Is Sup Forums really full of people over 35 or the ones shitting on milenials here are just milenials in denial?

Is Sup Forums really full of people over 35 or the ones shitting on milenials here are just milenials in denial?

All I can say is I'm 32 and I believe kids will be kids.

It's the only way those 40 somethings can spend time with their kids.

if you are 35+ and using Sup Forums you should hang yourself

I'm 30 and technically a millennial, but do enjoy shitting on us/them as well. I think there's a fairly large cultural divide between those of us who didn't have a phone/had primitive, terrible phones at best in high school and kids who have been able to look at porn on their iPhones since 2007.

I'm 26 and the only reason I haven't killed myself is because I don't want to die having never ejaculated onto a cute girl's face

37 here. Married with a kid. I browse Sup Forums and a few other boards for at least a couple of hours every day. I used to check a couple of subs on re_d_t as well but I haven't been back there since 11/7/16.

Oh, user, I'm sorry - but you can't ever leave. You think 10 years from now, things will be different, but they won't be. I'm married and have a family and still haven't been able to leave this place since 2006.

I'm 39!!!FACT!!!

Been here since 2007.......

37 here too. Man, those Special Editions sure were crazy!

Not gonna lie I'm only 22 but I shit on you fucking over stimulated no taste mongoloids all the time. Dropped out of school and got my GED at 15 because I couldn't fucking stand being around you pieces of shit that have to be stimulated by something every fucking second of every fucking day by some retarded shit. Thing is I don't even hate most of the things that you guys do/listen to/watch in theory, I hate the oversimplified bullshit you've turned it all into. Used to love me some coon tunes, still bump wu tang, nwa, and even shit up to like eminem and 50 cent. Then lil wayne came along and you fucking faggots pushed him to the top because he had fucking 2 good songs, and he took over the industry then ruined it single handedly when he started pushing drake and tyga and all those other stupid niggers in young money. Used to like capeshit. You fucking faggots complained that classics like Superman were too cartoony and pushed for MUH SERIOUS CAPESHIT after Nolans (admittedly good) trilogy which caused a fuckload of clashing tones in Marvel movies because they're fucking children's characters and have to be somewhat cartoonish to work. Used to love film. You faggots turned it into a sea of capeshit and Disney live action remakes. Used to love vidya more than anything else, and surprise surprise you mother fuckers fucked it up when you were 8 buying a never ending stream of dlc on your moms credit card which caused an over abundance of micro-transactions and loot boxes to the point where I can't even play the new fucking Battlefront unless I want to shill out extra money to buy Darth Vader and just about every other hero (or villain) is also hidden behind a paywall or 40+ hours of grinding. I grew up with and as a millennial, and yes, trust me you fucking entitled low attention span retards deserve every single ounce of hate you get from older generations. I'm genuinely fearful for how shitty millenials children could end up.

Can someone translate this to old man? I checked out when he started talking about rappers.

Millennials is such a stupid term

the real generational divide is between those who grew up with high speed internet and social media and those who didn't

I had high speed internet, ICQ and Livejournal in 1998.

30 yr old here

life doesnt get interesting

Teenage to early 20s Sup Forumstards like to roleplay as successful professionals in their 40s

but 20 year olds aren't millenials, like said most of them grew up with smartphones and never watched anything of the 80s

Oldtimers have a better excuse than people who are literally burning the best years of their lives alone in front of a screen. Enjoy those happy memories when you are 35+ and life necesarily slows down a bit.

>three men and a baby
>raising arizona
>look who's talking
>about a boy

Millenial children would never watch these fucking movies you psycho. This list is more directed to baby boomer women, all you're missing is a few Julia Roberts/Richard Gere chick flicks and Sex and the City.

I had fun in my teens and 20's and still shit all over the internet. You're not better than anyone.

this. besides, where else would I go, 9gag and facebook? I'm not gonna quit the internet and Sup Forums along with some youtube channels is the only fun place.

Guys how do I get a gf to marry please help

What youtubes do you watch bro?

38 here and
This is correct.

Let's see if you hang yourself at 35, would probably be easier than quitting this shit.

>1992 isn't on the list

why though

Hit a nerve did I Captain So Insecure About His Lifestyle To The Point Of Arguing With Strangers About It.

You sound like a real winner in life champ.

I bet you say champ a lot.

So you got to browse geocities pages at high speed?

Easy there, chief.

this this this
goofing off on the internet is for old fucks
we were all out getting laid, high and in fights when we were young

I'm a millenial and haven't seen most of that list

the list constantly changes, I discover a new channel and get excited and marathon everything and get tired of it after a few days. for example last summer I went through a motovlogging phase. some of the ones that stood the test of time so far are RLM, videogamedunkey, avgn, amazing atheist, collegehumor still makes me laugh sometimes, honest trailers sometimes while having dinner eventhough it got old. so nothing out of the ordinary. last night I discovered penguinz0, dude's hilarious.

34 here never thought the majority was over 30 though that's for sure

>1993
>not Jurassic Park

This. This list is horrible, but it was probably intended to bait us into responding.

Aladdin (1992) one of the only movies that was actually new, I mostly watched older stuff
Star Wars

it actually makes sense, this is a site for teenagers and we all started here 13 years ago

No the fuck you didn't you stupid nigger. 500 KB/s isn't high speed.

It was in 98 you fucking mongoloid.

>not True Romance
Filthy fucking pleb.

E.T. was far too early for the millennials.

TLDR
>user is fag
I'm gen x and I hate millennials because they literally suck the fun out of a room. They're fun suckers.

They're basically the people who makes these.

oh dialup. Having to time your browsing time so it wouldn't take up the home phone line.

...

im 25 but i dont know of any other place on the internet where i like to waste time. ill will prob be here at 35

>First saw Three Men and a Baby at grandma's house on a VHS that was lying around
>There's a scene where you see a shotgun leaning up against a wall, the characters walk past it out of view, then when they walk back and bring it back into view you see a creepy looking ghost like boy standing behind a curtain where the shotgun was
>we rewound and watched it over and over, and thus I was scared shitless of Three Men and a Baby my entire childhood
>sometime in high school the movie comes out on DVD and I find people talking about it on the internet, and it turns out it was just some stupid cardboard cutout of one of the film's actors, and the movie is suddenly way less interesting

The internet ruins everything.

95% of Sup Forums users are muhlennials

>ill will prob be here at 35

Believe it. I'm 32 and I've been here since I was 19.

27 and I don't even recognize half of the movies on that list.

do people actually care about the number of years they've existed for or is this a meme?

...

Im 25, been here since I was like 16, dubs and triangle posting on Sup Forums , project scientology and all that shit.

I actually managed to quit for a long time, years were I maybe would check in on the site a couple of times a year, if even that.

Then I started checking out Sup Forums and its just the perfect time waste because it always stays relevent with movies , tv shows and even celeb gossip (the latter a guilty pleasure of mine).

Soo for a guy that watches a lot of movies its a okay place to read unfiltered and honest opinions since everyones user

>honest opinions since everyones user
Nigger you're kidding right? 85% of this board is shitposting, the other 15% are legitimate opinions in an OP that archive in 5 minutes with no replies because of all the shitposting.

I'm 23. I don't consider myself a millennial, so it's fun to shit on them. I'm barely a millennial anyway. It applies mostly to people born in the 80s.

It's more likely they just don't know what millennial actually means and just use the word as a term for "people younger than me".

Somehow it feels good to see so many old fucks in this thread, here I thought I was old for this site being 33.

Most are millennials in denial, though there's a fair amount of 35+ people here too, believe it or not.

That being said, is right in that there is definitely a divide between older millennials and the younger ones.

There's a huge difference between people born in the 80s than the ones born later. Millennials or not, to think they're all the same is just retarded. Everyone changes in every decade, and even as they get older.

I'm 22. What is our age group called?

I turn 33 in three days, I'm right there with you dude. Been coming here since I was 20 or 21.

Literally milennial.

28 here
miserable trying to better myself
like this place's humor and chaotic freedom but hate the lack or moral integrity. being an asshole on the internet is not much different from being one in real life. dont know maybe id be better off not coming here at all.

what is this from

35, and I spend 12 hours a day here. Learning about Jews did me in. I used to be obsessed with movies, then movies started to suck, I found this place, it made me laugh, rare, but then I found out why movies suck. It was like an OBE. I couldn't imagine having kids and still being here.

I'm 33 and this board is a constant reminder that I was also probably an annoying asshole with shit taste when I was a late teen/early 20-something.

I've asked that probably 20 times and no ones ever given me an answer.

>12 hours a day

Are you NEET or do you just have one of those jobs where you can browse the internet all day and no one gives a fuck?

millennials are faggots. i just don't like being grouped into a generation that is completely different. sorry, nigger. if you grew up with a cell phone you're not the same generation as me. it may not seem like much, but cellphones murdered childhood

I agree but I just know I'll still be here when I'm 35 and even 60.

The best time to not be rotting on Sup Forums is your youth. That's where all the opportunities are. When you're old, it doesn't matter. If you're a loser now, you'll be an even bigger loser then.

i'm going to remind you faggots everyday until you start listening

if you're not a millenial, you're either TOO young or TOO old to post here

the millennial generation ended in 96

thanks for completely missing the point of my post, you stupid illiterate "gen z" nigger

KILL YOURSELF

no, newfag. you're cancer. you're not what made Sup Forums great. you're what made it shit. you infest the corpse of a place made by people infinitely better than you. there's no age limit on Sup Forums you cancerous newfag nerd faggot

>acts like a bitch
>gets told
>enters hyper bitch mode

I've been successful in creative fields, you'd be surprised, but I'm a sperg, and basically a NEET now, as my savings is zilch. Unless my $200 in BTC sky rockets.

a millennial created Sup Forums, and the first users were millennials for many years. we literally built this site

>there's no age limit on Sup Forums

if you have to tell yourself this, you know you're too old to be here. leave

>still not understanding what my post meant

legit retardation. this is your last (You)

Ah, I've been a NEET without savings before too. Shit sucks dude.

you didn't do anything, newfag. joot is 29 years old. most of the actual oldfags are in their late 20s and early 30s. go away, newfag

Boardwalk Empire

all millennials
>b-b-but I'm different!
No, you're not. Shut the fuck up, bitch. You're a fucking millennial. You're not a special snowflake, you are the generation everyone online has been whining about. If you were whining about millennials, congratulations, you were shitting on yourself without even realizing and were too fucking retarded to spend 5 minutes to look it up on wikipedia. Now you know that generational labels are fucking useless. Either own up to it or shut the fuck up.

>most of the actual oldfags are in their late 20s and early 30

but that's what a millenial is. oh i get it, i'm being trolled. noice

whatever happened to being called Gen Y? what will Gen Z be called one day?

Most of it is millennials not knowing what the term means, or knowing the meaning but arguing for their own interpretation.
A lot of the old guard is in their 30s. I'm 31 and have been here since 2007.

Hopefully they'll be called reactionaries and get their shit together like the reactionary kids that were raised by hippies and started the economic boom in the 80's.

For me it doesn't suck, I enjoy being here more than being in meetings, having to compromise projects, and listening to 30omething FB users chat about Thor III

Where the hell is Baby's day out?

The lack of money is the part that sucks for me. Being able to funpost all day and night is great.

Soon-to-be 39 here. Been here since 2005.

Don't forget, you're here forever.

Also, exactly where the millennials start is somewhat disputed. Yeah, when the label was coined (or rather, when "Gen Y" was coined back in the late '80s), they drew an arbitrary line at 1982, but the point has been made since that you can't really define generational boundaries until the generation in question has reached adulthood. I would argue that it's a mistake to lump the early-'80s kids in with the late-'80s kids.

Recently, there's been a growing argument for carving the mid-to-late-'70s kids (like myself) out of Gen X (since we don't have that much in common with the '60s kids), and adding to us the early Gen Y up to about 1984-86, and considering it as an in-between generation (suggested labels include "Oregon Trail generation," "Atari generation," "NES generation," and the cringe-worthy "X-ennials"). The idea is that we too young to remember Vietnam, Watergate, etc., but old enough to remember rotary phones, black-and-white TV, regular (leaded) gasoline, station wagons, drive-in theaters, the Soviet Union, Ronald Reagan, most households not having a computer, etc.

Three Men and a Baby is pretty comfy 80s comedy. Three Men and a Little Lady is a shitty sequel where the concept doesn't work anymore and the ending is dumb

This.

And what responsible parent took a preschooler to Aliens?

The first movie on the list that millennials are likely to have seen in the theater as kids is The Little Mermaid.
