This show is like some kind of magic pill that cures all of my anxiety and makes life seem alright.
I'm watching it for the fourth time now and it just doesn't get old.

peep show is literally the GOAT
too bad nothing comes close in comedy, anywhere
I'm the opposite, I can't watch it because it feels like stabbing myself in the cringe gland and twisting the knife, and brings back every stupid thing I've ever done.
If there was even one other show that did this style of humor it would be too much. But having one show do it is nice. Nice show.
I watched a couple of episodes. It's your ordinary Brit dry humour (heh) but it's funny nonetheless even for le 56% like me.
Are there any shows like this currently on licensed Brit tv?
>ywn get the chance to smash a teenage goth with a sexy accent
It’s the most intense form of cringe humour, which I’m normally not Big oh but yeah, hilarious show. I guess because it actually has some wit along with the intense awkwardness though there’s plenty of that.
And in a moment straight out of the show I sit here staring at my spelling mistake and evidence of phoneposting.
>and then i go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like i... like you
choose
Mark's sister is easily prettier than all of them, but if I am going by this shit list I'll take Big Suze.
Peep show is appalling. It's awkward, cringey, slow, and just boring in general. Their Mitchell & Webb Show was much better.
Used to love it. Now I've become jaded Sup Forumstard and it just seems like a celebration of wallowing in degeneracy. Can't enjoy it any more.
The actress that played Big Suze is technically part of British royalty now. Something about her being posh totty just rocketed her up a few dozen points.
Love Peep Show. I just have to pause it every few minutes while I'm watching.
TV licenses are Europe wide, despite memes. They, in the UK, pay for BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 and the shows they produce. This means no adverts/commercials, so it's just TV and adverts for upcoming shows.
But those are the only channels we have. ITV and Channel 4 and so on. Peep Show was on Channel 4. Where they have adverts/commercials. They claim to be non-profit, as in, every penny they make goes into making a new show or improving a current one or another season. I call bullshit, but this is the channel that made Peep Show.
As for any show like it? No, not really. Comedies in the UK are either hit or miss. Very rarely is there a show which is 'OK background noise'. It's either 'Oh fuck turn it off' (Like Citizen Khan) or 'Shieeet I better pay attention' like Peep Show or IT Crowd or whatever. Channel 4 usually produces the best comedies these days.
Mitchell and Webb did do a new show together which isn't the same format but the same dark comedy and vibe of Peep Show. Sadly I can't remember what it's called.
Peep Show isn't a cringe show, it's a well written comedy that has some cringey moments. It's an insult to say it just relies on cringe.
If you want to watch a show that only relies on cringe, watch Hello Ladies
She's the husband of Lord Frederick Windsor, the Queen's cousin I think. She is technically and officially called Lady Frederick Windsor. But she uses her professional non-royal name for acting. Bit like how most actors don't put Sir or Dame in credits.

Nancy>russian whore>big suze>toni>zara
Favourite moment?
I think off the top of my head it's Jeremy eating that lasses dog he accidentally killed.
So licensed tv is just like cable but limited and regulated by the government?
What the fuck?
It's just a way of paying for the BBC without taxing people who don't own/use a TV.
No, "licensed" TV is any live TV at all. It's just the government's way of stealing money to pay for the BBC channels.
In terms of channels, we have what we call "basic" (which is normally an aerial, that gives BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 for free), "freeview" (which is a one-time payment for a box that lets you view a couple of dozen channels), and "satellite/cable" (which is a monthly subscription to a company like Sky or Virgin, and you get hundreds of channels).
>paying for antenna tv
What the actual fuck
>>paying for antenna tv
>What the actual fuck
Where are you getting confused here, because I didn't say "antenna" at all.
Isn't aerial tv antenna tv?
Oh, I misread.
The fucking twins.
Best scene coming through
Fuck you
It's called "Back". A really terrible name to give to a show in the age of search engines.
Pretty decent show, I'd say a bit less comedic or at least less joke-per-minute than Peep Show.
...
buying a separate box to get freeview, or digital tv is an ancient stop gap before digital tuners were built in to new tvs.
by new i mean after 2005.
the analogue broadcasts were shut off years ago so new tvs only have digital tuners
I like it but at some points it does get too cringe yeah
I'd put my dick in the Dob
Jeff's doing a joke.
Jeff's doing a joke
Everybody quite cos Jeff's doing a joke.
oops forgot image.
>She's the husband
this scene is impossible to get through in one sitting
That's disgusting. How could you even like that moment, let alone it be your favourite.
I feel exactly the same. This show is so comfy.
I choose Toni
What was going on in that party?
Anything>>>Dob
>I like you and if you can't handle it, you can just... you know, fuck off.
>letting Sup Forums ruin enjoyable things in your life
Unless your endgame is wanting to be as miserable as possible then you, sir, are a fucking idiot.
love it. thinking of ripping only the audio and listening before sleep
this is kino as fuck
The mockery of the hopes of a man privately interested in history, that neither has connections to academia, an education in it, nor has written always do hit me in ways that no other show does. It's so low key throughout the series
this
seriously fuck all the dob episodes
>they took it off Netflix
fucking hell. even the later seasons were fun to watch despite being objectively shit.
>it's an everyone lusts for Dobby episode
>it's a Dobby acts like a strong independent womyn episode
>it's a Dobby slowly ruins Mark's life with her indecisive behavior episode
There are literally no redeeming values for her
>they took it off Netflix
Are you sure? Works on my machine.
Yep, totally gone. Burger here. Then they took it off YouTube as well. Nowhere to watch the greatest British comedy of all time.
It's free on Amazon in my Burgerstate. Idk if I like it better than Black Books, but it's at least number 2.
it's a normie test
elena is better than any of these
girl at fertility clinic (pic related), Goth girl situationally, Mark's date in the robbery episode is sort of cute in a weird way. Dobby's shit but that bit with her getting Mark off in the supply closet was hot
Big Suze.
felt this way in my first watch through, had to tell myself they were all really actors that were all friends with one another having a blast. Second and third watch this didn't bother me and I was able to pick up a lot of minute details that make the series great
which one is jez's sister? that one
It was a Christmas joke, Mark
>these gays not picking shoe store/college girl
wow the homosexuality is palpable
>those pedophile jokes at the school reunion
The only genuinely cringy moment desu
Russia here, watched Peep Show yesterday on Netflix. Why are you lying, user?
