Say what you will about the series, the opening really makes you curious and eager.
I wish the animation was that smooth in the actual show, tho.
People say Ducktales is catchy but this just got me the moment I first heard it Plus it's all just constantly jumping from one image to another. I love it.
Oops, wrong link.

The only cartoon theme song I have on my iPod
youtube.com
as an adult i still adore this intro
youtube.com
Roboboy intro for some reason is just so cool to me, a shame the cartoon was apparently just alright. CN should reboot this series, but with a overarching storyline, that would be cool
youtube.com
Pretty much what got me into Mechs
youtube.com
Still gets me pumped. You just know RADICAL shit is about to happen.
NO GUTS NO GLORY
youtube.com
Solid choice, OP. That intro is god tier.
youtube.com
I was pretty skeptical of Batman Beyond as a kid who grew up with TAS, but I was basically sold on it the first time I saw/heard the intro.
Season two was so garbage I couldn't get past the second episode.
The whole damn show was a waste of an IP considering the source material they had to work with. socio/political/religious/economic conflict and conspiracies among over a dozen factions (and that's before you take those meddling Earthers into account), and it gets watered down to this drivel...
>nobody posting one of the easiest options

that theme weirds me out a lot, but in a good way.
I missed this thread
was going to post this

Always gets me pumped.
That part with mugshots dancers details like that just get to me.
>Johny Quest intro
Fuck you, now I won't be able to get that from my head for the rest of the month.
also the 90's series' soundtrack was preety dope too: youtube.com
well, now we have to post this:
No, user don't post japanese stuff, most of the western intros can't compete.
Here however have something different an "English" version of Mazinger Z.
>youtube.com
>kouji can
>swim in the sky
>he can fly beneath the sea
>next season when
This thread is amazing
bonus point for forgotten flashback inducing goes to
Sadly all the ones that come to mind are anime, not sure how Sup Forums would take "Black Heaven" intro.
What studio did that OP
Way way back in the day I asked Geof Darrow if he knew the exact lyrics to this song, and he revealed to me that he made them up on the spot while singing them over the phone to a guy who asked about the kind of theme song the show should have, and then promptly forgot the lyrics after hanging up.
Was Tale Spin as good as I remember? The intro has so much personality but I don't remember if the content was on the same level.
youtube.com
The Godzilla TAS by the same guys wasn't bad desu
the 70's one has some cool intro too youtube.com
as does the 60's King Kong
youtube.com
and kong:TAS
youtube.com
I can't just post the intro, I need to post the first scene of the series that led to my first viewing of the intro
youtube.com
youtube.com
The hype was FUCKING PALPABLE
i think it was the aeon flux guys
youtube.com
the time squad intro was catchy
Of all the shit getting live action adaptations I'm surprised someone hasn't made a Jonny Quest series yet.
>Not posting the superior German OP for Mega Man
I don't know about the series, but I certainly can see a movie series adaptation. Like all the "young adult" books get nowadays, the hunger games, divergent(?) etc. with that chick from the 90s cartoon as the expy for the teenage girls.
I don't like what I see.
sabeeerr riiiddeeeeeeeeeeeerrr
Hey guys, how about the greatest rip-off in the history of cartoon intro sequences?:
youtube.com
BEST. SONG. EVER.
Let's get dangerous
Whole song is actually pretty awesome
youtube.com
And the whole theme:
youtube.com
Really fitting.
bump with another classic intro
youtube.com
>Duck Dodgers
god tier taste user
no full op song ever
okay im fucking hype
The guy who storyboarded that also did the X-Men TAS intro.
According to him, the producers let him do what he wanted and we got that.
this is so adorable
Best Spider-Man music, fuck that repetitive "spectacular" bullshit.
youtube.com
youtube.com
how can you forget about this
youtube.com
>that animation
>that shading
The entire soundtrack for Mighty Max was nothing but extended guitar solos and that's awesome, fuck yeah I love that show.
Visionaries had a dope ass opening too.
youtube.com
This here symbiotic nigga knows whats up.
Marvel shows in the nineties had great intros
youtube.com
That show was surprisingly dark, even though it still had the traditional 80s "lasers that don't really hurt anyone" thing going on.
The premise pretty fucked "we're already doomed" along with quite a few episodes revolving around "alright we can go meet these guys" and they're already zone zombies made for a pretty grim atmosphere for a children's show.
It was really big in japan too but I think they got a different version from the west.
It's so fucking good. Why is this so good?
youtube.com
the catchiest it has that 70's be-bop tune to it
I really liked the Extended them on STAS.
youtube.com
I love cartoon intro threads. It means I get to post the season 2 intro for Sky Surfer Strike Force again.
youtube.com
Here's some obligatory King Arthur and the Knights of Justice.
youtube.com
Spiral Zone actually started out in Japan as a toy line, with text stories in a magazine. The whole line was designed by the same guy who did Gundam. So it was kind of a big deal for a short time. The US version had a completely different story line, as far as I know. To try and extend the life of the toy line, Japan did get a dub of the cartoon apparently.
The worst part was that they were planing on incorporating some of that into season two, and the executives vetoed that in favor of continuing the now concluded competition arc.
Originally earth was going to invade the planet and the good guy and bad guy teems from season one would join up to fend of the invasion. But instead of that we got robot dinosaurs and mechs with flying surfboards.
i oddly remeber this, did the main character have a thing with the girl of the team?
Posting Silverhawks
Sky Surfer Strike Force? I don't actually remember much about the show itself. It wasn't anything special. The intro is just nuts.
Don't forget there are full versions of most of the Disney Afternoon themes.

The Batman had a pretty cool intro
youtu.be
Needs more awful sound quality and random tympani accompaniment.
>tympani
I'm an idiot. That's clearly a marimba.
>somebdy else loves the intro for Droids
This show was my fucking shit growing up.
They had these giant dirt piles near the baseball fields that me and my friends would play on.
Climbing to the top and throwing balls of dirt at the other kids while screaming "THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG" was one of the fondest moment of my childhood.
I swear this song is burned into my god damn memory.
I haven't watched it in nearly 20 years and I still find myself humming it every so often.
whatever happen to this i never found it to watch it anywhere
>mousing over embeds
I recognize that giant flame monster!
