Actually I liked the episode.
I say it was really good.
Its funny and Ronaldo is excellently clueless.
Its sad they aborted it I expected to see Ronaldo on missions and realizing what its really like.
Personally I loved the exploration from a human perspective even though it was a comedy episode. Ronaldo raises some good points.

There was something I liked namely the fact that Ronaldo might have displayed what is the in universe "Human power".
Ronaldo out talked Steven convincing him he is wrong.
Consider that Steven did the same to multiple gems (Lapis, the CG).
This might hint that the gems are 'retarded' and/or humans have incredible skills at convincing gems or lesser gems (not diamonds) of reconsidering their course of action.
The fact that Greg was able to make Blue Diamond interested in him speaks volumes here(although not in the way he wanted).
People did make comparisons about gems having animal or child like characteristics.
I'm starting to think there might be something inferior in gem psychology VS humans.
Personally I hate filler episodes and Onion Gang was the worst waste of 10 minutes in my life (it gave me migraines) I love to see the actual plot move forward, however I found this episode surprisingly funny and charming(Ronaldos funny replica sword that I can bet is practically a toy, love to see that used on actual gem or monster). I love to see Ronaldo confronted with real action (diamonds, homeworld, monsters).
