OP here, I did watch the first episode. I thought it was really boring, and a superficial cry for nostalgia. It could have improved from there but then Normals jumped on it and I wanted nothing to do with it.

Meanwhile, millions of old people don't give a shit about watching any particular show and just channel surf until they find something innocuous to eat dinner in front of. And the thing they usually find is Steve Harvey or Pat Sajak since those mother fuckers are on TV every night of the week. Family Feud plays about ten times a day.
