What is each Bat rogue's best story?

What is each Bat rogue's best story?

From Left to Right

>Killer Croc: Requiem for a Killerr
>Scarecrow: Maybe his stint in NML?
>Hush: Heart of Hush
>Humpty: Arkham Asylum Living Hell
>Calendar Man: TLH
>Zsasz: The Last Arkham
>Clayface: Mortal Clay
>Ra's: O'Neil's Demon Saga
>Catwoman: Brubaker's Run
>Two Face: TLH
>Riddler: Dini's Detective Comics
>Freeze: Heart of Ice
>Harley Quinn: Mad Love
>Joker: Killing Joke (cliche, but true)
>Black Mask: Under the Hood
>Bane: Knightfall
>Ratcatcher: his debut in Grant's 'Tec
>Strange: Prey
>Ventriloquist: Fever
>Poison Ivy: Pavane
>Firefly: Batgirl Year One
>Killer Moth: Batgiel Year One
>Great White Shark: Arkham Asylum Liiving Hell

I left out any where I couldn't come up with any great stories for them

well that is nice thx man

thanks dude

Thanks dude.

For Penguin, maybe Penguin Triumphant? Or that story he had in Joker's Asylum.

For Riddler I'd say Dark Knight Dark City.

>Penguin Triumphant

Seconded. That story is great.

Batman stabs a baby in the throat with a pencil

I was debating between that and the Dini Riddler comics. Part of the reason I went with Dini is because DKDC Riddler is being controlled by Barbatos so wasn't totally "himself."

imo the quintessential Riddler is relatively light hearted ans just absurdly full of himself, even if Dark City was a great subversion of that.

>Mortal Clay
>not The Mudpack

i would agree with all that except for Black Mask, his introductory story is much better than most other things he's been in.

Killer Croc: That Time He Threw A Really Big Rock

>The Coming of Clayface
>Mortal Clay
>Mudpack

Why are all the best Clayface stories Clayface III? It's weird that I can't think of any big Karlo stories considering he's the most famous.

>Mad Hatter
>Scarecrow
>Penguin
>Freeze (Comics)

Does anyone have stories for these?

I always felt Moench's stuff from that era was only just ok

> the best Riddler story is written by Scott Lobdell.

What the Hell even is this?

A one-shot Gotham City Sirens story by Lobdell and March, it is pretty good

> Two-Face: Crime/Punishment

> Penguin: the Joker's Asylum spotlight on him (Riddler and Croc also had good stories too).

> Scarecrow: The problem with every Scarecrow story is they have great premises, but then fizzle out and have horrible endings. The closest one that doesn't really is Prey, but Jonathan plays second fiddle to Hugo Strange in that.

> Freeze: The only one that gets anything out of me comic-wise is the one from No Man's Land where there's constant Frankenstein homages in it. Other than that literally the best comics that involve Freeze are the ones that come from B:TAS. Pic related.

>Penguin: the Joker's Asylum spotlight on him

>liking maximum edgelord

>Scarecrow
Fear for Sale, and it's also one of the best Batman stories, period

You know, I've heard this a few times and ended up reading the issue. It's pretty good but I don't see what the big deal is.

What about it do people love so much?

Casuals need to leave

Come on, that scene is cool as hell. It's what happens when THE mob boss with a serious complex about his looks thinks you're laughing at him.

The current Detective Comics run has been iffy, but it has a great Karlo, especially his interaction with Mudface

I was going to suggest Absolute Terror. It is a good two-parter.

Thanks, pham.

But Mudpack was explicitly Clayfaces I, III, IV, and the corpse of II
