comfy/100
best sick day movie I've watched in a long time
One of his worst but still better than most blockbuster schlock.
Not a huge Tarantino fan, but I watched it on a whim since I've been working on a Western novel for a while and wanted inspiration to start it up again.
Some user here said that putting Tatum's name on the opening screed was a bad choice, and I agree with him. In a movie with very few characters, noticing one of the major names/faces being absent I kept expecting him to show up and be tied in with the woman somehow, though I assumed husband/wife not brother/sister simply because I saw his name.
Goggins killed it, and I love that he's showing up more and more. The dialogue was good, as expected, and the feel of the stageplay-lite, winter paranoia, and Western backdrop were all appealing aesthetics. One of my favourite Tarantino flicks.
...
I didn't see it with the intermission so I guess I lost that 15 minutes of wondering whodunit before the reveal. Good movie though, Bruce Dern was great in the 60s and it was nice to see him in another Western role.
All in all solid B
boring trash. the dialogue didn't fit the movie at all
lol wtf
Actually no. Django was easily better and I actually hate black people. I still liked it more despite that fact
There's something I can't explain about this movie or any Tarantino one, but they're just not comfy. It was a comfy cabin in the middle of mountains during the winter, it should have been comfy but it wasn't.
I liked both, and I particularly liked that they feel like they actually exist in the same universe, despite the Sam Jackson doppelganger
3 hours of boredom that lead up to 5 minutes of intense dickshooting. Complete garbage.
yes yes it was a good movie goyim...
believe me
>only explosions and guns are interesting
The absolute state of this generation
>not enough techno music with neo martial arts
>hated it
I forgot
Produced by
(((Richard N. Gladstein)))
(((Stacey Sher)))
t. John Wick fan
>$54 Million budget
Seriously? It takes place in one large room. There are no explosions. There's some really simple gun-fighting. What did they spend all that money on? The cast?
Very comfy on the first watch but not something I care to see ever again.
>never being able to enjoy fiction writing because psychological disgust against others overcomes
how's your endless suffering going anyway?
>54 million shekels
Cast and equipment ain't cheap. 54m is basically nothing for a huge director.
Maybe watch Attack of the Clones or Guardians of the Galaxy next time
>The cast
funny thing about an all-star cast. they cost a lot of money. are you seriously surprised by this?
Kurt Russel and SLJ are pretty expensive user
>54m is basically nothing
>when the major blockbusters with fucktons of CGI and marketing cost 150 million, 56 is nothing
retard
i think the dialogue is why i don't like this movie. the dialogue in his movies usually increases tension until it reaches this point where everything explodes into chaos, it just felt too forced in this movie, i dont know why
>tarantino
>the man whose movies solely get
carried by over the top gore and violence
>all-star
Most of the actors are pretty far past their prime.
8/10 at best
The only thing that really threw me was Jackson's use of 'big black dingus' and 'dude' with the old general
CGI is done by workdrones for pennies, and usually marketing isn't included into the silly 150m budgets.
Kurt Russel tho
...
absolutely
Maybe capeshit is more your speed user
yep
>muh comfy
Fucking pleb
Weinstein, Gladstein, and Sher made it happen so it sounds pretty damn Jewish to me.
>The guitar that Daisy plays on was some super rare model straight from a museum
>There were numerous prop ones to use for the smashing scene
>Kurt still somehow manages to grab the real one and bashes it against the wall
>They use that take. You can see JJL's actual horrified reaction when it happens.
and minorities most likely built your car, so why don't you give up your car and walk your fat ass off a cliff
shit blew my fuckin mind. maybe that's where the budget went.
mediocre
Damn
>yfw you thought the movie was going to be another Tarantual weak-racebait movie
>instead it was about men, both black and white, men who hated each other banding together to fight and destroy the true threat, the woman
Why wouldnt you just use a replica in the first place
90% of the movie is a (((character piece))) that ends with gore for the sake of gore. But at least it had Samuel L. Jackson letting a whiteboy sucking his niggerdick.
You just know they were smashing
>anime reaction image
>hatred for women
Fucking normalfags
Senor Bob didn't deserve what he got.
dude
the thing but in western
lmao
Senor Bob is a mescan though
Fuck that guy
kinda felt like a longer reservoir dogs desu
the face off are bit nicer though and the setting is comfy
How do you know? Do you know each and every one from Sup Forums personally or something? I can fucking tell you that Sup Forums was never any different than it is now (besides the obvious shoehorning of politics in everything and the increased popularity)
good cintematography
dogshit everything else
dude
you’re a total brainlet
lmao
6/10 flick
Another exercise in style from Tarantino
When will he try to make an impactful film?
His next one. The Manson Family.
I don't watch kike propaganda
I enjoyed it. It was a return to form for Quentin.
Really? I'm Latino, say nigger all the time, don't give a fuck about rights or nothing and I couldn't stand Django. I would even go as far to say that I am a Tarantino fanboy, and despite this, I couldn't finish the fucking film.
I haven't even seen the Hateful 8 because I was in jail when it came out and haven't made time to watch it. Is it better than Django?
Potentially good movie ruined by Tarantino’s black male thang fetish
pretty sure Tarantino did it on purpose
t. vato loco
Django could've been better if it hadn't turned into a fucking mess after Waltz refused to shake Leos hand. Adolfo POSTE
I felt like H8 had a very drawn out ending and that several segments just felt kinda stale
Then again I saw this some days after my dog died
and yet you still felt the need to express your feelings to us
Because every department's budget is inflated to fuck, that's why you see schlubby poor characters wearing $4500 wristwatches and $1200 leather jackets
>Weinstein company
Yeah right, I'm not watching this
Answer my question asshole
prison bitch
I felt like he lost his touch with Django, which didn't feel like a Tarantino movie, storywise mostly. But that one gave me hope, really one of its finest.
Here's a (you)s fine shitposters
I would unironically sodomize you with a broom handle.
Kurt was apparently in on it too
scored some huge mad man points with me when i heard that
you will unironically, literally do no such thing. prison fag.
LOL OLD MAN BLOWJOB 10/10 MOOBI
>Kurt russel saves slj and waltg from the blizzard, bringing the theme of racial tension into the story in the micro-cosm of the carriage
>the virtues of those who survive violent war, on opposing sides, is challenged with BruceD and SMJ at odds; BruceD's inability to keep a cool head acts as foreshadowing for WaltG and his crises of racial tension vs morality.
>kurtG's death at the hands of the poison is just plot moving forward, though his abuse of DD is what blinds him to her threat
>timR and Mm represent the virtues of brotherhood, albeit misguided based on violent lifestyles
>the fact they all die shows a failure of all their belief systems; ultimately reflecting the brutality of violence and the West, but with hope for a better future (the modern audience learning from their 'sacrifices')
>autism: The post
I know
>decent insight
thanks user
django is much more comedic
