This shit really fucked me up and made me think about my ex, we dated for like 4 years and had that same youthful and innocent (naive) belief we'd wind up together even though she moved across the country

Of course now I drown my sorrow in roasties and drugs so I don't wind up killing myself

Can't wait for the television special when you're old, full of regret, and borderline senile.

I’ll watch it.

Well yeah but at least I didn't cheat on her and basically choose a meme career over her like Bill did

>do ay look like a stahlllllllllker?

I did like the "why did she say she does't know you? did you stalk her?" misdirection in the trailer.

Can someone give me rundown on the escort storyline? I turned it off when he was asking her out on a date, it was too hard for me to watch

He pretty much just keeps taking her out on dates, furthest he goes is kissing her in a shitty motel room for an hour

dont be a pussy man up and watch it faggot

Shame that it's scripted though.

here i go digging in again

it's not

I'm gonna marry your wife, do you understand English?

Sure, bud.

This episode was way too genuine to be scripted.

Holy shit this is an hour and a half?

Yes and not a second too long.

It's the other way around.

how can people be this gullible?

It's worth watching

>being a contrarian

user you glorious bastard you just made my night

poring the wiskey and notifying the old man now. Bout to settle in for a night of keks

>Can someone give me rundown on the escort storyline?
Well Nathans whole show is about helping small business and that's what this episode was really about

macidelavon.com/

She's going on a massive tour of the USA btw

I might have enjoyed this, but dishonest filmmaking isn't my jam.

how is nathan dishonest show making?

God fricking damn it, what is the song Nathan was jamming to in the hotel room with an escort?

probably something from a royalty free stock music site

I refuse to believe any hollywood producer/writer could think that up. They fuck up movies/shows based on comic books. If that was scripted then bill would have been a minority and it would finish with everyone getting together and a happy ending.

Nathan told Bill he was going to set him up with a date with her to clear his mind. That was just a ploy for Nathan to use thousands of Comedy Central dollars on an escort for his own use. Bill cheated on Frances and left her for Hollywood. Nathan realizes he did the exact same thing and that he doesn't want to die alone. He gets attached to the escort and tries to turn the cameras off to make it a real relationship and she denies him. The drone shot pans out with Nathan out of character and destraught surrounded by a camera crew.

Anyone who's not a retard knows that these "reality" type shows are scripted.

Watch the episode bro.

This isn't a reality show. It's essentially a cringe comedy prank show styled like some Bar Rescue garbage.

take a break from Sup Forums faggot
it's rotting your brain
I did "bro"

it's the same guy commenting about the show being fake over and over again with no proof

Bill just wanted to fill her gaps

Kys reddit

This would be even more impressive if it was scripted.

>he thinks a radiologist wouldn't notice someone smuggling something in under their shirt

Not an argument and It's true... If it were scripted then you could easily tell. Some parts would of been slightly scripted but the majority wasn't.

If you truly browsed Sup Forums then you would know.

Someone post the plate breaking webm for this fucking moron.

Radiologists don't give you a pat down. Want to try again, faggot?

>implying the doctor would even care

that only proves they edited that scene down. Nathan probably broke more than one plate

youtube.com/watch?v=H7YfxqgOcyg

i want to believe

I'm some genius move that either came out of pure accident or Nathan has developed some true Machiavellian planning skills, he started the perfect bookend for the entire journey.

Basically, while out of clues and without Bill to hang out, Nathan got lonely and really infatuated with Maci.
At the end when Bill was maybe developing something with the old actress, it inspired him to pursue her, only to discover their relationship only happened because of the cameras. It's not a real thing.

Following either again, genius planning or really breaking out of character, he asks for a drone shot to perfectly wrap up the episode and maybe series. With Nathan holding hands with a woman he likes but isn't going to give him anything genuine.

it's honest. there's been a few times, like Dumb Starbucks, where the press have caught onto Nathan pulling his pranks without anybody even knowing that it's Nathan behind the curtain.

this, and the goat saving the pig

Doesn't he sing the same royalty-free music that he plays in Gas Station Rebate in a YouTube video from 10 years ago?

>The entire subplot of Nathan and the escort both going on fake relationships for the camera
pure fucking kino jesus christ just give him the emmy's already

>drone shot reveals the camera crew around them and reality sets in

>Bill trying to kill bee
did they get writers from Breaking Bad?

He spends over $2000 on dates with her (and a flight from LA to Little Rock to see her)

It's crazy cause she said she knew he would make it to Hollywood and be on camera someday and here he is, his prophecy coming true at age like 75

Never seen this show. tl;dr on this old man and the kino claims?

Literally just go watch it, it's great

I haven't seen the new episode, but the show generally is a prank show disguised as like a "pimp your ride" fixer-upper reality show where this awkward guy tries to help people's businesses by thinking up the most batshit stupid solutions possible and sees if they work. The most famous one is where he helps an up-and-coming coffee shop gain brand recognition by naming it "Dumb Starbucks", and using parody law to get away with infringing on Starbucks's trademark. It ended up becoming a national story.

This episode has nothing to do with business except for helping Maci become a high-class, internationally-known prostitute.

OK i finally watched it after seeing it spammed here for days. HOLY FUCK that was absolute pure distilled concentrated KinOë. Everything about it, the human condition, man's inhumanity to man and himself. What a fucking trip. 10/10.

Are season 1 and 2 worth watching?

The whole show is really consistent. This season's finale was the highlight of the season but the first two seasons are better overall. If you liked what you saw at all you'll like the rest of the show.

yes all episodes are great

In season 2 episode 6 Nathan reveals that he’s writing his screen play titled “looking for Susan” I swear if this entire episode is some callback to this I would lose my shit.

>I am, for all intensive purposes, a small business
DROPPED

Was that the name of his wife for 2 days back in 2014, the Canadian children's librarian?

giv maci gf

>He gets attached to the escort and tries to turn the cameras off to make it a real relationship and she denies him. The drone shot pans out with Nathan out of character and destraught surrounded by a camera crew.

But that's not what happened, she asked him to turn the cameras off.

What plate breaking scene are you talking about?

If he felt genuine feelings for her, he wouldn't have shown up with the film crew to begin with. It's a pleasant theory though

What struck me most about this episode is how often the real Nathan came out of him, especially when dealing with Bill.

In the antique store episode Nathan breaks a plate as he leaves the store for the last time. But the plate he breaks and the plate he picked up in the shot before they cut to him breaking it aren't the same. Obviously this means the entire show is scripted and nothing real happens on it /s

Yeah, him patting Bill on the shoulder when they get the yearbook and Bill sees Frances for the first time in decades felt more human than anything Nathan had ever done on the show before.

Ok, damn, you're right. Pure cringe kino. Worth every minute.

lmao at the middle i was fast forwarding it and only watched the bits isolated. i thought DROPPED.jpg once i saw nathan with the hot chick.

today i actually watched it in context and holy shit it was painful

...

They probably just told her that Nathan was going to break a plate for the final shot. Doesn't prove that it's scripted, and obviously Nathan's part in the show is planned.

jam a knife in your twat

Nathan explained before in an interview that the person he portrays on the show is basically him, just cranked up a bit. I think the whole premise of his show is to blur the lines between his real self and the show self. Its pretty easy to see him legitimately falling for her, she's very sweet and intimate

>he gets her to basically do the "again" bit with him but role-reversed

...oh

This episode is cringe kino. You want to watch it on a full-size monitor.

Preferably in a room where you can pace every time you need to pause it.

Phoneposting scum

>where you can pace every time you need to pause it
pussy

Guys i'm mid-episode and taking a break it's too taxing on my nerves. I have a question:
Is the qt escort real? Can i book her?

You're in luck? I guess?

>that phone call

should I actually watch this? Sup Forums tricked me into watching the uber episode and that was pretty meh

The eternal question: Should he have gone to her door instead?

If you didn't like the marriage portion of the Uber episode, you probably won't like this one.

It will fuck you up emotionally. This is not a joke. Seriously don't do it unless your life is in order

anyone else things that this segment kinda gave ole Bill a bit of closure. Like he always wanted to be an actor and always wanted to get closure with his lost love and he kinda did both. He became a star of his own cross country odyssey and finally got to see what became of his lost love.

Thats honestly more than 90% of society can say they accomplished, like think of all the wage slaves of medieval merchants that live and die forgotten not even living a modicum of their dream. For a few weeks Bill got to go adventuring on television on his own personal quest. He got to be a real life TV star with a tragic end.

I only watched one episode episode of the show before this and thought it was boring but this was an emotional roller coaster.

Frances at 28 was heartbroken, had a failed marriage and poor prospects.
Bill at 28 was handsome, sleeping with other women, and pursuing an acting career & fame in L.A.

Fast forward 50 years. She has had a happy full life and will die surrounded by her children and grandchildren. He's a sad old fuck that can't even face his own failures with dignity.
Makes you think

>Of course now I drown my sorrow in roasties and drugs so I don't wind up killing myself

sort yourself out instead my friend

Was Maci right? Is Nathan a meanie using weak people for personal profit?

His whole show is about sarcastically fucking with people, you can decide whether or not that's mean.

The show is not fucking scripted, I hate retards repeating this fake news meme

not really I will give you the top 10 basic gestalt eps

1. Electronic store
2. Dumb Starbucks
3. The Movement
4. Finding Frances (tentative)
5. Gas Station rebate
6. Smokers Allowed
7. Antique Shop
8. Uber
9. Private detective
10. Pet store

What are you on anons? She is an escort of course it isn't real/genuine, cameras or not

The wisdom drop in the scene where Bill meets the actress for a drink at the end...man, that was deep

>The eternal question: Should he have gone to her door instead?
Yes he should. His phone call was pure cringe and worse than anything i've ever seen Nathan himself doing. It was both devastating and humiliating seeing his fragile ego shattered.
