>I'll just tell Mr. Tyrell that you tried to shoot me

What did she mean by this ?

Unreal to me that people like this movie.

>stop liking what I don’t like

What's your top movie thus far this year?

Was the Madam telling K to bone her if she finished drinking the bottle?

You're allowed to like it, I just don't understand the crazy adoration.

Good Time
The Florida Project
Columbus
The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Loveless

I think those are all much better than it.

Final fight was 11/10

Why?

>How many times have you seen it?
Got a 4th time in this past Saturday. Still amazing.
>Favorite scene/character/quote?
When Joi gets her gift and goes to the roof
Joi
“You don’t have to say that...”
>Is Deckard a replicant?
>Was Joi genuine?
The point of the whole fucker is that it doesn’t matter with either of these but no and yes respectively.
>Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your 2049 waifu
Cuban, pink, tits, eyes, cute, fap

It's just another soft reboot so they can turn it into a franchise.

I can't even be bothered to care. I wish Villeneuve would get back to thrillers.

>How many times have you seen it?
2
>Favorite scene/character/quote?
scene: final fight, the waves and music get to my heart
character: K but Luv is starting to win me over
quote: not really a quote but the whole baseline scene keeps running in head
>Is Deckard a replicant?
Up to you
>Was Joi genuine?
I think so, but in the end It only matters to K
>Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your 2049 waifu
Luv is love

Fury Road was also a soft reboot and it was best action movie in decade probably.

>How many times have you seen it?
3 times. Each time in smaller rooms until it was just me me in a 55 seater on a thursday afternoon.
>Favorite scene/character/quote?
Scene: "What am I to you?". K's genuine smile was amazing to see.
Character: K obviously but I liked the bald dude from wallace HQ. I liked his quirkiness.
>Is Deckard a replicant?
No, only because it diminishes Roy's death.
>Was Joi genuine?
No, she was a good program but she was still a program. K realizes this at the bridge.
>Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your 2049 waifu.
Strawberry shampoo, piercing stares, autistic compliments.

Who cares, honestly. It was fun but I don't think it's super interesting.

I already watched a pirated screener versiom that had low quality

Are there any high quality-ish pirated versions of this film around? Waiting two months for the bluray release seems like a long time

Two things I still don't understand:

1) How did K reconcile the idea that he was human with the fact that he could break through walls and his wounds healed instantly?

2) How did K find Deckard/Luv at the end?

Forgot #3:

Why did K decide that Deckard meeting his daughter was more important that a Replicant revolution? What cause exactly was he dying for?

Then go in the theater while you still can.

He thought he was replicant that was born, not a human.

He lived his life only taking orders from others and never doing anything for himself. Even his fellow replicants just gave him another mission to do. For the first time in his life, he did something of his own volition.

i think it was assumed he used his resources as a cop to locate them

You sound like a philistine.

When Deckard asks Luv where they are going why does she say home?

No theatres near me are showing it anymore

I'd rather watch a high quality version, I don't have time/energy to go to the movies

Surely someone else has seen a decent quality version around

youtube.com/watch?v=Rwbqi5YIsls

Because it's true? Off-world colonies is main base of Wallace's corporation.

Deckard's home isn't off world

Luv's is.

Maybe

...

Once.

Deckard/K fight / Officer K / whole confrontation w/ revolution leader

Deckard is human IMO.

Joi is a fake AI, but perhaps something needed in the BR universe. It is advanced enough to act like a genuine human, but it can never be one.

Loyal, QT

I thought replicants cant disobey, but K disobeys Madam and Luv disobeys Wallace?

Nobody cares tbqhwy

If there was a big Blackedout in 2022, why was everything wiped, assuming there would be all types of corporate records off-world?
It seemed like Earth wasn't that great even in 2019, so most of the real action would be happening in the colonies.
Asking for a friend.

I actually couldn't listen to ASMR for awhile after I saw this movie. I feel like the fact that I listen to ASMR every day made the JOI storyline a little too real for me

Shit, 2 hours ago. Just checked her this morning and thought I had missed this for some weird reason. Thanks.

>Strawberry shampoo, piercing stares, autistic compliments.
the police chief ?

That's because replicants can disobey

Have any other wallpaper sized stills?

>already seen it two times
>want to see Thor this weekend
>friends want to see BR2049 instead because they haven't seen it yet
I feel like I might get bored with it if I see it a third time.

Thor is ass

Seeing Hoeks in a suit made me a Luvfag for life. It feels good to belong to the right camp.

Has anyone made a gif of Luv stomping on the emmiter with the caption "You're waifu is shit" yet? Because if not I'm gonna have to learn how to make gifs.

>How many times have you seen it?
Twice.

>Favorite scene/character/quote?
The threesome was purely absolute fucking
A E S T H E T I C.
Favorite characters were Ana and Doc Badger because they're helpful people in a society that produces many many shitty people.
"Yes. . . Somebody lived this."

>Is Deckard a replicant? Was Joi genuine?
Unconfirmed, but if he can love then he may as well be a person. JOI is genuine, in much the same way my PlayStation is genuine.

>Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your 2049 waifu.
I do not waifu, at least not in this case.

>user K-Y-S-4-dash-three-dot-seven, let's begin. Ready?
Yes, sir.
>Recite your baseline.
And reddit newfaggotry began to spin... A board of threads crosslinked within threads crosslinked within threads crosslinked within one (you)... And meaningless memes against the blue, a short fat neckbeard cried.
>Threads.
Threads.
>Have you ever been out of the house? Threads.
Threads.
>Do they make you post? Threads.
Threads.
>When you're not shitposting, do they keep you in a little room? Threads.
Threads.
>Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>What's it like to hold the pillow of your waifu? Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>Did they teach you how to feel nothing and nothing? Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>Do you long for having your quints crosslinked? Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>Do you dream about being crosslinked?
Crosslinked.
>What's it like to hold your fapfu in your hands? Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>Do you feel that there's a cancer inside you that's trying? Crosslinked.
Crosslinked.
>Within threads crosslinked.
Within threads crosslinked.
>Why don't you say that three times: Within threads crosslinked.
Within threads crosslinked. Within threads crosslinked. Within threads crosslinked.
>We're done. Constant user, you can pick up your tendies.

Thank you, sir.

>How many times have you seen it?
Once

>Favorite scene/character/quote?
The baseline tests

>Is Deckard a replicant?
Probably, but there's ample evidence for either argument.

>Was Joi genuine?
No. But hell, I can't blame K. I was falling in love with a 2D version I have no way to interact with.

Do Replicants age like humans?

fuck off and die

they seem to. medic replicant at the start certainly seemed old. can't imagine he was made that way. My question is, why did Wallace want replicants to own the universe? or was he really tyrell's last hurrah and long forgotten?

Made this earlier thought you guys might like it.

Holy heh
Saved

Sapper had lived for awhile, Tyrell had extended their lifespans. He'd been on the run for at least 20 years, he was present for the birth, who's around 20-30 range.

more correct version
general "culture" is outsider culture :^)

>not putting shots of the Roose Goose in The Notebook for the female

One fucking job, m8.

...

nobody is stopping you from opening up photoshop m8

I'm a filthy peasant and don't know how to use photoshop.

nobody is stopping you from trying to use photoshop and youtubing basic tutorials and then getting the hang of things after a week and then creating whatever you imagine, m8

no u

I'm just a guy with better taste than you. No need to get so accusatory.

Look, guys, You're allowed to like these movies and I'm allowed to not like them. No need to spreg out so hard any time someone expresses a dissenting opinon.

>Luv will never murder you

sorry you can't afford to go to the theaters user. maybe if you ask nicely your mother will give you a ten dollar bill

Why and how would stuff be backed up off-world? Remember there is no indication of an internet in Blade Runner. It seems they backed up most stuff on those crystal spheres but those got fried by the black-out.

Dumb question, how did the baseline test work?
the CELLS and INTERLINKED (INTERLINKED) stuff was cool but I had no clue what was going on
Was he just supposed to repeat the words?

He is asked a provocative question meant to emotionally destabilize him, with a word tacked on in the end. He is supposed to repeat the word without emotion.

If he gets emotional then the is deviating from his base-line and thus "malfunctioning".

This weekend I watched three different movies in theaters.

anybody else sense a vapor wave aesthetic in BR49? I feel like they just ripped off ~ a e s t h e t i c ~ memes and just tossed gosling in there for added internet kudos points. and I loved it and ate it up and want more

there's no need to lie on an anonymous image board, user. it's ok.

Once
favorite scene is either the memory creation or joi hologram
probably not
As genuine as something programed can be

I don't like seeing movies in theaters multiple times, will be getting this on Blu-ray as soon as it's available (might even pick it up earlier via digital if VUDU offers disc + digital on it)

When's the last time you went to a small art house theater, user?

Try moviepass.
