Who is more powerful?

Who is more powerful?

Who is more dangerous?

Rick.
Rick.

...

Rick is more powerful because he has "youth" on his side (Farnsworth is into his 100's i think)and thus more control over his knowledge and more control over what he can do to others.

Farnsthworth is more dangerous because he could invent something terrifying, and forget how to turn it off.

Rick has a family he (regretfully) cares for

The Professor has fry I guess but he has demonstrated his lack of concern for his well being on many occasions

Rick.
Farnsworth.

Bender

Well, Rick is pretty spry for an 80 year old

Who is more Reddit?

Rick gets into way more trouble with the law, and has caused mischief in more places.

Rick for sure

Is Futurama considered Reddit-tier on Sup Forums now?

Rick has expressed a similar lack of concern and Professor depending on the episode has a softspot for the crew. Rick's perfection of dimensional travel also makes him comfortable with just abandoning them at a moment's notice and picking up a new group.
Rick has already invented horrifying shit and didn't know how to turn it off. Rick has deformed an entire planet. All Farnsworth has ever done is dream about it.

Rick has never made anything as revolutionary or impressive as the fing-longer.

What does Reddit-tier mean exactly? I always thought Futurama was a good show.

Farnsworth has invented a few doomsday devices. I don't think we've seen them in action before.

this

One invented the finglonger.

The other is a suicidal bitch.

Farnsworth is bestboy.

BENDER IS GREAT
OH BENDER IS GREAT
BENDER BENDER BENDER

>What does Reddit-tier mean exactly?
Nothing, it's just a way to insult someone's taste by saying the thing they like is "Reddit" or "Reddit-tier".

So reddit-tier is a reddit-tier insult then?

I always thought calling something co-tier is more of an insult. Half this board just watches cartoons to masturbate and at the very least Reddit is large while we're all the same assholes

Farnsworth
>Invented a whole multiverse in a cardboard box (including his own)
>Built and owns several doomsday devices
>Eats mummies
>Talented drag racer

>I don't think we've seen them in action before.

Actually, we have. In the episode where the Harlem Globetrotters challenge earth to a game of basketball and the Pro. creates atomic supermen using cronitons. For using the cronitons, it caused a time space disruption making making everything skip ahead. In the end the Pro. had to use one of his doomsday devices to correct the anomaly.

Is 80 even old enough for ultra porn?

>Pro.

Fuck, I mean "Prof."

Rick's a washed-up loser living with his daughter, much to her husband's chagrin.

Farnsworth is an inventor who also owns a galactic shipping company.

He also owns assorted lengths of wire.

Rick allegedly has a bomb in the pilot capable of killing Earth.
In the end Rick is more dangerous because he's actually done more damage and has about the same capability as farnsworth if not more.

I'd say Rick. Rick is a fighter, as he has fought in an intergalactic rebellion. He's always getting into trouble and always figuring a way out of it. Rick is also the more dangerous of the two because of his alcoholism.

Doesn't professor Farnsworth regularly make stuff that threaten the entire universe? He also has an assortment of doomsday devices he just leaves laying about.

Farnsworth.
Depends on if you mean intentionally ir accidentally.

Rick is actually like 60.

That line was from someone who didn't really know him. Do the math and figure that his daughter had Summer at like 17, which makes her about 34, and assuming Rick had her in his late 20's that adds up to around 60. That's more fitting for his appearance and personality.

One kills everything, everywhere.

BEEEEEEENDER~!
B-E-N-D-E-R!

Give me a "B"!

Farnsworth creates shit on the scale of 40k by mistake or lack of concern.

Rick does far more damage and intentionally, but is less capable. There's an organization of himself limiting him as well.

Remember that the Rick in the show is from another universe though, since he remembers holding Morty as a baby which is something that didn't happen with the Morty in the show since Rick vanished for twenty years. His lack of bonding with Summer also suggests his original universe didn't have one since we saw very few universes do.

He also spent some time dicking around in an ageless future too.

You don't get to call "/thread" when it's not on the subject.

Rick is a fucking asshole. Farnsworth at least is a nice guy who makes shit out of niceness. My literal wife would love him.

Farnsworth has done alot of damage. I can't really list it too thoroughly.

He's also either invented a parallel dimension or opened a box doorway to one. This is a tech tree that could rapidly lead him to Rick levels of inter dimensional hi-jinx.

...

Rick doesn't do more damage than Farnsworth. Farnsworth regularly comes extremely close to destroying the entirety of reality with his inventions. He's far more intelligent than rick but he's just old and crazy so it doesn't seem that way.

I don't get it either, Reddit isn't even that bad of a site. The community is arguably on par with Sup Forums in terms of shit vs good.

>Farnsworth at least is a nice guy who makes shit out of niceness

I'm assuming this isn't an actual argument, but just for the hell of it.

>they say madness runs in our family. Some even call me mad. And why? Because I dared to dream of my own race of atomic monsters, atomic supermen with octagonal shaped bodies that suck blood...

- Prof. Fansworth

Rick doesn't even invent all of his things.

The greater universe in Rick & Morty has alternate dimension TV.

Farnsworth invented the machine to show other realities in his universe. As well as discovered infinite energy and figured out paradox-free time travel which is something literally stated to be impossible for Rick since the writers refuse to deal with time travel.

Go /thread yourself.

rick hates himself. that should explain it. fuck that asshole.

That doesn't play into how powerful he is. But, does for how dangerous he is.

Ricks puny bomb doesn't come close to Farnsworths bomb. Farnsworths bomb destroyed multiple stars (iirc it was at least 40, enough to spell 'I love you, Lela)

Rick is more powerful

Farnsworth is more dangerous when he's not fucking around OR fucking around too much

The device Farnsworth built could have destroyed half of the entire universe if it were detonated outwardly.

It was only because Curly Joe suggested to rig the device to trigger an implosion that it only destroyed a few stars.

Half of the universe is gargantuan

Rick has a power-suit.

Don't forget he has more than one. He had like three others.

Of 1 universe.

Well so does Snowball.

>Rick is more powerful

I dunno user. Farnsworth literally moves the universe with his ship

Has Rick ever demonstrated that he could destroy an entire universe/universes?

Asking sincerely, in case I'm forgetting something

That doesn't argue against Rick and for Farnsworth.

>Who is more powerful?
Farnsworth, he has several doomsday weapons at his disposal.

>Who is more dangerous?
Rick, primarily because he's fucked up at least 2 earths by now.

>this whole post

Ever wonder why people call this play Sup Forumsmblr?

>we saw very few universes do.

That makes absolutely no sense. Jerry and Beth stayed together for Summer. It makes more sense that there would be far less Morty's

The closest was that season premiere episode where he had stopped time, but when there was uncertainty, it started causing a splits in spacetime.

Rick did the first one.

I've never seen the play Sup Forumsmblr, but I did see CATS. It made me question my sexuality.

But Farnsworth did it first. Probably by accident, but I can't remember for sure.

Rick is more powerful in the sense that he can do crazy shit at the drop of a hat. Farnsworth is inhibited by his old age and also his insanity, though it fuels him too.

>Probably by accident, but I can't remember for sure.

It apparently is by accident as he wanted the box to be sent to the sun.

that only affected a small radius around the three of them

Does rick have nearly the amount of doomsday Devices Farnsworth has lying around? I remember like, one in the first episode. Then again, Rick's shown himself to be massively destructive without any, for instance, getting the Zygerians to obliterate themselves with a select few chemicals.

The professor has better resources and can operate out in public without fear of being apprehended. But Rick seems to work with less anyways, often making devices out of Jerry's garage supplies in a lot of cases.

Rick is just way more cold-blooded though.

But Rick did it first, nearly 1000 years before Farnsworth.

>can operate out in public without fear of being apprehended

So can Rick if he has Morty around.

What if Farnsworth had Rick's universe in a box?

Rick has powers closer to toon force
i hate how people compare Futurama and Rick and Morty though
Futurama is parody of 50s and 60s scifi tropes

Rick and Morty is parody of mostly modern fiction and sitcoms (even though the characters are technically based off of Doc and Marty, they're more of an amalgamation of Roiland's older characters)

He already did a song and dance a lot like that, chances are Rick would probably leave said box and then kill Farnsworth should his universe/car battery be threatened.

When was that stated?

Boxes appear to serve like gateways. In that case Rick could have Farnsworth's universe in a box. They would probably do the same thing in that episode and swap boxes with their respective universes in them.

That, or this could happen.

Unless Morty is when they get back together after aborting Summer.

How does Rick do that if he throws the box into the sun?

By leaving it and freezing time, duh. Or just leaving it, letting the box/universe burn, and finding an identical one to live in and pretend nothing ever happened.

But how does he know that he is in a box?

this

In this case the scenario is unwinnable by either one of them.

they dont seem to get theres different groups. You think a group is to "tumbler"?

Find one that isnt

Here, theres one comic group, and thats it....thats it man..

Neither had Farnsworth.

If the box is sat on everything squishes, so if something else happens to it then he'd probably be able to detect it.

Yes he did. It's in Bender's Big Score

rick
rick

I would watch that crossover episode.

>What does Reddit-tier mean exactly?
Media that is smarter than average, but not to the point that it alienates a mainstream audience; also must be very quotable.

He didn't invent the finglonger though. He just invented a device to see what it would be like if he had. Farnsworth ' s got nothing.

Farnsworth is just a rick only 80 years older and cheerier through being senile

A man can dream, though

A man can dream

He invented it in the end iirc.

What are you even talking about? Reddit won't stop sucking Rick and Morty's writers dick for it's fake deep ideology about how "god isn't real, take that christians XD"

the comedy central post revival seasons, yes

Farnsworth is funnier.

while they have commited almost all of the same types of science feats the truth is farnsworth is. HE BUILT A FUCKING TIME MACHINE AND TRAVELED THROUGH TIME BOTH WAYS. rick stopped time and fucked it up.

Farnsworth and Rick would be bros and you fucking know it.

Rick on both accounts.

Only because he actually has agency over his actions though. Farnsworth is just too old.
