Moviepass

Just got my card in the mail. Where my Moviepass boys at? What have you seen lately? How long is the gravy train gonna last?

Inb4 shill, sorry you're a fat housebound NEET and mommy won't let you use her debit card to pay less for a month of movies than for one single ticket at retail price with the only catch being that you can't order the tickets until you arrive at the theater.

This month I've seen Ladybird, The Florida Project, The Square and Killing of a Sacred Deer. Florida Project was my favorite of those since I really like that poverty porn kinda thing but all were good. What else is good right now?

Imagine getting arsehole cancer.

I want to see

>The Foreigner
>Murder on the Orient Express
>Daddy's Home 2
>Thank You For Your Service

Looking forward to- (some might be out already in major cities)

>Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
>Roman J Israel, Esq.
>Call Me by Your Name

It feels so good to be able to go to the movies again without feeling like I got mugged.

I can actually take a chance on stuff now because I'm not out like $30 after taxes and "convenience fees" when I go out to watch a mediocre movie with my gf. Now I can take a flyer on any film that looks halfway interesting and not think in the back of my head the whole time about what else I could have spent my money on instead of whatever piece of shit movie I'm currently watching.

>NO IMAX
>NO 3D
>NO RESERVED SEATING
100% USELESS

LMAO MOVIEPASS PLEEBS

Reserved seating theaters suck, in my opinion. 3D is also trash. I enjoy IMAX but I only ever go see them with my dad about three times per year.

>NO IMAX
Dolby is better anyway, and my AMC just renovated everything so even the standard theaters have great picture and sound

>NO 3D
lmao who actually watches 3D? It's gimmicky bullshit, I wouldn't choose it even if it cost the same as a normal ticket.

>NO RESERVED SEATING
All the screens at my theater have reserved seating since they renovated it. Doesn't really matter to me anyway, as long as I don't go on friday or saturday night there's always just handful of other people in the theater.

don't try to argue with the ticket plebs, they envy our foresight in joining moviepass

someone sell me on moviepass

$10/mo lets you see as many movies as you want. You just can't see more than one film a day, you can't see 3D and IMAX crap, and you have to physically go to the theater and check in on your phone to get your tickets instead of ordering them ahead of time.

It works with both the AMC and the Regal in my city

>Dolby is better anyway
LMAO

'no'

DOLBY HAS LITTLE STRIPS OF SCREEN AT 2.35:1 AR

THATS SHORT AS SHIT AND OVERALL TINY EVEN IN WIDTH COMPARED TO A REAL IMAX, DOLBY IS THE MANLET OF PREMIUM LARGE FORMATS

>Just got my card in the mail
FUCK YOU
I'VE BEEN WAITING 2.5 MONTHS NOW. TWO CARDS SHIPPED, ZERO ARRIVED

IMAX xenon is what's in 90% of IMAXtheaters, dingus. You have to be in a major city like NY or LA to see a real IMAX laser or 70mm projection

has anyone else just bought one ticket via fandango to reserve a seat then when you're ready to check in refund the ticket and get a cozy seat in pristine location with movie pass, then use the refund credit to repeat the cycle of never having a shitty seat because of movie pass?

DONT LIVE IN A SKRUB CITY THEN :^)

>not going exclusively to your local kinoplex where the audience is only ever you and four other people max

>NO 3D
haha

you're joking right

whats the point when kg and ptp exist

don't have to wait.
and personally i like the large screen.

>HE DIDN'T SEE THIS TOTAL EYEFUCKERY IN IMAX 3D
LMAOING BRUH

90% OF 3D BITCHING IS FROM GLASSES NERDS, FIX UR DEFECT EYELETS!
