Terminator hubris

Does the terminator realize that he made a huge mistake shooting at the frozen T-1000 unit?
All he really had to do is to pick up the main body and throw it into the molten iron right next to it.

a little anti climatic

would someone hiding in the arctic be completely safe from the T-1000? i mean he wouldn't be able to go there without freezing completely right?

liquid nitrogen is a little bit colder than the arctic
>tfw I'm replying to bait

Or the script could be rewritten to not include anything unreasonable, including time travel.

no you fucking idiot. whatever chemical froze the T-1000 is obviously much, much colder than ambient arctic temperatures

Why didn't the machines just send a terminator back 2 hours before Connor broke into the complex and sent Reese back in time. Then send like 10,000 terminators back?

What about a sub or base in the bottom of the Arctic?

THEIR DEFENSE GRID WAS SMASHED
WE'D WON

Why didn't they go back in time once they knew where Connors forces would be, then using their autistic computer abilities drop bombs a nano-second before they showed up, instantly killing everyone?

Naw he would get you there too

he would get his own sub and torpedo you

KILLING CONNOR THEN WOULDN'T HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE
SKYNET HAD TO WIPE OUT HIS ENTIRE EXISTENCE

dumbass just stop

Skynet made the mistake.

It should have gone all cyberpunk villain and taken over human society. Holding humanity hostage to its will.

nuking the shit out of the world and fighting a protracted insurrection across time and space would be more effort and more risk.

And now you know why time travel in movies is always shit.

because they'd already lost and killing Connor wouldn't stop them losing at that point, they had to make it so there was never any resistance at all

So why didn't they... Arnie sure would have looked silly with 10,000 T-1000s chasing him.

Their base was getting invaded at that very moment. They only had time to send one Terminator back before the rebels got to the time machine, then they sent Reese back.

Why didn't they send him back an hour so they'd have more time?

Cos again, they'd already lost the war

But then they'd have time to send more terminators to the past.

They wouldn't have a war if Connor didn't exist

they fucked up its brain and it started to think like a human

No. T-1000 was pretty experimental and not even skynet was sure of it's full potential.

This is great stuff. I could
make a career out of this guy.
You see how clever this part
is...how it doesn't require a
shred of proof. Most paranoid
delusions are intricate...but
this is brilliant

I DIDN'T BUILD THE FUCKING THING

>he just had to say hasta la vista baby

>implying you could live in the arctic without being born there or being super rich

He probably doesn't because it needs intuition and creativity to think of that strategy.

SOMETHING ABOUT THE FIELD GENERATED BY A LIVONG ORGANISM. NOTHING DEAD WILL GO

I feel like that idea is where the new one is going to go

like destroying the chip in T2 stopped the original nuclear controlling Skynet but it returns in some other form

>shattered into little pieces
>the pieces don't turn into little T1000's and run around bumping into each other

Cameron had ONE JOB

That scene was absolute fucking kino. But then again, most of T2 is

Why would T800 shoot it? It's pointless even when it's not frozen

Y didnt T2 just go back more in time like into the Stone age or in the middle age and kill conors granddad or something? Then conors mother would never be born and conor would never have been born too. Also right before that he could go back in time to the assembly Line where they make the older terminator guy and just turn off the machine that makes the old terminator,,,or even blow it up so it cant make Them anymore,,,then no one could stop T2 in the older times and they would win over conor

>>implying you could live in the arctic without being born there
what?

To stun it long enough to grab the wheel.

Records from that era were spotty at best.

Temperature has little to do with it. Liquid is a far bigger factor. Liquid is more dense than a gas (air) so being submerged into it transfers far more heat.

Same reason space isn't cold, since it's a vacuum and there's very little heat transfer, in the form of radiation, but radiation isn't very significant at low temperatures (in absolute terms). So if you were naked you wouldn't really freeze. You'd still suffocate though unless you could close your nostrils and mouth.

Also solar radiation would fuck you up. That's why space suits are white.

Wouldn't your body kind of explode because space is a near vaccuum?

Nah, you'd get lots of bruises though.

Also, your blood would start to boil and your lung could rupture if you don't exahle before the pressure drops.

Still it's pointless to make that hasta la vista baby shot

Everybody knows that the quickest way to defeat an out of control AI is to ask it an imponderable question.
