It's subjective. You'll cry at things you can relate to, so this

There's a really sad video that I'm not going to link because it's so fucking depressing, but if you want, search "fox and the hound sad scene" on youtube, and you'll end up killing yourself.

Seconding La La Land.

The little prince.

I cried like a bitch.

If you have a daughter watch this

How bout a mirror

I read the book when I was like 19 or 20 as part of a French class and it really fucked me up. It's an incredible depiction of the kind of longing and melancholy you feel when you think back on the magic of being a child and realize it's all gone.

Whenever I watch The Great Gatsby (leo one) and The Age of Innocence always makes me cry like a little bitch

La la Land

Didn't make me cry but at least made me year up.

just youtube 'rip lil peep'

The part that got me was letting the bla bla him so that he could go back to his bla. Something about that metaphor tore me in two.

GO LOOK IN THE MIRROR

>la la land

are you dudes fucking serious? it's an oscar bait musical, it's not sad at all.

Click

A Monster Calls

Train to Busan

Problem Child 2

It's not supposed to be sad, but the ending thing is really over the top and made me cry.

It is supposed to be sad at the end but it's no where near some of the sad movies that are out there.

I didn't actually find it sad at all, I mean, I'm not a very romantic person. I think what made me emotional was just how they sped it up to create an incredibly emotionally dense moment. Kind of like the ending of Toy Story 3 which is in no way sad, but a lot of people cried during it because it was just so overwhelming.

The Matrix

The impending doom of characters/a relationship that you have invested in should invoke sadness if done correctly.

>fox and the hound sad scene
aw fuck this was one of my favorite movies growing up, I totally forgot about this

>Ryan Gosling finally opens up the club of his dreams
>Emma Stone starts a family and becomes a famous actor

>this is supposed to be sad
