phyllis so great?

disappointed, 6/10.

Who the hell is Phyllis?

I laughed a lot but nowhere near as much as in The Lego Movie. Same goes for the emotional aspect.

I enjoyed the easter eggs and references

Well, kids can be cruel

seen it twice, it was... nice. Unfortunately "references are the jokes" bit will wear off fast.

decent box office numbers.Comparable to TLM,

Zach Galligillafrickfrackis actually does a really good Joker voice, shame he can't fit the part in live action, but maybe can do the part in all the animated adaptions when Mark Hamill retires.

If you thought it was okay the first time, why did you see it a second?

i wanted to hear it with original dub while i had the chance.

*watch

anyone feel like buying an Ipone after seeing the movie

I liked it. It was very similar to the Lego Movie only with a lot more Batman, which I imagine some people would/did find tiring but I didn't.

THIS. It was one big commercial for Apple and Lego products. As a movie it doesn't hold a candle for Disney or Pixar, at best it's comparable to DreamWorks's latest efforts.Solid C.

I feel like hanging around rich people until they give me an iPhone.

shut up, Dick.

...

Alfred's suit looks dope as fuck.

Now comes the waif for Phyllis to be humanized into a FotM...

Could we get pictures of the Bat Lady and Lady Bat costumes? I've been searching and I can't find them.

It was very funny and entertaining, and seemed 10/10 kino after feeling physically angry from the dumpster fires of cringe trailers I had to sit through before the movie started for emoji movie, baby boss, despicable minions 3 and power raggers, also that pop singing coke theatre commercial with the faggots rhythmically passing all their consessions to the left.

Why does Phyllis sound so familiar?

I loved when Batman was just flopping around saying "NOPE" near the start of the film.

I did see it, it's pretty good. Hard to say without rewatching a few times, but I'd say it's probably a worse film in general compared to The Lego Movie, but funnier overall.

Ellie Kemper. Erin from The Office, Kimmy Schmidt from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, weird blowjob girl: dailymotion.com/video/x35730q

my first thought upon seeing it was that they made Alfred a member of the Blackhawks.

I absolutely adore that idea. Alfred has been shown as having military experience in various tellings, making him a member of one of the known military groups in DC gives him a solid grounding.

Also, I miss Zinda.

It was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was silly enough to appeal to kids and the huge amount of references makes it great for Batman fans.
I really want the soundtrack now.

>Erin from The Office

YES, that was it! I KNEW she sounded familiar.
Thank you, user.

poor scuttler

I was annoyed when I left the theater, because the actual plot is kind of a hard left from the advertising. I wanted and expected a Batman movie, and this went in a weird, different direction. Once I get over that sucker punch though, there's nothing that's actually wrong with it, and it might even be fun

I thought Kato from the Green Hornet, DESU.

Can someone who can actually draw PLEASE do this soon?

it was a very enjoyable movie. the whole Batman/Joker relationship was just too damn funny. who was your guys fav villain? Bane and Sauron were pretty great.

Thank you. I only looked through the replies to find someone pointing it out.

Poison Ivy a cute

His Joker reminds me of the fairly well despised Young Justice Joker voiced by Brent Spiner.

other than spurned lover joker, i liked voldemort the best, i think.

It was good, nowhere near the Lego Movie. The problem is I've heard a lot of these Batman jokes a million times before.

Who the hell is Bruce Wayne.

Whenever I take my friend to the movies, he always yells, "No singing in the theatre," at that commercial. Then I tell him, "No yelling in the theatre." We have a good back-and-forth

Chris McKay's time on Moral Orel paid off. I didn't expect anything so emotional. I didn't laugh as much as in The LEGO Movie, but this one is still better overall.

Who did she kiss near the end?

Seen it, loved it but yeah it's not as emotional as Lego which isn't a bad thing but comparisons..

>it's not as emotional as Lego
I don't understand this. I thought this one was way more emotional.

I'm surprised they referenced every single Batman cartoon but Brave and the Bold.

Every time I remember that scene, I laugh. It was so dumb and so funny at the same time.

It was pretty good I would give it 7/10, enjoyed the supremely homo relationship without going full faggot like rockstar. I enjoyed all the references and cues etc. honestly felt a little like a grant Morrison story I was suprised that he wasn't a writer

Gentleman Ghost being Batman's enemy was probably one

Batlady.

Lady Bat.

Phyllis porn when

And here's Batterina too. It's currently the only one of Batman's rejected "female Batman" costumes to be made as a real minifig.

Do you have photos of the various older movies depicted with Lego versions? It flipped by too fast to take in.

Only this. The scene as it happens in the movie hasn't shown up as a Youtube clip yet.

Looks like a few villains were cut.

Also, kinda trippy to see fanart be used as reference art.

On the left column, who's second, fourth, and last from the top?

They look like Silver Banshee and Doctor Double X. I can't recognize the last one, though.

>Lego movie
>advertises Legos

How shocking! Thanks for letting me know in advance, might have ruined it for me.

>one big lego commercial
user...
>apple
i will give you this. that was sort of weird. no one in gotham owns an android?

They really wanted Siri to play the Batcomputer. I guess this was how Apple wanted to be paid.

Why was Robin so shameless about taking his pants off but he covered his eyes when Batman did the same at the end?

If you have an iPhone, say "Hey, 'Puter." to Siri.

...son of a bitch

l-lewd.

They're not mutually exclusive, because the human mind is just genuinely fucked up like that.

Spinder lacked Galifianakis' emoting.

Bumping with art from the last thread.

WHY WAS SUPERMAN SUCH A DICK HOLY FUCK

Fun fact: The people who wrote this movie originally wrote episodes for American Dad and Robot Chicken.

What happens? Does it call you Batman? Is the first part of this comic finally coming true?

...

>last from the top?
Clock King. Don't know the others.

Jenny Slate a cute

No no, underneath Clock King.

>1995 literally being a close-up of Bat-nipples
I almost died laughing.

Hey thanks, bro. Where'd you even get these?

They've been releasing all sorts of scenes as promotional clips. I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen the spoilery characters yet.

I have a feeling that we're gonna get this outfit as a real minifig next year, since she's wearing a new piece for her hood.

I liked how one of the merchandise shirts has the logo from The Batman.

I thought that logo was familiar.

>You wanna get nuts?
>LET'S GET NUTS.
It loses steam a bit in the second half, but the first part of this movie is fucking 11/10

Drawfag here. Anybody have any brick-based requests?

The cover to The Killing Joke but with LEGO Joker

Mrs. Gordon was qt. Not usually into it but tan skin and a red ponytail was a great combo. I saw a thread on /aco/ a few months back about the girl from the first lego movie and thought it was stupid, but I guess I get it now considering I was imaging everyone as humans in the Batman movie but not in the original.
Best line in the entire movie when the joker was on the TV foreshadowing his plan that would come into play in about five seconds, where they pictured a few shocked people, a stall owner, a mother and her child, when a businessman says "I'm gonna start looting" and turns around to walk offscreen.

The famous bane breaks bat panel but with their lego version

Bruce Wayne stepping on a LEGO Batman

>I bought the Joker's notorious lowrider set for the Harley Quinn figure
Am I retarded?

I don't know how wise it is to buy a 50$ set just for one minifig, but you're lucky that the Lowrider is sick as fuck.

I only had to pay like $40 for it.
Walmart discounted it like a month after it came out.

Even better! Share pics when you build it.

Already built it, got it way back before the movie come out.

Working on it!

You're surprised? The title of the movie has two fucking brand names in it, user.

Lego Magpie caressing something shiny.

>something shiny

... a light brick?

Have you noticed some scenes from trailers don't appear in the movie? In trailers Bruce spits translucent Lego bricks,in the movie its cgi water.
Also the scene with tiptoeing Alread is nowhere in the movie.
The movie was going to be even more packed, I am interested in the bonus features Chris McKay promised to put on DVD.

That took a bit longer than I expected. No more inks for the rest of the requests I think.

Whatever works best. Thanks!

Oops, I used ink again. Here you go user!

Not OR, but that's awesome user. Only Lego movies can get away with dismembering a character, or rather disassembling. Plastic figs make it look silly. good job.

dude that was like the 3rd time it was built and destroyed. all those reactions were his computer which stayed alive the whole time.

Lego movie had special minifig parts that were never made and Ninjago and NexoKnight series are covered in beards, hairs and accessories in lego fashion that never happen.

eh, as long as you build play with the lowrider it's all good. Now otherwise yes because she's like $10 on her own so you are tipple paying for stuff you don't want added to it.
