No

They're perfect

...

Some dude on youtube already did and I think he nailed it. Doesn't matter now, star wars is dead.

>mention Yoda but never show him
>make the clone wars more like Vietnam and WWII and not about a bunch of stormtroopers fighting against robots, put more average humans like that "i was in the clone wars" rebel from Episode 4
>somehow make it look like Vader REALLY killed Anakin, as if they are 2 different people, but drop subtle hints to how they might be the same person
>Sheev is perfect, leave him the way he is, including the Sheevspin
>no Midichlorians
>no gratuitous use of the Force all over the place, keep the Force mysterious

i fucking hate star wars. All of them. I hate episode 4 where nothing fucking happens and you have to root for the soyboy faggot luke and his faggot robots and the Obi Wan faggot and all the shitty bar aliens and the small desert aliens fuck all this outdated puppet shit and fuck the gay plot about gay space magic where nothing happens and there is no exposition and it's all fucking stupid nerd shit. I hate episode 5 and the fucking boring rebel battle sequence that was impressive in the 70's but looks shit now. I hate fucking Yoda. Fuck that faggot. I fucking hate that nigger with the funny name and I fucking hate the retarded light saber fight that looked shit and the shitty plot. So the empire struck back by destroying some shit tier rebel base big fucking whoop and nobody gives a fuck. Also episode 6 was the shittiest and I hate fucking Han Solo and tantooine and the fucking ewoks and the faggot emperor who gets no character development and fucking darth vader for cucking and selling out his boss for no fucking reason. Fuck them all the characters are all shit there is no plot it's all special effects for fucking children and that's all it ever was. More than anything I hate star wars fans and people who talk about the star wars. Fuck these people they are a cult and I'm positive that most of them just pretend to like it to fit into society and the nu male beta video game playing subculture. Fuck you star wars fans I hate this entire fucking series I always hated the entire series and I always hated you faggots. As a child I watched the prequel shit, ok I thought Jar Jar Binks was ok, the light saber fight was not bad I gave it meh 6/10 then my faggot older brother being a smug faggot told me to watch the original star wars I looked at that shit it was fucking gay what the fuck am I supposed to be looking at here you fucking faggot I asked b-but muh plot muh character development but muh are you fucking kidding me faggot fuck all you star wars fags

I have this theory that there's only one user in the whole of Sup Forums that uses the word "soyboy" and is desperately trying to force it as a new meme.

>anakin is a cool charming guy

fpbp, and on the same vein I'd say first episode best episode if you know what'm saying, do you know what I mean?

Episode 1 is really good, I don't have much respect for people who didn't like it, as if the rest of Star Wars is so much better. Only for people who liked it or who don't like Star Wars in general.

agree with these. would also add:
>do not have jedi training be day care with toddlers and miniature lightsabers
>have Anakin and Obi Wan have a more believable friendship
>have Obi Wan as the main character
>need a large and believable enough conflict such that a population would give dictatorial powers to Sheev instead of the BS we got

You are right, I always felt like Obi Wan and Anakin were supposed to be "friends" only because Obi Wan said so. But I guess it could be interpreted as Obi Wan being a bad friend rather than bad writing.
Or the actors just having bad chemistry.

How they find Anakin:
>Obi Wan's ship crashes and he's barely conscious in the middle of a sandstorm
>We hear a very familiar sounding breathing mask
>a young man picks up Obi Wan on his back lets him use the breathing mask
>we find out the young man is of course Anakin and he takes Obi Wan to his home for shelter

I think a good addition would be to make Mace Windu a kind of the-ends-justify-the-means Jedi, perhaps even a Sith or ex-Sith.
I'd have the purer, more idealistic Obi-wan compete with the grounded, more pragmatic Mace Windu for the way Anakin swings with Anakin eventually cutting straight through Obi-wan's crap but going even further down Mace Windu's and realising that with enormous power he and a group of trusted people really good bring more stability and order to the galaxy.
That way Vader could truly be "seduced" by the dark side.

Link video

>Episode One
Remove Qui-gon and have Obi-wan find a slightly older, orphaned Anakin Skywalker whom he trains in the ways of the force as he investigates suspicious happenings (a cloaked figure has been killing select political figures on Naboo to sow social discord).

Based on Obi in 4-6, I think its safe to assume that they were actually friends. Lucas just shat the bed on the writing of the prequels and had Anakin be a bitchy teenager who gets mad at Obi for no reason.
I think if they were portrayed as of similar age, maybe Anakin is a trader or something and runs into Obi on a mission and they develop their friendship there. And then Obi suggests that Anakin train to be a Jedi.
Idk just anything than what we got desu

I remember there being a video/article that basically stated Episode I was unnecessary and some of it could have been put into what would be two stronger movies. I agree with that. Plus keep a single villain throughout, Maul I'd assume.

Watch Episode I first. If I could kickstart his vision of the prequels, I would.

I still think they should’ve had a literal another “Darth Vader” like the suit comes with the title

Really the prequel trilogy has one job “keeping the twist that Luke is the son of Vader” whole also expanding the universe.

The clone wars should have had some weight that seeing endless faceless stormtroopers fighting endless faceless droids

Anakin should have been discovered by the Jedi while already drafted/whatever into this conflict. Make him a “good guy” make him someone who pilots a ship that takes the wounded out of whatever war zone the republic’s in... make Star Wars blue collar again.

I always wondered what was the deal with the prequels since the episodes had numbers. Sorry for my ignorance but when did they give numbers to the movies? Was it before the prequels were announced? Or after?
If it was after I guess the prequels were always only meant to be seen after the OT. But yeah I would have liked it if they would still hide the twists.

I'm sure people care a lot about your respect.

Nobody truly cares about anything.

Cont.
about 5 years back when I was fanediting for fun... No real end goal. But there’s really only one instance in the prequels where palpatine called Dooku, Tyrannis.... I took some audio from episode 3 and suddenly “excellent work, Darth {Vader}” hits you like a ton of bricks... it’s the same in episode one, I think maul is only referred to as ‘maul’ once... so making Darth Vader a title of “the one who is palpatine’s apprentice” kinda makes decent lore?

The original film did not have an episode number. When Empire Strikes Back came out, it had Episode V in the opening crawl, making it the first numbered episode. Obviously this meant three other films were supposed to come out later, telling the story we got in the prequels.

The originals had numbers from 1979-ish when they re-released “4”, and it was suddenly called “a new hope”

I see, thanks. I wasn't sure if it was like that or if they only added the numbers for the "special editions".

>Anakin is main character from the get go. He's older, closer to a dark reflection of Luke. Make Padme loving him believable
>Darth Maul lives. He recruits Dooku to do the Clone War separatist thing while secretly training him to be his apprentice when Maul decides to move on Sheev
>keep Midichlorians, Separatist conflict. Emphasize the flaws in the Republic and the Jedi.
>Padme begins the rebellion.
>no Jar Jar

combine maul and dooku

start with anakin as a teenager

Movie one: The clone wars have already started, except maul/dooku is the leader of the clones (who were still funded by sidious) and they are the antagonists of the films. The war is not going well for the republic and Jedi Knights Qui'gon jin and obiwan kenobi are fleeing a lost battle, with clone forces sent by maul hot on their heels. Their forces and them set up a small base camp on tattooine while they wait for reinforcements. There they meet a young, hotheaded podracer named anakin skywalker.

Now, in this alternate reality of the prequels, the jedi aren't weird celibate space catholics so Qui'gon jin is actually from a planet called Naboo and has a daughter, Padme.

The story should also give much more time to maul, and show his frustration in his inability to locate the two hidden jedi knights. In a holo-meeting with sidious he is informed of quigons connection to the planet naboo and is ordered to personally attack the planet with his elite fleet. Their his sith intuition reveals padma to him, and he takes her captive. Upon learning of this Qui'gon wants to attempt a rescue with the forces under his command but Obiwan advises against it, saying that following his feelings will only bring ruin upon quigon and those around him, perhaps even the fate of the war, but quigon does not heed this advice and leads their forces, and a skeptical obiwan and eager-to-help anakin in tow.

Que the rescue attempt, quigon is still killed by maul, but now it has more emotional impact as it was to save his own daughter. Obi'wan is injured in his fight with maul, but does not defeat him and is miraculously saved by anakin, who picks up quigons lightsaber and holds off maul just long enough for more republic forces to arrive, forcing mauls retreat.

In honor of his fallen friend, Obi'wan vowes to take in the teenaged padme and, impressed by anakins fight, vows to train him as a jedi.

que credits

Obi-Wan is already a full jedi master and Anakin starts as a teenager who has already been training with Obi-Wan for years instead of a first grader.

The "Clone Wars" isn't about clones vs robots, it's about a clone of a high-ranking official/royal guy appearing and claiming to be the the true guy, which causes a schism and civil war which ultimately leads into the empire. There are no clone troopers or robot armies and only regular people are fighting so we actually give a shit.

C3P0 and R2D2 do not appear at all. Chewbacca doesn't either.

Episode 1 begins with showing Naboo (and the republic) in a time of peace and Padme as the beloved princess of Naboo. We are also introduced to Anakin, a poor teenage boy living on Tatooine who works in a spaceship garage type place. A pilot from Naboo tells Anakin some adventure stories and sort of teaches him how to fly his ship. We are then also introduced to the powerful sith lord Palpatine and the separatists secret clone army being created on Mustafar. As the pilot character returns to Naboo, he runs into some stray separatist fighters and defeats them in a quick space battle after being attacked. Concerned, he quickly returns to Naboo to warn the planet of a possible oncoming attack. However, Naboo’s defense forces are easily defeated by Palpatine’s massive clone army which is being led by Darth Maul. Maul breaks into the royal palace and murders the king and queen before Padme escapes. The pilot character finds Padme and realizes that he must get her off the planet. They do, but not after badly damaging the ship and the pilot decides to make an emergency landing back at Tatooine. We are then introduced to the jedi temple which exists on a lush, green planet. The jedi sense a disturbance in the force and contact the senate who is scrambling to get an army mobilized. Two jedi (Obi-wan and Qui-gon) are tasked with finding Padme on Tatooine. The murderous Maul is also after Padme despite orders from Palpatine not to bother with her. Padme and the pilot are attacked by tuskan raiders and the pilot becomes badly injured. They are saved, however, by Anakin who exhibits an obvious sensitivity to the force. Anakin takes them both back to his home where he lives with his sick mother. Padme reveals her situation to Anakin and they are shown to have a romantic interest in each other. Anakin decides to take Padme out on the town for a little fun while Anakin’s mother tells the pilot of how her son has some kind of special power...

Obi'won Kenobi isn't in the first movie. Instead it is Jedi Dooku and Qui'gon Jin. Instead of Pod Racing. Dooku uses darkside powers to get them what they need on tatoonie and take Anakin with them. Anakin is readily accepted into the jedi order and is left to train with the other younglings. dooku and qui'gon battle maul on naboo. dooku's use of dark side power eventually causes him to clash with qui'gon. dooku kills qui'gon and maul. blames qui'gon's death on maul. dooku leaves the jedi order.

obi'wan starts movie 2 looking into the attempted assassination on senator padme. anakin is also on a secret assignment posing as one of padme's escort fighter pilots. end of act 2 anakin reveals he is a jedi knight to obi'wan.

Maul eventually tracks down their home and breaks in, murdering both the mother and pilot and lighting the house on fire. Anakin and Padme return to this scene but are saved at the last moment by the two Jedi. A lightsaber duel commences and Anakin watches in amazement from afar. Maul retreats when he realizes that he’s outnumbered and the jedi find Padme to take her to Coruscant with them. Anakin pleads to them to take him as well since he has no life on Tatooine anymore. The jedi sense that he may be force sensitive and agree that he can come along. On Coruscant, we see the republic is just about ready to send out an army to Naboo to be led by some jedi. Padme pleads to allow her to fight with the army and her people but the senate denies this request. Padme then convinces the two Jedi and Anakin to help her return to Naboo to seek help from an ancient alien race called the gungans who live in Naboo’s oceans. They ultimately agree and are able to avoid separatist detection and land on a remote part of the planet. They find a few gungans on land who are confused by their presence and capture them (the jedi allow this to happen). They are placed in these bubble things and the gungans swim down to their city to present them to that fat slut king guy. He is the only one to understand them and agrees to help with the battle. Meanwhile, the republic is overwhelmed by the clone army and is clearly losing. Then, from up out of the water, a massive army of gungans appear with Padme leading the way. The tide is turned in the republic’s favor and another lightsaber duel between Maul and some jedi happens and Qui-gon is killed, whatever. Eventually, Maul escapes but the republic is victorious. The jedi masters decide to have Anakin be trained by Obi-wan and there is a massive celebration where Padme is crowned Queen Bitch.

the cartoon had the character down correctly

Episode 2 begins with Anakin and Obi-wan fighting in a clone wars battle. Anakin is fighting in space with the fighter pilots and Obi-wan on the planet with the ground troops. I’m imagining this takes up like the first 20 minutes of the movie and I’m getting a little lazy here but it’s action and star wars magic etc. The battle is won and Anakin and Obi-wan reconvene and bro hug or bro slap. Anakin is then told to return to the Jedi temple for important business but he decides to visit Padme on Naboo first. His visit is quick and sweet and he tells Padme that he most likely going to be knighted at the temple. Padme is ecstatic for him but is reminded by a handmaiden after he leaves that she is planning on marrying someone else. It has been decided by the planet’s top politicians that Padme should marry a royal suitor for financial reasons after the massive battle gutted the war-torn planet’s economy. She decides to tell Anakin this on his next visit. Anakin arrives at the temple and is given one last test in some sort of weird forest or cave like when Luke fights that vision of Vader in Empire. Anakin similarly defeats a vision of Maul and is shocked to see a scarred and mutilated version of his own body on the ground after his victory. Anakin eventually passes this final test and is knighted by the jedi order. He once again travels to Naboo to tell Padme the good news when she tells him about the suitor. Padme attempts to convince Anakin that their relationship was not built to last but this only angers Anakin. He then murders a bunch of little kids (just kidding)...

They find anakin as a teenager. Done movie improved we can all go home.

Anakin must leave to help Obi-wan in another battle but he makes rash and angry decisions throughout, ultimately costing the republic a key strategic point. Scenes of the suitor courting Padme around Naboo are intercut with the battle as Anakin is shown to be in emotional distress. Obi-wan scolds Anakin for his behavior during the battle forcing Anakin to open up about Padme. Obi-wan tells Anakin to be careful and to meditate on this situation and his emotions. Anakin contemplates to a kick-ass 80s rock ballad and decides to visit Padme one last time to mend things over while Obi-wan goes to battle against a Maul led army. At Naboo, it is accidentally revealed to Anakin that Padme is pregnant with his child. Distraught over this news, Anakin walks off and eventually runs into the suitor. A confrontation ensues, with Anakin stabbing the suitor with his lightsaber in a fit of rage. The royal guards arrest Anakin without resistance. Meanwhile, Obi-wan wins the battle against Maul when Maul once again disobeys Palpatine’s orders. Palpatine is tired of Maul and believes he is weak and disobedient and decides to set his sights on a potential new apprentice. Anakin is throw in prison and expelled from the jedi order. Obi-wan and Padme are ashamed and abandon him during this time but he is able to daringly escape with the help of some of his most loyal soldiers. The disgraced Anakin decides to hide out for the time being.

Episode 3 begins with Anakin and a group of soldiers freeing people from ruthless slavers on a scummy junkyard planet. It’s a heroic act but Anakin finishes off the slavers in a brutal way that goes against his jedi teachings. It’s been a couple years since the events in episode 2 and Anakin has assembled a mercenary team of some of his former soldiers, two or three rogue jedi, and a few gangsters-for-hire. He has just received information as to the secret whereabouts of Palpatine and plans to ambush the base with his team. We later find out that this information was leaked on purpose by Palpatine as part of a set-up for Anakin. Meanwhile, a depressed Obi-wan continues to fight in the clone wars, which is dragging everyone down physically and emotionally. Padme has secretly gotten married to a different royal suitor and has twins, Luke and Leia (both Anakin’s though). Anyways, Anakin has become maniacal and, despite serious reservations from the rest of his team, truly believes they can successfully ambush a separatist base. Anakin believes that if he can kill Palpatine then he can win back Padme and become a Jedi again. The team reaches the base and begins to fight their way through but it doesn’t go well. Eventually, everyone except Anakin is killed. He makes his way to a dark arena-like room where Maul steps out of the shadows. Palpatine watches in darkness from above as Anakin defeats Maul and savagely kills him. Palpatine comes down to congratulate Anakin and offers him a role as his new apprentice. Anakin, of course, moves to attack Palpatine but is swiftly defeated. Multiple limbs are cut off and he is fiercely electrocuted. His injuries force Palpatine to put him in the famous Vader suit. Palpatine hopes that his suit will be a constant reminder of his easy defeat and of the power of the dark side. Anakin is then indoctrinated while recovering from his injuries and ultimately relents, turning to the dark side himself...

fun fan-fic, i would watch it

He is given the new name of Darth Vader. We then cut to Obi-wan who feels a great disturbance in the force, causing him to lose focus and also an important battle. The tide is clearly turning against the republic and their resources are depleting. The new Vader is then given his first mission which is to lead a massive attack on Coruscant. The separatists gain control of the planet and of the central government, effectively winning the war. Palpatine arrives and announces the new galactic empire. Vader is then sent to destroy the jedi temple and to kill the last remaining jedi. The jedi have been weakened by the war and their numbers are dwindling. The temple is destroyed and set ablaze, which is the backdrop for Vader’s lightsaber duel with Obi-wan. At some point during their duel, Obi-wan realizes that Vader is Anakin and he decides to escape. With the temple destroyed and all but a few jedi killed, Vader goes to find Padme on Naboo. Vader’s monstrous presence frightens Padme and she refuses to believe that it’s Anakin. Vader kidnaps Luke, believing Luke to be his only child. Obi-wan tracks Vader from afar and follows him to Tatooine. Luke is taken to some distant Skywalker family (uncle owen and aunt beru obvs). It’s the early morning, but still dark out, and Vader is a foreboding presence against the dark early morning desert sky. He gives Luke to Uncle Owen without saying anything and leaves. As he is about to enter his ship to leave, he looks towards the distant spying Obi-wan, as if he is aware of his presence. Our final shots are of Vader’s ship flying off and of Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru holding baby Luke as they look out over the binary sunrise.

I left to go get dinner, thanks for linking it my dood.

>Anikan is not the chosen one but simply a strong but vain force weilder
>the jedi are less monks and more samuri/spartans
>yoda is the leader of a small faction within the jedi who want the jedi to be more like the are in the original trilogy, while Mace or someone like Mace is a part of the millitaristic spartan faction
>Obi wan is a part of yoda's faction, and this causes problems with Anikan (a glory seeker) who wants to be a part of the millitaristic
>the movies have progressivly people in the galaxy protesting against them, episode one having a fringe movement of a few crazies and episode 3 having millions of people protesting against the jedi
>palpatine would get into power by playing both pro-war and pro-peace factions by saying he would end the war quickly with the total distruction of the C.I.S
>Darth Maul is gone, replaced by 3 episodes of Count Duuko as the secondary main antagonist for the series
>All episodes focus more on the war and war politics instead of only 2 episodes. Episode one starts as a declaration of war from the C.I.S and their attacks on the uprepared jedi/republic, which causes the millitaristic jedi to temporaroly side with palpatine to push for formation of clones

good

this nigga loved the avengers

You have autism

>Anakin is older
>no Qui-Gon, only Obi-Wan
>their duel is two times shorter, less dancing and more dramatic
>Alderaan instead of Naboo to make us care about it's destruction
>no midichlorians, force is something really unknown even to jedi
>real extras as clone soldiers in most scenes, more ww2 vibes from battles
>droid army more like machines in terminator and less like comic relief

I just finished watching his take on all 3 episodes, despite some flaws I think it's a very good way of keeping it thematically tied to the classic trilogy, which is what I think most people wanted from the prequels anyway.

The thing is, I really think George knew about all this when he was writing the prequels, but went with his odd direction specifically because he wanted to stray from the influence of the classic trilogy, but imo it made them worse movies for doing it.

Why?

Digits confirm.

So basically Rogue One? Fuck off. What makes the Prequels great is their operatic nature.

I'd have Anakin's story be similar to Luke's: he starts out as an average Joe on Tatooine who wants to escape the farmer's life and enlist in the Republic Army. When Obi-Wan's ship crashes near his backyard one day, he jumps at the opportunity to escape the planet and offers to become his new pilot, dragging Owen with him on a trip to one of the Core Worlds. Anakin later finds out that Obi-Wan has been sent by the Jedi to investigate both the disappearance of the Alderaan Princess and rumors of a "clone army". He realises that Anakin has a lot of Force potential, and he tells Anakin that he's interested in training him. Owen remains wary.
Obi-Wan finds out that a Seperatist unit, with the aid of a Sith Lord named Maul, has taken control of experimental cloning technology that could potentially turn the tide of the war in their favor, and that they intend to use the Princess as a bargaining chip against the Republic. To keep Maul busy, he confronts Maul and challenges him to a lightsaber duel while Anakin and Owen rescue the Princess. Obi-Wan eventually defeats Maul, but Maul manages to escape.

So after that, the Clone Wars begin and Anakin becomes a Jedi. Yoda(who's unseen) and the Jedi Council don't want to train him because he's too old, so Obi-Wan decides to do it himself, over-confidently believing that he can train someone as well as Yoda can. Meanwhile, Anakin's eagerness to better himself and help out in the war effort turns into a desire to become as powerful as possible in order to end the conflict, which then turns into a want to use his power to "protect" everyone in the galaxy, no matter what it takes. Naturally, Senator Palpatine of Alderaan, who helps to arrange secret meetings for Anakin and Padme, takes full advantage of this.

(1/2)

Maybe Anakin and Owen have a big fight in either the second or third film, in which Owen has gotten PTSD and wants to go home, while Anakin thinks Owen is being a coward by turning his back on the citizens. This is the last time they see each other; Owen goes AWOL and ends up bearing a grudge against Anakin and Obi-Wan for the rest of his life.

Maybe to mirror the ending of RotJ, have the Emperor realise that Padme is still alive on Alderaan and send his spies to kidnap her and take her to his lair. He then uses his Force Lightning to kill her in front of Vader, because the Emperor wants to know if Vader is strong enough in the dark side to not betray him upon seeing a loved one in pain.

Also, I'd have the third film end in such a way that the audience is unsure whether Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker are different people or not, in order to retain at least some form of surprise in the original trilogy.

(2/2)

Boba Fett isn't a clone and is VO'd by Michael Biehn

>>Qui Gon's daughter gets kidnapped
You just want to shoehorn Liam Neeson doing his "Taken" speech into everything, don't you.

They don't need to be rewritten as much as they need to be refilmed, reworked into a final draft, and directed by someone more engaged.

I'd make Anakin become Vader at the end of episode 1 or 2 and we'd have significant screen time of him being Vader before all the robotics.

you're a homo that doesn't understand the character.

We got a T.S. Elliot over here

That Boba Fett wasn't the same character in the prequels, just as mysterious, and was instead some shitty kid was an unforgivable sin to me, even as a child.

man star wars was a such a nice idea done so wrong so aesthetic and new
its such a pos now
and disney gonna milk star wars dry

How is a young, untrained boy gonna hold his own long enough against a sith lord? I get it they would eventually be rescued but a sith would kill him in seconds. thats even more unbelievable than the last fight in TFA

>Anakin starts out as a street thug
>Uses the force to run a gang.
>Uses the force to steal from Qui Gin and Obi Wan
>They look into him, go to his house, try to recruit him as a Jedi, he tells them to fuck off
>Annie bites into a drug deal that too big for him to chew
>Qui Gon bails him out
>Word gets out that a Jedi is meddling in sidious' drug business
>Sends high level thug maul to take care of the Jedi and annakins family
>an effort between anakin and the Jedi to save his family, along with seeing all this raw senseless gang violence sets Annie straight and he decides to become a jedi

How about if maul was severely injured by quigon or obiwan first, or anakin never faces maul but displays surprising leadership capabilities by organizing the despatate rescue of obiwan, and he shows up with republic forces just before obiwan was slain?

That would show his natural progression as a leader of troops during the clone wars

This wouldn't work. If he already has a moral base unaffected by the force, he would never be seduced to the darkside.

Which is exact reason Lucas starts so young and with so much tragedy. The losses are what unhinge him

Doesn't really feel like Star Wars if the entire thing takes place on one planet

Feels to small scale

>Have Anakin first appear as a teenager or his early 20s
>Remember he is a slave. He should be malnourished, sickly, and full of anger, not bright eyed and bushy tailed.
>first movie ends with the clone wars beginning
>2nd movie should have him in his 30s and be the quintessential war hero.
>he is constantly at odds with the rest of the Jedi who let things like slavery and corruption happen while they sit in the lap of luxury and enlightenment in Coruscant
>He wants to let go of his anger but his past doesn't allow it

That was my biggest beef with the prequels. He was a fucking slave. Why was he always laughing and smiling? He should have been miserable.

Nice pasta

I don't give a shit if it's Reddit as fuck, I would have gone with the evil Jar Jar shit. I'd also have made Qui Gon a space drunk to see drunken style force combat.

watto wasnt a cruel slavemaster. sure it was free labor, but he didnt beat anakin senseless for pleasure

It seemed much more like roman slavery, they even had their own residence away from wattos

first ep
>droid war already started
>jedi/senate scrambling to make armies
>jedi heavily recruiting force sensitive people
>buy anakin (as a teen/young adult) out from slavery because hes force sensitive
>anakin is really thankful at first
>thinks jedi are pure 100% good
>palpy plants seeds of doubt
>eventually questions why they arent freeing all the slaves, and if hes truly "free" or if hes a slave to the jedi now
>movie ends with palpy revealing clone army

second movie
>anakin is doing really good at war and fighting
>padme love story begins
>anakin thinks clones are even worse than slaves because they were genetically engineered to be docile and follow orders, no free will or anything
>palpy starts working his logic on anakin by saying its worth it to protect people
>anakin also upset jedi/senate arent doing enough to help people across the galaxy
>palpy says some obviously forbodeing crap about how only an emperor can have that much control
>droid armies defeated by the end of the movie

third movie
>droids armies are gone but clone army still exists
>palpy keeps using it to do whatever in the name of "good"
>anakin completely agrees with palpy
>starts doing more questionable things
>jedi openly disapprove
>anakin gets more corrupted etc
>order 66, padme dies, anakin gets thrown into lava, same story

how did i do

I like it, but I'd keep the war going into the third film. At least for the first act. You need war in a Star Wars movie.

palpatine would use the clone army to fight very one sided wars. hed be using the massive, galaxy wide war machine to fight lesser evils/opponent. any planet that is mildly "corrupt", palpatine would take it over and enforce a more "stable" government. or he fights the hutts for whatever reason. stuff where hes very obviously being a military dictator, but he smooth talks everybody by saying hes liberating planets. anakin fully buys into it, the jedi dont, fighting happens
