>shampoo website was made several years ago >ultimate enemies video was uploaded in 2012 >the pipe strip video implies that it was filmed several years ago
Does this mean that this was just a one time thing done over the years? Will we ever get more anytime soon?
I bet there are more unlisted videos on those accounts waiting to be unleashed in other nine years.
Colton Allen
In another 9 years
Jeremiah Robinson
Is this the Boyhood of yooutube
Robert Moore
Can somebody explain to me what the deal with Lasagna Cat is?
Christian James
They hate Mondays.
Charles Stewart
They love lasagna.
Mason Miller

Brody Anderson
the newspaper live-action Jon is reading in the pipe strip has a Redbox headline from 2009
Kevin Torres
I can barely enjoy it anymore because I feel like such a shitheel for missing out on calling the survey
My name would have been Roland Deschain
Xavier Cooper
im not going to lie, the first image i saw about lasagna cat, i thought it was some gay porn parody. it wasnt the shampoo site, just an animated gif.
Ian Nguyen
I had heard that they'd been showing new Lasagna Cats at random cons they'd been to in the earlier part of the decade, so my guess is that they really were working on these in their spare time and held off on releasing them on Youtube until now for whatever reason.
Logan Adams
Yeah, it was apparently the 'video a day' pace that caused their original haitus, which frankly is absurd because nobody really asks for that kind of schedule from anyone.
Except newspaper comic artists. Which might be the point.
I'm still upset I called them but chickened out at the number part
Jeremiah Bennett
dont worry about it they still appreciate you.
Camden Jackson
I remembered seeing screencaps of the Dingleball one back then, so I figured if they were going to more videos they'd adapt the ones they did live. Didn't realize the cupcake video was another one.
I wonder if the Dingleball and Cupcake videos were originally planned to be with the first wave and didn't get uploaded, or stuff they did after Lasagna Cat was a modest hit?
Liam Powell
>tfw I didn't even call
Silence is my languague, for I am a coward
Zachary Watson
Lasagna cat was never really a hit, it has a niche audience which is perfect and understandable, cos their content is specific and awesome like all content should be. So I dont think they were planning anything based on views...
Zachary Ward
and you have bad taste in youtube shows too, judging by that pic
Nicholas Sanders
To take something as vapid and innocent as a three panel Garfield comic, and extrapolate it into something worthy of a sundance award
Jonathan Rodriguez
An attempt to take shitposting and make it quality shitposting
Sebastian Campbell
Okay that's only recently, what they usually do is elobarate on/mock the panels through exaggeration or parody in set to music. Is Jim Davis grossly unfunny and this is a mockery? Or is he kinda funny and this is a celebration? It's kinda hard to tell; Lasagna Cat sits in between, probably to avoid being obvious and hurting the old man's/his fan's feelings.
Asher Thomas
>elobarate
I cant spell too gud fellas sorry
Samuel Ramirez
HAHAHAHAHA-HAAAA~
Jonathan Torres
I found it on Sup Forums, I thought it's just a random sad man
Who is it?
Nathaniel Thomas

Caleb Adams
WOAH MAN I THOUGHT WE WAS COOL OKAY OKA YOU AINT INTO THAT, I GET IT... sheet *fixes jacket*
Kevin Thomas
>Does this mean that this was just a one time thing done over the years? Will we ever get more anytime soon? I remember seeing an excerpt from an article about lasagnacat. Fatal Farm has had most of these videos made for years and showed them at small events and such. They had been wanting to release them for a long time but their workload and stuff meant they were never able to find the time to get it all done.
James Green
Unfunny tryhard video series with production values that would have been better spent writing material that didn't suck shit, produced by people 90 feet up their own asses who try to do that "confusing but deep which we're portraying ironically so it's funny" style of "humor" that only retards with subhuman IQs laugh at.
Liam Parker
its not that bad- there's not pretentious about it at all, nothing.
Leo Brooks
...
Nolan Reed
No, it's the Frog Fractions
Jaxon Cruz
oh relax lord forbid I take anything on this board literally instead of tip toeing all the damn time
Michael Clark
It is that bad. You can't see it because you've bought into the hype that Fatal Farm themselves manufactured.
Luis Phillips
Wait, where does the pipe strip video imply its age?
Matthew Jackson
I liked it I guess I cant say exactly why so you might be right. Maybe when I have more time I'll pick it apart and really see if it's shit.
Parker Davis
I'll pick apart that japanese bukkake one first because that one spoke to me the most- I'll post my review here eventually or you can email me
Dominic Nguyen
Oh hey look everyone it's the contrarian. Don't you have a SU thread to shitpost?
James Cox
>Don't you have a SU thread to shitpost?
Bad example of thing to defend
Besides everything should be criticized. Anything that acts like it should be exempt from criticism (or pick specific criticisms over others) is a sham. Challenge opposing ideas.
Jack Gonzalez
Be good, my children.
Anthony Ross
It would take a while to explain.
Owen Allen
>I'm so insecure I have to call everyone who could possibly dislike something I like a contrarian
Jacob Baker
I honestly prefer the older ones. The newer ones were too edgy for me which ain't really a surprise since they're Fatal Farm and all but the older ones had more charm imo.
The ones I liked from the new wave are Cat with a Pipe and the shitty fight video + all the material related to it.
Justin Bailey
it's a defense mechanism; could be used by the innocent or guilty. Usually good people question themselves but I understand blind loyalty cos I've been there
>blind loyalty is bullshit.
Samuel Brown
I agree, the newer ones were funny and looked great but missed out on having the charm of the originals My all time favorite is the haunted hamburger one
Caleb Brooks
I'm sort of missing out on the apparent charm of the original ones because it doesn't really feel like there were "original ones". Everything seems to be of a single piece.
When rewatching the entire channel the biggest takeaway I had was evolving sensibilities, skillsets, and interest. They all had their own appeal and it was fascinating seeing certain seeds grow and blossom over time.
Knowing that every single one of them were made over a number of years and just loaded in two separate mass uploads makes it feel more like those photographers who store negatives in their fridge for several years before developing and publishing them. But there's no "original" photograph to really point to.
Jackson Bennett
for me I'd say the production value appears to go way up in the new batch
Isaac Williams
>insists redletter is shit >continues to roleplay on Sup Forums I guess you have superior tastes, like nostalgia critic.
Joshua Gomez
Oh the production value is definitely way up there in the recent ones. I'm just saying that it feels like it's all part of the same thing and not a separation for me.
I love Lasagna Cat a whole lot though. It feels rooted in the same feelings I had when it came to Garfield. This sort of begrudging admiration and not being quite sure if I loved or hated it but knowing I appreciated growing up with it all the same.
Samuel Myers
I liked the new ones but they changed the format, and I feel like I prefer the older ones which were just insane music videos based on Garfield comics. The new ones went too far in a different direction, but still did stuff that was charming (Miami Vice and Ultimate Battle especially).
My favorite is still the burr in your sandbox.
Adam Lopez
CAT BRUSH!!!
Evan Adams
Just let me die
Nathaniel Hughes
pure comic-kino
Joseph Harris
CAT RAGE ROOM
Elijah James
I like 'em both, the new ones for production value alone already deserve great props.
I didn't realize it had been 9 fucking years though. Jesus Christ, I feel like shit.
Jason Moore
that's me and fuck nostalgia critic
John Walker
I think there is a clear before and after, as they switched up the formula a bit in the newer batch and the humor is mostly different.
In the earlier batch even in its weirdest, darkest moments it was just dumb fun or surreal mess.
These new ones are mostly dark, even mean spirited in parts(with some exceptions), not saying this is a bad thing as humor is subjective, but it doesn't really feel like it fits with the older stuff.
Sebastian Russell
>it takes 45 minutes for Larry Barrymore to say "This is a joke"
Ayden James
I think the only real "dark" thing about the newer uploads was the ending for the sex survey video, everything else was still relatively tame.
Charles Miller
>>ultimate enemies video was uploaded in 2012 which one is that?
Isaac Martinez
Really makes you think.
Jose Gonzalez
Maybe he is the one making all anime threads and reporting cartoon pics at Sup Forums I call him Matthew
Joseph Turner
Green text won't help disguise your attempts, """contrarian""">Besides everything should be criticized. Anything that acts like it should be exempt from criticism (or pick specific criticisms over others) is a sham. Challenge opposing ideas.
That works only up to a point though. There's legit criticism and then there's """criticism""" which is like Youtube reviewer-level nitpicking.
Blake Martin
I think the older ones work more because they're concise. I was getting a little worried when I watched the Robocop one and was thinking they were going to drag out jokes. They sort of did but some of those cases still worked. I thought the Barrymore one worked because it was stretched out. And the Ultimate Battle one was funny because they went to great lengths to create other Youtube videos making fun of common Youtube videos like unboxings, challenges, film reviewers, etc. And I still liked the Miami Vice one. I'm not surprised they went with a more horror-based thing since they did that with some of their TV intros and other stuff. But in some cases I kinda wonder if it was neccesary (like the Garfield sneezing Jon's head off one)
Zachary Campbell
Only one of those posts is me (the second one). I'm more likely to make samafagging obvious as a joke. I dont care about my reputation here, lol.
Words like nitpicking used to discard criticism are bad for me. All criticism deserves to exist, present your own argument, and see which one stands. Speaking of youtube, I've seen guys criticize something, show evidence of it, an example, and then some idiot in the comments blurts "ugghh nitpick". Don't specify; it's just an alternate disguize for ignorance. Other people say you cant criticize unless you're *niiice*. Fuck off on both regards. These are just disguises for insecurity. I, on the other hand, don't care if I'm wrong, I want to find out the truth, instead of discarding genuine criticism with words like "subjective", "bias" or my favorite: "opinion".
Xavier Baker
>I'm joyless and cynical. That means I'm smart. Look at me everyone!
Zachary Gomez
He truly is a Garfield.
Wyatt Baker
>Cupcake mouse
Nolan Phillips
is this gonna turn into the new loss?
Joseph Cox
hopefully
Blake Perry
Did anyone else watch the entire hour long video
Christopher Long
I watched it on 2x speed. Tried to understand it the whole way through but while I think I understood many of the individual points Barrymore was making the grand message of it was lost on me.
Brayden Watson
Damn
Ryder James
I think the team was planning on doing the comeback back in 2012 but then had to halt production to work on Key and Peele Now that the show had finished, they could come back to do this work
Hi, I'm interested in taking on your opinion as my own. First, though, I'd like some assurance that you're a smart person with good taste whose opinion would reflect those qualities on me if I were to adopt it. To that end, could you give me some examples of things that you find to be funny, or otherwise "good"?
Andrew Watson
Why am I laughing
I want to die
Kevin Reed
see
he doesn't have to earn your respect. You should consider all opinions and challenge them.
Asher Reed
It's not really a formal analysis, just his random musings timed to the music. It's nowhere near as cohesive as it's being memed to be.
Camden Ross
>he Why did you respond? I wasn't talking to you.
Gabriel Robinson
BECAUSE I LOVE HIM
Angel Wood
The older ones are funnier overall but the newer ones that hit it are better. Pipe Strip of course but the fight one so perfectly nails teenage edgelord mid-2000s internet culture that it's absolutely amazing.
Ryan Hughes
>I, on the other hand, don't care if I'm wrong, I want to find out the truth, instead of discarding genuine criticism with words like "subjective", "bias" or my favorite: "opinion". I argue that you're a fucking idiot because you wrote this sentence.
Leo Brown
>but the fight one so perfectly nails teenage edgelord mid-2000s internet culture that it's absolutely amazing.
Yeah I actually ended up feeling a little nostalgic seeing that.
Caleb Gonzalez
awesome. you're right :D
Julian Clark
The other dancing one is even better imho
Carson James
someone's upset his capeshit wasn't appreciated
Jose Clark
I don't think you can talk about what they "Usually" do when there's a Nine year gap between uploads.
Anthony Young
Sigh... so ig'nant.
Josiah Jenkins
>"It's over. Life is pain. Goodbye." >26th of June, 2015 Jesus.
Mason Nelson
>fart noises at the end of the video
Zachary Carter
Oh? Not only did I watch that entire video, but I also watched the entire phone survey results video right after. Holy shit I am tired.
