Rome

Is this show worth watching?

I'm into Roman history but I've never gotten around to checking it out

Yes, it's a great show. Season one is top TV kino. Season two is a bit rushed but still good.

>Is this show worth watching?
yes. watch it now.

probably one of the best fantasy shows ever made

>TRUE ROMAN KINO
>FOR TRUE ROMANS

Season 1 is brilliant, although season 2 focuses far more on personal drama than historical stuff, so it's less interesting.

Also, the casting for some characters is absolutely on point, like the guys who play Mark Antony and Cicero. Also, Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus are the most based protags in TV history.

Thanks, I'll give it a watch

You won't regret it, it's a masterpiece through and through.

Rome could have been the best television show ever produced. I will never get over how it was gimped. NEVER. EVERYONE RESPONSIBLE SHOULD BE KILLED.

I, Claudius is better

Yes.

Salve citizen

No, it’s pleb schlock.

And now we have GOT. Truly we are living in a nightmare.

The first season is great but it loses the plot and rushes the second season.

So close to realizing the meme....so close...

First season: Fucking amazing
Second Season: ok, that's enough, thanks for closure.

very gaullish looking fellow altogether

>mommy issues
>calls his political opponents cucks
>lost his virginity to a prostitute
>obsessed with the purity of his nation's women
>fucked his sister

Find me a character more representative of this board than him, Sup Forums

If you're into Roman history, it will make your brain hurt. Just treat it as a d20 Past campaign with two not very bright PCs and relax.

Pretty much how I approach all "historical" shows

Ignore season 2 after the episode where Brutus dies. The rest is a shitty Sopranos ripoff.
