Post boring cliches.

>fire powers
>has anger issues

>superspeed
>is the comedic relief

>Fire powers
>Pyromaniac

>Fire powers
>Can shoot fire

>telekinetic powers
>emo personality

>fire powers
>fire-themed outfit

>hero has super powers
>he's also super-intelligent, a scientist and engineer

Some of these fuckers are too perfect. Wouldn't be surprised to find out they're packing a 15 inch long fat cock as well

>hair powers
>long hair

>fire powers
>makes fire puns

>Fire powers
>Accidentally killed someone close to them

>african american
>electric powers

>Ice powers
>Makes ice puns

>water powers
>can't breath outside water

Female love interest bullies the male protagonist because she has a crush on him.

>telepath
>"I know what you're going to say next"

EVERY PART STRETCHES

Anything over 8 inches is just for show

>create threads
>is a faggot

>robot powers
>tries to be "more human"

>fag powers
>is OP

Is this a Jojo reference

is THIS a JoJo reference???

What took you cocksuckers so long?

>skeleton powers
>I'VE GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU

>power of money
>strongest in the world

>no powers
>"Awww, why do YOU GUYS get to have all the fun??"

>telepath
>is a giant douche
I know they probably have very little concept of privacy, but still

>ability to fly
>"Its a bird! Its a plane!, Its..."

I wish writers would break archetypes up a little. I remember some /tg/ homebrew setting with superheroes and some of the characters there were great subversions.

I remember some japanese sarariman character who was all about order, and business and suits and neatly parted hair and when some assassins showed up he calmly blew them away with a firestorm, fixed his tie and went right back to the quarterlies. His hero name name was Invincible Fire Tornado and he just refused to give a shit about the whole superhero thing despite having superpowers. It was so interesting in a weird way, cause you'd assume everyone would be all over this super shit but not this guy.

There was also a guy with orange hair, a fiery personality and a fire related codename. His thing was ice control and he did the entire thing as legerdemain, to be seem twice as powerful, he even had hidden flamers with it and later rebranded himself as 'Elemental Man'

I also loved how about half of the supervillains except the super durable ones died to regular old sniper bullets fired by random SWAT officers.

>fire powers
>likes spicy food

>is one of the richest men in the world, has trained in martial arts since childhood, had his parents murdered in front of him, and dresses up as a nocturnal animal to fight criminals
>casuals think he's more "relatable" than the other heroes who live normal lives and careers, just that they have superpowers

>magic user
>if male = generic wizard
>if female = goth and/or evil woman in a bikini

>YOHOHOHO

>Burn baby burn!

Magic user dress codes exist for a reason, user.

>electric powers
>is a nigger

>I ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
>I KNEW YOU'D SAY-THAT

>comedic relief
>is fat or has a large appetite

>fire powers
>has fire powers

>Somebody get this hothead outta here!
jesus christ

>electric man
>African American powers
enough with this shit

>has no powers
>becomes a jerk when they acquire powers

This, it's either a black man or a villain power

>joke character
>breaks 4th wall

>Female character with super strength
>Isn't buff, large, or even that tall.

>villain is a white guy, usually bald

>is self aware and makes 'clever' jokes

Truth be told, I'd become a jerk too.

DCAU J'onn was nice, he never seemed to pry.

Aye

>electricity powers
>black
>purple/yellow motif

Any combination of the three really.

>Barry neck snapps Grodd
>Flash of murder memes never stop

pls

That will never stop being funny.

>Superspeed
>Can run fast

>Teleportation powers
>Is a villain

>Superspeed
>always packaged with super stamina

running 5 miles in 1 second vs running it in 1 hour is still 5 miles worth of running.

>skeleton powers
>don't be such a BONEHEAD

But people who literally have it all do exist. Guy I went to high school with works as a model as a side job, has a PhD in computational physics and makes more money than you can realistically use. It's unfair but they're out there.

>status quo achieved at end of episode, character never grows or changes again

>Vampire
>Necrophiliac

>"smart" character
>has a posh accent
>is patronizing to everyone
>says extremely basic things in the most wordy and roundabout way possible

Bonus points if he spews random nonsense like "the square root of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of its unilateral counterparts"

>Hispanic character
>fire powers

>"IN ENGLISH PLEASE"

>ghost powers
>isn't dead

Monty Python's Flying Circus?

But electric powers are awesome.

>can transform into animals
>turns into a small animal to distract the enemy instead of crushing everything as a dinosaur

>lower-middle class punk
>wears the same outfit everyday, is implied to sleep in it without washing it

>Twins
>Depend from each other to use their powers

>I remember some japanese sarariman character who was all about order, and business and suits and neatly parted hair and when some assassins showed up he calmly blew them away with a firestorm, fixed his tie and went right back to the quarterlies
They had good taste it seems

>brother and sister
>have opposing powers (fire/ice, plus/minus)

this sounds cute but I've never actually seen it

>Character has no powers.
>Everyone else jobs when they're around.

>kid hero
>overly contentious with adults
>lol fug school, broccoli a shit amirite? xD
Anyone else not have a problem with vegetables as a kid? Maybe the writers' parents didn't put any butter on their vegetables, that shit made it great.

>Has super strength
>Is also super durable

>Hero is white
>villain is rarely anything but a white man
>Hero is black
>villain is rarely anything but a white man
>Hero is pushing a modern liberal agenda
>villain is rarely anything but a white man, and they'll really nail that fact into you

give me one Richard Reed 'Bazinga' and I'll fuckin' kill myself right now.

>villain is a psychopathic murderer
>but he's nowhere near as evil as that balding middle-aged fat man who hates gays & blacks and thinks women aren't as badass as men

>Has powers or abilities that have nothing to do with muscles
>Has the body of Superman

A lot of X-Men are guilty of this one, it always bothered me.

>hero is Asian
>is one of like, five in existence
>hero is Hispanic in America
>family migrated illegally/is impoverished
>hero is Muslim
>vanilla as fuck, probably second generation in immigrant family
>hero has left leaning ideals/beliefs
>is extremely outspoken, often has conflict with (insert southern stereotype)
>non-main-character is Asian
>insert swords, muh honor, [CHINESE OR JAPANESE], kung fu/karate, and/or a ninja/samurai motif
They can't keep getting away with it.

On a related note

>redhead
>angry/passionate/temperamental

So like, what does that leave?

I remember them explaining this in-universe as some genetics shit that allows them to get swol fast

>character isn't as shallow as a puddle of water on a flat surface

>subversion
>it's literally just the opposite of their stereotype in a completely blatant way

Can't Scott just care about looking great?

>only fat character has a fat-related power

>>non-main-character is Asian
>>insert swords, muh honor, [CHINESE OR JAPANESE], kung fu/karate, and/or a ninja/samurai motif

Or they're the other stereotype, super science/math genius.

>white people get to be smart and are able to be good at kung fu and are rich (Batman)
>but its racist if an asian person is the same
?????????

They still gotta run from giant robots and werewolves and whatever the fuck

They cant be fatasses and run out of breath in the middle of a battle

Besides they lose their powers every other week so its handy to be /fit/

...

>cliche happens
>"wow, how cliche."

The problem is that's basically the only two ways Asians are ever portrayed. That or they're the goofy harmless jokes. White people get to be anything, others get put into a few boxes.

it's just really shitty art, a trend started in the late 80s and 90s

>Twins
>There's the occasional non-platonic moments between them.

Uh...I've never seen this. Example?

Unless you mean they're into vampire women, but that's not what "necrophiliac" usually means.

>fire powers
>"Let's turn up the heat!"

Could've sworn black heroes like Panther and Cage have had numerous black villains. Plus they've been race bending the villains of white heroes too.

>Teleportation powers
>Actually just time stopping powers

Yeah, other poster is full of shit. Black heroes have black villains all the time.
