Ronnie is what Owlturd and Sarah Scribbles WISH they could be. On their best day they can't hold a candle to Ronnie's pure, ORGANIC sense of comedic failure and depression.

Ronnie is just too over the top sometimes, the "i am a desperate fat lonely weeaboo" punchline doesn't always flow naturally

He's got a really charming art style and clearly puts more than 5 minutes of thought into his punchlines. All those wannabe "I'm so quirky, I can't adult today, lol depression" comics come off as insincere. Like, you know the person writing them is some well-off modestly attractive 20-something who has never had to really deal with anything but wants to feel unique for watching Netflix under a large blanket.

With Ronnie's strips, it goes that little extra inch that makes it just a bit TOO specific and, in some cases, a bit TOO relatable. And not in the "haha, I too procrastinate on my work!" kind of bullshit relatable.

Stuff like that not only makes you laugh, but also makes you feel a deep, genuine pain inside your soul. That's how you know the joke is really working.
