Daily reminder that Lego Batman hasn't even been fucking released in Australia yet, while Fifty Cunts Darker has been.

Well no shit, Fifty is pseudo porn targeted at 30+ year old women while the other is a kid's movie.

Yeah, gauging interest based on worldwide sales is like saying that Americans aren't interested in video games that were only released in Japan because there are no sales of those games in the US.

lego shit is cancer, stop raping every ip and make a Japanese mech line

What's the fucking appeal?
Fine, I can accept that sex drive can turn a rational person into an animal but for the love of God, what's the point of watching boring shitfest with awful dialogue that is not even good for the sake of porn? (if the first """""movie""""" is any indication)

Valentines movie to get your partner in the mood to fuck.

Because folks love fantasy. Especially ones that either allows you control or have them have control over you. And the actors are so fucking bland with no chremisty it allows the best self insertion.

>Single women with disposable income outweigh parents who haven't had enough childish antics
Color me surprised.

>Australia

Australia's never been an important box office market so delaying things for the aussies doesn't matter.

They'd rather pirate everything anyway.

Women are stupid.

...

>make a Japanese mech line

America can't even make a functioning combat mech. Fucking shitstain megabots talking mad shit then not going through with it.

The lego movie was cringy as fuck.

>not released on the same markets
>Domestic Lego Batman: $98,791,314
>Domestic Fifty Shades: $89,663,300

Nice thread OP

First 15 minutes were great, the rest is watered down "family values" shit.

>look how cool and contrarian I'am on the internet, mom!

Didn't the fifty shades of grey saga hold some sort of book sales record?

The Bachelor/Bachelorette is one of the more successful franchises on TV. Faggots and women have terrible taste. Anything about sex or people sex lives and they become rabid.

How dare you!

You know you can't say horrible things like that! even if they are true

Warner bros can't make good animated movies, Lego Movie was the exception.
If you want a good animated movie watch Disney or Pixar, at worst case DreamWorks.

>Didn't the fifty shades of grey saga hold some sort of book sales record?

The first book is the best selling book since tracking began in the UK.

>They'd rather pirate everything anyway.
user, there's a reason why Australian's pirate more than any other.

When a torrent is uploaded before a movie or tv series has been released in the country, what exactly do you expect the public to do?

>Australia's never been an important box office market so delaying things for the aussies doesn't matter.

Australia was the third largest box office market for John Wick and yet the movie has only recently been given a release date for May.

By the time is will be released here you will probably see a couple of reports that Australia has pirated their way to the top once again.

And don't forget to check out that Marvel™ and Star Wars™ movies too! Haha I mean if you don't want to be a r*ddit.com x.D.!!!

Pirating is stealing btw

>OP hates DC so much that he will pay a ticket to watch crap movies

I missed the threads, what did Sup Forums think of the movie?

>Warner bros can't make good movies
I don't know why you threw animated in there like that

...

>Comparing a sexual movie to a kids movie
Are you really that retarded to make this thread, user?

It really was

Lego batman was SO FUCKING GOOD tho

There are more than 4 studios making animated movies.

but Lego Batman is pretty sexual, too!

I've waited out a school vacation so I can watch this movie without the company of approximately 200 toddlers and now the local cinemas are showing it in English without 3D twice a day, which they usually never do with kids movies. It's a very pleasing development.

>perhaps the most clearly postmodernistic animated movie in last 10 years
>a classic concept of the hero's journey to a higher world, him meeting with the gods and returning to his own world as a better person
>combined with a concept of a world where anyone has the potential to build anything out of anything
>adding in a meta concept of them being fictional characters that depend on the creator's fate
>having a fictional universe which can host a giant amount of different worlds and avoid copyright problems
>mixing some classical archetypes in
>also bringing in the idea that creative thinking and technolog being useful not on their own, but only when they are combined

And out of all that, all you see are "cringy family values"? You disappoint me Sup Forums.

>technolog
technology*

Lego Batman is doing better if you compare it market by market and also it had a really small drop from the opening weekend, like 30% or something.

The movie is doing pretty great

>middle aged women have no taste

ya don't say

>women have no taste
FTFY

Post Batpages.

Most of Sup Forums liked it.

> Australia is a 100m market

Exo Force?
That was a thing

Blue Sky?
Illumination?

they're all shit.

Anyone checked out the telesync yet?

Is it still the shitty video with that fucking kid standing up the whole movie

...

>Aardman
>anything but plebeian
Their only good work is Ident.

that's.... accurate.

Stats don't matter, except when they do. One of the first rules of internet debate.

How's the anime figure collecting going?

Exoforce, Bionicle and Herofactory

There are plenty of sets with mechs like Ninjago, The Lego Movie, Lego DC Superheroes and lego Marvel Superheroes, Galaxy Squad and nexo Knights with mechs

also your post literally proves you can build your own combat mech. You understand the point of lego, right?
