Godzilla (2014)

Godzilla (2014)
>introduce Godzilla

Kong: Skull Island (2017)
>introduce King Kong

Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019)
>big crossover movie
>use Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah without introducing them in any solo movies
>no Kong

Godzilla vs. Kong (2020)
>small crossover movie
>bring back Kong
>dont use any of the monsters from the previous movies

When will WB learn how to make a proper cinematic universe? Just copy Marvel or Toho !

Easy to just have them all be from Skull island desu. The not Kumonga was there!

Rampage (2018 film)
>using Godzilla and Kong pastiches when you own the rights to the actual original characters

They are definitely going to bring in some new or old monster in Godzilla vs Kong for them to team up and fight

So they got King of Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong backwards?
WHY? Why is this so hard?

Still better world building then the DCEU

Honestly the the only think the DCEU has going for it is that with the exception of WW is the world building. Each film has built from the last, BvS is because of the destruction in MoS, SS is because superman died and JL is also because of that. The DCEU has also established a few locations too, Gotham, Metropolis, Themyscira etc.

Probably Hedorah or Biollante

yea, two monsters completely unrelated to the established universe so far.

actually this is fine, its not like you need to give rodan or ghidorah much personality. ghidorah was just a big planet killer. Mothra and Godzilla are really the only ones here that deserve it

...

isn't mothra some big gay space butterfly and the other two are just big lizards? this really sounds like a watching porn for the plot kind of deal

>Godzilla vs. Kong (2020)
>>small crossover movie
>>bring back Kong
>>dont use any of the monsters from the previous movies

But they are from what I've heard.

Mothra is a magic butterfly
Rodan is big lizard
Ghidroah is a space hydra

>big lizards
hes a pteranodon ya dangus

so basically a big lizard

Whens the Mozilla movie coming?
Are they introducing him in like a small role or is he finally gonna show up on a solo movie ?

>trusting greek/latin source names
i suppose you think t rex was an actual lizard?

a big lizard

no, the t-rex was obviously an ancient dragon

>Mothra : I've killed things from other worlds before.
>Godzilla: Is she with you?
>Kong: I thought she was with you.

They're both turds. Check out Shin Godzilla

The only flaw is the "american" japanese girl. Her acting is so ridiculous it's comic relief, which is amusing more than it is annoying. It's the best monster movie to date

>Godzilla: King of Monsters
>Director
> Michael Dougherty

BRUH
LOOK AT THIS DOOD
OH NO NO NO NO NO HOHOHOHOHOHO
>WHEEEEEEEEEEZE

It's all over

>The only flaw is the "american" japanese girl.
fuck off, her terriber Engrish made her cute af

>writer of one of the only good x men
>writer of the last well received superman movie
sounds based

It really doesn't matter who they get to direct. The studio will be the real director

>recommending Shit Godzilla

*inhales*

even with a budget 1/5 of any american production, its still better than any american giant monster production of the past 20 years (sans maybe pacific rim because del toro actually tried) and any summer blockbuster capeshit.

I'll at least give edwards the benfit of the doubt because WB gave him a lackluster script and made him cut the takarada stuff

To a basehead

Lol, sure thing buddy-san.

>Mothra
Why did u say dat name!!!

Even with Monsters, it's obvious Edward's strong suit is scale and his weak point is human characters. Hell, just look at the battle of scariff from Rogue One. Most of the movie has shit characters but god damn you can feel the sheer size of that battle.

>better received all around the world
>better acclaimed all around the world
>pissed off weebs who got cucked out of an eva movie

just the way it is. It's not like 2014 is shit, its still better than many claim
>people actually thinking the 90s godzilla movies were better
