John Stewart should be a blue lantern

At no point in his history could John Stewart ever be described as "hopeful".

Omega Men had some fantastic covers

Also hyped as fuck for the upcoming Grell Green Arrow variants

we could have an entire thread for shade covers

Wait, is this just a reference to a previous comic, or did Saint Walker accidentally kill everyone on Earth?

Looks trippy. Who is this; I've tried researching "Shade the Changing Man" yet I don't think I completely understand.

Shade, The Changing Man is a Steve Ditko character who had a great revival in the 1990s under the Vertigo imprint. The crazy covers are from the 1990s run:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shade,_the_Changing_Man#Peter_Milligan_and_the_Vertigo_years

He is an alien from a planet named Meta who travelled to earth and in the first story arc, inhabited the body of a murdered who was in the process of being executed and was brain dead, hence that cover

Pic related is one of my favourite Lucifer covers

How many times has this one cover been recreated?

>The faggot behind Sinfest drew this

How someone who hates America so damn much could draw such a dope G.I. Joe cover, I'll never understand.

...

He got paid money to do so. Money can make you "forget" your political ideas for a while.

Good luck counting them, it's the most homaged cover of all time.

Now I want someone to make the original cover using only the covers that pay homage to it.

What are you talking about?

...

...

...

...

>What are you talking about?

Artist for that cover is Tatsuya Ishida.

He has a hardcore leftist webcomic called Sinfest where he spouts anti-American views on a daily basis.

Ironic, since he's a former GI Joe artist...

That cover is drawn by Frank Miller.

that's frank miller donkey

...

...

I kinda want this as a poster

...

That cover is by Frank Miller, dumbass.

...

...

This was the best thing to come out of last year.

Adding on to that

Context?

...

...

Too much hope can be dangerous.

classic

Underrated

>The Chicken!Colonel

W-w-wait, does he run a kentucky fried human restaurant?

What's this style called?

...

Not enough humans there to do that, they just specialized in the sides instead.

...

Fuck off Komaeda

Can't read moon runes and silver age supes might be cheating but yeah this gave me a hearty chuckle irl. 8/10

Man, I did NOT like Spawn but gotdang is it a wealth of some of the finest 90's edge art available

kek

I might have put the car at more of an angle so it's more immediately obvious whats happening in the picture

Was Sandman Overture good? It sort of seemed to just come and go without much fanfare. I'm sure it's worth reading for the art alone, though.

It's really a great series, at some point in the series a young Bachallo gets put on art and he is REALLY in his element there.

Cannot recommend it enough

Holy shit
