Alara a shit
STOP BULLYING!!!
>Alara Edition
My God she looked good in that episode.
Stop bullying her!
Honestly I would not be surprised if "Andy" didn't exist and Alara just made him up so as not to sound like a virgin. She had no idea what John was talking about when he said "grindy" and was completely lost and awkward at the officer's party, the most social situation we have seen her in.
Alara was made for bullying!
racemixing is wrong anyways
When do we get the episode where she goes to her home planet gets bullied? I want to really be mean and give her wedgies and slap her around a lot.
inb4 salty butthurt trekkies
Great show.
>Maybe it's time to come home, and get your degree. I'm just saying its possible.
>Just because you're a little slow doesn't mean you can't get there if you work hard enough.
>A lot of intellectually deficient people find a place for themselves here. That is the beauty of Xelayan.
Played by Taylor swift and her squad
giv retard stronk gf!
What do you think her daily job as security chief actually involves?
Spying on people?
Chiding people who break the rules?
Breaking up arguments and fights between people?
Searching for contraband?
Is her job more Odo or Worf?
I can imagine she'd get quite busy when the ship is docked or during a dangerous mission, but I'm guessing that during travel times she has very little to do.
Also I know that security chief and tactical officer shouldn't be the same job (Worf), but it's pretty amusing how she's the communications officers when on the bridge, going all Uhura with 'opening channel' and 'damage reports'.
I guess they need her to do something if she's going to be on the bridge.
Oh no! y best Gril is crie?
She appears to be a general logistics officer in addition to security. She made the housing arrangements for the Krill prisoners and the two species in the BLUED episode.
>Alara, damage report
>Um... the damage reporting machine is broken
>We have got to get better people
Everyone bullies Alara. Even the Doctor. They are all just jelly at her beauty, and super strength. She can also fly through the air when she needs to. They are all Jelly at how awesome she is.
So command uniforms are blue.
Engineering/maintenance is orange.
Security is red.
Medical is green.
Civilian? is grey.
So then, what color would science be? Green as well?
>tfw she has retard strength
>hire 10/10 Stacy for a role
>make her a bullied dumbo
Is West finally learning the craft of waifubaiting?
I didn't think of that. It makes sense to combine the two.
Its all basically ensuring the ship runs as smoothly as possible.
I JUST WANT HER TO RIP MY DICK OFF WITH HER KEGEL MUSCLES WHILE CRUSHING MY SKULL LIKE A GRAPE OKAY
Those are just bants.
Any crew that feels comfortable around each other will have bants.
>tfw too retarded to date males in-species
After yesterdays episode this was so sad. She's an actual retarded person on her planet.
Strength aside, she probably even thinks her human peers who are of equal intelligence as her are considered retarded on her planet. So unless she brings home a genius, she'd be bringing home a "retarded" person to meet her all her parents and friends. That's got to be a tough situation.
Yup medical and science are the same. Though Claire does have a 'lab coat' variation of it seems to make her stand out as head doctor.
>Sticks her tongue out while working
> A race of super strong super intelligent beings
So Da Vinci in Futurama basically
>a race of super strong, super intelligent beings
>they aren't all black
So unrealistic
>strong super
not on their own planet. Given how they view the military I doubt they're that strength originated either.
That doesn't even answer the question
Maybe other species can't survive on their world due to the gravity, giving them an inherent sense of superiority while also protecting them from invasion.
Did her parents actually call her slow? I went back and rewatched that part and it isn't in the version I have.
see
those are the actual lines i believe
It’s like the first thing they say to her.
are you also retarded?
Doesn't gravity make blood pool at your feet, wouldn't that mean if they went to environment with different gravity they would be fucked ? or does that only apply to other planets
The person asked how the colors were chosen and he answers with what the colors are.
Meant for So maybe I am.
>OMG! What are you doing?
>No NO!
>HELP!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
;_;
>The person asked how the colors were chosen and he answers with what the colors are.
he literally didnt you retard
he was just wondering what color science was
Not if their circulatory system was robust enough to handle it, I imagine Alara's heart is the size of a horse's.
Astronauts today have survived for more then a year in zero-g.
It's not without it's downsides but it's totally doable.
Add to that future medicine and it's fine.
I just assume the away team takes a pill or something whenever they land on a slightly earth-different planet, and that the non-human crew on board the ship do the same.
I've been doing that for the other Star Trek shows as well, assuming that's it's such a minor piece of routine that it's never shown.
I mean in the tweet that was posted
OOOOOOH shit im retarded
sorry
u rite u rite
I've never felt so dumb. Not only did I miss that entire exchange while I was intently watching the episode, but I missed it when I went back and explicitly listened for it.
I just went back and went through it a 3rd time and sure enough it was there. I don't know what's happening to me.
Interesting thought;
The holodeck could generate restraints strong enough to hold her. But she got out anyway.
So maybe the simulation isn't trying to kill her, only to scare her.
It'll force her into each following fear scenario, only to then offer a way out so she can go to the next one.
So while there was actual danger in case anything went wrong, the program wasn't trying to kill her.
Just moving her from setup to setup.
And every time she overcomes one, she gets given a means to remove it and move on to the next one.
maybe your mind blocked it out
like a defense mechanism
no bully plz
post yfw
...
stop watching porn
...
Are his red eyes lower then his usual blue eyes?
I dont think so. His blue eyes turn red. Which, looked really fucking cool
They were just reinforced to hold her, but still possible to be broken out of. You'd be surprised what the body is capable of when it's under duress and adrenaline takes over.
The REAL question is, are there no safety protocols for their holodeck, since she was pretty messed up at the end.
you have been visited by the slow xelayan of snuggly sleep
snuggly sleeps and bravery will come to you but only if you reply "be brave lil xelayan" to this post
Who would actually care about their gf being super strong?
>Blocks Your Path.
interesting theory
I was waiting for something spooky to happen but it actually turned into a real nice ending felt a lot like TNG.
>yfw you realize Alara's super strength isn't related to gravity at all, it's just retard strength and she uses "gravity" to hide she's a special ed officer
>implying dark side isaac wasn't scary
desu the parts where isaac goes ham on meatbags are the best parts in the series
see: Into the Fold
alara brainlet edit when
She overrode them remember?
More like /poorville/ since the set design, writing and CG is so fucking shitty. This is a teen/tween series and you are babby for watching it.
People who don't want their dicks crushed
I meant the last scene with user's picture, I was expecting something spooky in the background or some kind of pop up scare.
Oh yeah. I get it.
Maybe a single tarantula would have been spooky
Course, that wouldnt really make any sense
Her pajamas looked comfy. I bet none of the dudes she dated would want to snuggle
...
I want to snuggle my hands into her soft pajama pants
You're wrong. Practical effects, ship models, and makeup are top notch. Wouldn't be surprised to see it win an Emmy for it.
>"be brave lil xelayan"
What type of fabric do you think they are made of? I need to know ....for reasons.
>They were just reinforced to hold her
They were just a simulation.
They can be as strong or as weak as they need to be.
And as it turned out, they were just strong enough for her experience the fear scenario, and just weak enough for her to break out afterwards.
she didn't technically need to override any "safetys" all the episode states is she overrode the ability for anyone to interrupt the program
she could have been in no real danger at all, afterall, she didn't know it
The mess hall is the only set I don't care for.
I was expecting a last scare as well, but I'm glad they didn't go with a cheap ending like that.
If anything waiting for it to happen was scarier. I only relaxed when I saw the credits appear.
Velour.
Fair. Not saying it doesn't have faults. But at least their turbolifts have music.
What? Her heart is probably just super strong and normal sized, like the rest of her muscles.
be brave lil xelayan
heres my upvote!
What don't you like about it?
It's Seth. He's blacklisted from winning an Emmy. Even more now after the Family Guy episode about the Emmys too probably
>i only relaxed when i saw the credits appear
Same here, I didn't know what would happen but it's so much better that it didn't.
i want to ____ her rosy little nose ;_;
I want more Isaac or Bortus episodes. They're hilarious.
Isaac always gets kino framing
...
Season 2 is Issac focused apparently. I'm guessing the Kaylons decide to start some shit. Maybe go full borg
this is the second time I've read this, what's the source?
This guy knows whats up
Guys, where do you watch The Orville?
fox.com has the episodes for free
I think
comicbook.com
>Any chance we'll get to see Kaylon, his home planet?
>MJ: I believe there were plans originally for this season to see Kaylon, but I think they might be pushed to a possible second season. So, we're not seeing Kaylon this time, but we're going to learn a lot more about it.
