Elric himself was never really an edgelord. Cruel at times? Yeah but not edgy. His entire race were people who routinely mutilated their slave's vocal cords so they could scream/sing at a single pitch. He turned out to be quite a decent guy for all the shit he had to put up with.

Fair nuff. I do appreciate how this adaptation gives Cymorill more of an active role in the plot with her being the person in charge of sustaining Elric with potions and blood sacrifices.

What i do think was missing were a few more scenes detailing their romance. What we got gets the point across just fine but it's a personal preference.
