The best kind of villain.

>Villain dies/is defeated
>They don't suddenly cease to exist in the memory of the heroes
>Even after their arc is long over, their actions and words are remembered and they're still taken seriously as one of the greatest threats the heroes had ever known

>sequel is released
>their sibling we never heard of appears

>villain is genuinely charming, friendly, and goofy

I hate how Varrick stopped being a villain after season 2

>saving a thumbnail

...

>They get a villain song.
>It's upbeat and bouncy, as well as sinister.

>old joke villain defeats new serious villain

>Aku
>threatening
The more tense episodes were usually not directly caused by Aku, it was usually a third party or someone actually competent hired by Aku like the lion hunters.

Never happened on Western animation.

How about the Aku Infection?

>Old one-off overpowered villain comes back in later season and loses against the heroes in a fair fight to show how much stronger they've gotten

Huh, well I'll be, an episode I've somehow not watched.

>villain is a joke
>they say fuck it and turn good

I don't want to spoil too much, but it does provide some interesting questions about how Jack's sword works.

In all his forms really, not just the fat one

This is exactly why I liked Luthor in BvS.

I didn't like how in the end he just came off as a puppet of darkseid that lost his sanity long ago. Doesn't leave much potential to do more with him.

And that's why this guy is one of my favorite supervillians.

I liked Eisenberg's performance a lot and I enjoyed some of his dialogue but I hated his plan and the way he was utilized in the film.

This guy is fucking gold. R&C is my favorite cartoon.
>THIS ISN'T FUNNY LAWRENCEEEE

>villain and hero keep with flirting banter
>not just fucking and getting it over already

There's zero chance Aku didn't fuck him during the journey. "To keep up appearances."

Did this happen anywhere outside of WoY?

>Villain and Hero are fighting
>Hero almost dies somehow but villain saves him
>Only so he can continue to wail on the Hero some more

Yeah, it was forced. As soon as the writers realized he was popular they tried to capitalize on it, but in the process ruined what made him great.

had to get those seven daughters from somewhere.

>Villain is complex, human and has internal conflict while still being wholly despicable and unsympathetic

>Villain treats his minions well.
>Minions act like bros to each other and are willing to sacrifice themselves.

Legend of Korra.

>the laughing

>the laughing... STOPS

>Villain is actually the MC from an Alternate Universe.
>Villain is the MC's son.

>the fucking amazing fight in Up Your Arsenal

Nothing gets me rock harder than the villain going 100% all in complete with being a wicked tricky bastard.

>despite being enemies the hero and villain respect one another

hell FIYAH
hell FIYAH

...

Joker was dead in Batman Beyond, but the show made it a point that he was such a big deal that he stuck around as an icon. (even before he actually did come back)

BALLS DEEP SAMURAI

>retired villain
>normal suburban baby boomer
>has hobbies like gardening and birdwatching
>has a secret trophy room
>full of guns and swords and bombs
>his old costume hung up for him to look at
>friendly to neighborhood kids
>implied he could snap back to villainy any time

He seemed fine as a villain but he didn't really feel like Luthor at all.

"Things that don't exist" thread?

>it's a villain episode
>the villain(s) take over the show's theme song

Man, I don't know what's crazier, this or the identity of The Beast.

Ultimate power...

Maybe there will be a ludo vs toffee scene

>villain is serene and seemingly likable at the first glance
>can take someone's life and generally commit horrible crimes with as much ease as breathing

The Beast was honestly called by people immediately after the first game, then dismissed because everyone thought it was too obvious. I seem to be in the minority in feeling that inFamous 2 was complete and utter garbage, and you're better off just skipping to Second Son and pretending the second game never happened.

Please post the best cases of this

The movie was garbage, but this was a highlight.

Hard not to just link every Disney villain song.

post villain theme take overs

good one
youtube.com/watch?v=oNi5sfeBNQ4

>villain acts like a joke but everyone else treats them like a serious threat anyway
>in the final battle we see why that is

I can't think of any cartoons that do that but is a good example.

GENERAL SCAR

>last minute face turn

What's Him user

WELL IF IT ISN'T THE HEIR TO THE THRONE OF THE ROAMING RHULLO, THE LEADER OF THE SPACE PIRATE BAND KNOWN ACROSS THE UNIVERSE AS THE GUYZOCH, PRINCE VORKKEN.

YOU FINALLY HELD UP YOUR END OF THAT PROMISE, BLUNDER RED

WHAT DID YOU SAY, ABOUT THE STRONG LENDING A HAND?

>villain is hilarious and a threat to nobody

Powerpuff Girls was never good.

>incompetent villain becomes a real threat

's...First mate...Chuugi! And company.

You know, I've been meaning to do a side-by-side image of Ludo on his throne pre- and post- In The Wild; never got around to it though.

Shut up dummy.

youtube.com/watch?v=57YW1ihsUlQ

>fight through that gauntlet of the hardest enemies in the game alongside the Galactic Rangers (who are now actually competent and badass)
>Round 2 with Nefarious
>That missle move
>That beam move
>THAT FUCKING MULTIPLE AFTERIMAGE ROOM
>beat him
>Oh man, that was really tough, but I know he's got something up his sleeve
>Activates the Biobliterater
>Yes!
>Qwark shows up
>YES!
>hop in the hovership and fight alongside Qwark
>YEEESSSSSS!

>actual fight is piss easy and Qwark doesn't actually do anything
>y...yeah...woo

Mean Green Mother From Outer Space

This show heals my soul everytime I see an episode

Love this sort of shit. The intro to a show getting "hijacked" by the villain immediately tells you this shit's gonna be wild. Of course a GOAT show like Brave and the Bold would do one.

The JoJo Part 3 & 4 anime have really raised the bar on this kind of thing. The final version of Great Days that goes backwards through the whole thing again and totally changes the meaning of a lot of the visual metaphors in the normal OP is incredible.

>hero and villain are good friends, fights are "just business"

>tfw you listened to the full version of Great Days and it ripped you off that was probably going to happen

>Character is bogstandard cliche but are written so entertainingly that they loop back around into immensely enjoyable

I remember Teen Titans did the theme hijack with the HIVE in the "Light Speed" episode.

I can't really think of anymore right now.

Teen Titans did another one when the 5th Dimension Robin showed up. He did a goofy hijack where he sang the Japanese version of the theme.

Chuckles the silly piggy opening.

Slade in Teen Titans

Man that game had amazing voice acting.

>WE MEET AGAIN!

BLUNDER
RED

I loved that he insisted that everything he creates must have a self-destruct button.

THE STRONG STAND TALL

THE WEEK KNEEL

SUCH IS THE LAW OF THE UNIVERSE

>Powerpuff Girls was never good.

Fuck off. First three Seasons were God Tier.

>team defeats the villain by sequentially pulling off their trademark attacks
youtube.com/watch?v=ZKUrWCXuuXQ

Too bad he was only a threat because everyone else was being retarded.

The likes of that Luthor is the reason I despise this.

REAL CORN MAKES IT SPECIAL

>Joke villain is tired of being a joke villain and becomes a huge threat.
Or my personal favorite
>Villain is an incredibly intimidating/powerful being.
>Is casually depicted doing normal sedintary things or being caught in the act of just enjoying their free time.

>Joke villain is tired of being a joke villain and becomes a huge threat.
Avengers Arena ruined this for me. Now it leaves bad taste in my mouth.

NAME 2

Xiolin Showdown had a bad future where Jack ruled the world and had Chase and the other villains on a torture chamber.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like infamous 2 was complete dog shit besides the ending.

Nox from Wakfu has had some lasting impressions on the Brotherhood.

>Villain is clearly the thirstiest nigga in all or Pahrie

>Still haven't watched the finale

My heart couldn't handle it, Sup Forums.
