Literally did nothing wrong

>literally did nothing wrong

It's his fault that Cersei grew up to be a terrible person.

>literally did nothing right

He fucked up with his kids. All of them.
Fucked up by not liquidating Dany and her baby dragons as King Joffrey the Wise insisted

>Was so fucking obsessed with the image of a perfect Lannister family that he willingly ignored the rumors about his own fucking children having sex with each other

All the cruel things he did was just damage control for his tard family.

Based grandpa.

>He killed millions

>literally did nothing wrong

>the gods combined killed billions

How long does it take for him to take a shit? Tyrion managed to kill a whore, steal a crossbow and walk in on Tywin while he was still shitting.

>doesn't notice his cupbearer is arya stark

Cersei did nothing wrong.

Grandpappies take a while to shit sometimes

Why the fuck would he? They'd never met before then and he had more pressing problems on his mind - like winning a continental war - to notice.

Why did he have to fucking sack the capital? Honestly it feels unnecessary.
>muh fear me im ebil
It doesn't make sense to destroy your capital city when there is no opposition

the main thing was he noticed she was lying about her identity and was probably noble but then didn't do shit about it

literally did one thing terribly wrong which led to his death

Irrationally blaming your son for the death of your wife and treating him like shit was wrong of him. I understand Cersei blaming Tyrion for their mother's death because she's a stupid bitch but Tywin was supposed to be intelligent and logical.

Michael Corleone:

"He ever think that maybe by trying to be strong, and trying to protect his family, that he could lose it instead?" Michael got his answer.

Yes. Tywin drove two of his brothers away and alienated his sons.

Tywin's strength is an artificial, reactive strength. One in which changing your mind or smiling is weakness, laughter is mocker, etc.

It leads to a disconnection from mercy, empathy and love. For example, punish your son by gang raping a girl? Gregor Clegane did that and he is a sociopath. Tywin did that to Tyrion's wife.

No, the rot goes deeper.

>ordered the Mountain to murder 2 babies, making enemies of Dorne for 15 years
>allowed his first son to join the king's guard
>didn't realise his twin son and daughter were fucking
>got his ass handed to him repeatedly by a 14 year old boy, had to resort to making an entire family social pariahs by murdering guests at a wedding
>constantly belittled his youngest son for whoring even though he loved the whores too
>failed to recognise Tyrion's talent for politics and ruling and was fine with putting him to death
>died on the shitter

2/10, deserved exactly what he got

friendly reminder that he was repeatedly outsmarted by a literal 15 year old

...

well it's not like it isn't explained clearly that his wife was he only weak spot and I think he had to murder someone to get her. Tyrion is essentially Tywin in that regard.

...

He did almost everything wrong. Sure he was pragmatic and machiavellian to a tee, but he got outsmarted several times by a 15-year old boy and had to bribe some old fuck to stab said boy in the back. He depended almost entirely on his wealth and fear. His great success stories just involves him sitting on the fence and then joining the winning side. The rest was just sheer luck. Like Stannis killing Renly with shadow magic instead of them joining forces against him. Or the Tyrells joining him in exchange for a royal marriage. He knowingly ignored his most talented son because he was a dwarf that also "killed" his wife during birth. He turned a blind eye to the worst kept secret in the world, that his twin kids were fucking each other and cucking Robert. He was a disaster who lucked out and who could only rule through fear and bribery.

He did have an underaged girl raped in front of Tyrion by all his guards to teach his son a lesson.

I'd say that was wrong.

True patricians realise that Catelyn did nothing wrong.

>implying Tully fucking shits every do anything right

*burns alive daughter*

Aside from the crazy bitch, they did absolutely nothing wrong

There was opposition. The Crownlanders and City Watch started resisting the moment they figured out the Lannister army wasn't there to reinforce them. Alliser Thorne was sent to the Wall for it.

To be fair, Robb's victories stem as much from his very capable lieutenants as it does him. Tywin never had a Blackfish underling/advisor save for his brother Kevan who, whether he wanted to admit it or not, had become something of a capable sycophant to Tywin.

only idiots think this way, beside Edmure Tully's ruin everything

he didn't throw the little demon off the rock when it was born

So? So fucking what?
