It's not time to join him in the Sun.

Couldn't tell i fell asleep.

we dont

we dont, its great

who the fuck is "we" you insufferable faggots

this guyand meobviously you dumb cunt

This is sad, i really had some hope about JL (by snyder, he was putting some effort at least, fuck whedon), but too bad the movie turned out some sort of horrible tryhard quipfest with hundreds of reshoots and removed content just to "appeal" the fans

I can't remember anything other than explosions.

only plebs hate it

I remember Sup Forums bashing this movie every fucking day for years, with only a few of us defending it, while recognizing its flaws, and being vilified for it. Now its suddenly contrarian to like it because everyone is bored of Marvel's quipfests.

Calling it: 4 years from now everyone here is going to be praising The Force Awakens as brilliant.

dubs don't lie.

Because of the uncanny valley of ridiculousness in making a flying, indestructible alien from the 1930's deal with modern societal issues.

Because it was garbage.

Why don't you ask Zod's snapped neck

because it's capeshit

It was kino except for the ending fight scene. Should have been shorter. Actually, the whole 3rd act could have been shorter.

I love man of steel. The opening drags on a bit too long but it's a great film otherwise

I wanna wrap my mouth around his tits

we don't, it's mostly marvel fan boys and "not muh superman" nerds

>uncanny valley

You are using this term wrong

Superman Returns was better. Kevin Spacey is Lex Luther.

>Superman Returns was better.
>Superman Returns
>was better.
....Oh, God....Oh- God!....OH, MERCIFUL GOD!!
user... you're....RIGHT....
Are....are we in hell?

Bad storytelling, bad editing, bad use of flashbacks, poorly-written characters, excessively long climactic battle.

It's not really terrible, but neither is it great, and people who say it is are fucking idiots.

...

i don't remember Lex molesting lil boys

On top of that, if they were really trying to make this version of Supes so different from the Richard Donner Supes...why did they still kill off Pa kent?
Killing of Johnathan Kent was just something that happened in the comic books recently(at the time) before the first Superman movie got made.
Pa Kent dying is NOT what made Clark decide to become Superman.
That lazy-ass shit scripting needs to stop.

no nipples on the suit

I can tell who the fuck is "we".

Honestly it wasn't that bad. I'm not a huge Superman fan so the whole snapped neck thing didn't really jiggle my nerd glands. The apocalyptic destruction went a little bit too long, but other than that, it was mostly enjoyable and left a good taste in my mouth - almost like I would have sucked Zack's fat cock and swallowed, but I could take it.

>Now its suddenly contrarian to like it because everyone is bored of Marvel's quipfests.

No it's not contrarian, it's sublimely ironic that in the end MoS is being redeemed in retrospect because every single new DC movie has been objectively worse.
This is exactly the same dynamic for prequels and NuWars btw.

It was three movies stiched together

The way too long prologue, where they turned a origin that could be fit into a single page, into a whole battle and Zod shuffling around the chairs on the titanic. Was still the best part.

Then the middle is this LOOOOOOOOOOONG BORING MELODRAMATIC bullshit, where Clark gets horrible advice and is a helper monkey hobo.

The the third act is this LOUD, DUMB, destruction porn where you just know that Zack Snyder jacked off to 9/11.

It's unironically the best DCEU movie

>MUH DESTRUCTION
>MUH LET FATHER DIE

It's basically the same shit arguments. It wasn't a perfect movie, it had its flaws but it was good.

Thats like a teacher saying that a kid shitting on the floor is an improvemnt of the rest of the kids shitting their pants.

It was good for a DC movie, considering the abominations that followed it.

people fear what they don't understand

Because NOT MUH SUPERMAN!

Fucking 10/10 scene

youtube.com/watch?v=meVnJzHDziU

It was very boring.

Is...is he smiling?

>subscribing to a hivemind when everyone is anonymous
This is how I know Reddit has taken over

snyder apologists

>contrarian
Sup Forums in a word

Seriously... How did DC fuck up the rest of the EU when this was a great stepping stone?

because it's atrocious

as a movie and even more so as a superman film

>But millions of children will be molested...
>BILLIONS!

Man of Steel gave us trailers, at least. Combined with All-Star Superman I can't think of a more perfect summation of who Superman is, or why he's the ideal hero to look up to be.

>we don't have a Superman to save us from ourselves

youtu.be/-cYR5MFb8Rc

it was a good super hero flick that actually tried to respect itself

what's the point watching superhero shit if they all quip and laugh at their own existence nonstop

Because it was a gloomy mess, and it got Superman utterly wrong.

>From the same people hates Ang lee's Hulk and praises Norton's Hulk for being a proper Hulk movie

You people still think the average viewers can handle Kino?

no idea

Man of steel is great (except snapped neck, father dying)

The action is amazing

WE

Why didn't the invisible son just save his dad instead of stopping?

>takes the fight from a secluded field into a populated town where dozens are killed

kek

I never hated it. It's one of my favourite capeshits

>dozens
MILLIONS
TO SAVE BILLIONS
AND MARTHA

because in Snyders bleak, autistic world everybody is an irrational bigot with no sense of wonder that would instantly get out their torches and pitchforks against an alien determined to do good like saving his fucking father.

>Pa Kent dies saving dog
>dog backwards is god
>Superman becomes a god
Whoa so this is true Snyder kino
Based, simply based!

This image is too true.

The villain in Superman Returns was going to use Kryptonian crystals to make a new wasteland continent and drown others in the process. Because Lex and 3 of his goons were on the island, they were going to rule the new world because they supposedly own it when other people are going to have to live there. Brilliant plan and villain. Lex is a genius.

We don't. It's kino.

...

>a lifetime of pent-up frustration and anger all let loose at once
>not thinking clearly

TALK ABOUT A PLOT HOME AMIRITE

That emo shit is so cringeworthy.

Me, personally, no irony, Ive seen it three times in theatres, when it was fresh. I've seen it at least three more times since and it still is ten/ten kino. It's the best capeshit ever. It's the most human capeshit ever. It's even more 'realistic', than those Nolan films. Sup Forums managed to ruin it for me with stop invincible son memes, because yes, he could have saved him, but NO, plebs, he could not! He was not the Superman at the time. He was still a kid. But his father's death inspired him to become the Superman. and NO, he couldn't have done much better not destroying all the buildings in Metropolis. He did his best. He's flawed. He's just an average Joe, except with Kryptonian superpowers. How well you think you'd do?

tl;dr fuck haters MoS is God tier with Watchmen

HAHAHAHAH

He probably wasn't thinking straight and all he had in mind was to kill the bitch

Agree completely with everything you said.

>He's flawed

This is why a lot of people hate it, because they say Superman isn't supposed to have flaws, he's supposed to be perfect and 100% good and perfect and all that shit, just like Captain America, it's impossible for him to be mean or do something that is wrong or bad or whatever.
But MoS portrays him as very human (even though he isn't actually human) which makes him much more relatable and also makes for a way more interesting story because it makes him a way more interesting character.
I also agree with you on Watchmen, probably my favorite capeshit of all time.

>perfect and 100% good and perfect
I'm half asleep so I'm apparently talking like a retard

The part I hated the most out of this movie, apart from Pa Kent killing himself for no reason, was how Superman didn't have to defeat Faora or the other giant dude. They just died in a stupid explosion.

They were great characters and as I was watching the movie I kept thinking "I wonder how Superman is gonna defeat them, they seem as strong as he is"

What a letdown in the end. Zod couldn't even kill 1 family before dying either, lame.
