I think that whenever they end the MCU, they'll take inspiration from Old Man Logan and do a story like that but with Stark, as he was the first character we were introduced to in the MCU. However, since Disney it would probably be more hopeful, something like

>Hawkeye dies by whoever they choose as bad guy, maybe a final resolution to the Mandarin thing
>Tony puts on the Iron Man suit for the first time

The only good concept in Old Man Logan is the badass blind Hawkeye. OML is actually an Avengers story about the last stand of the 2 remaining Avengers on Earth. The only good thing about old Logan was his relationship with baby Hulk, and the interesting premise of Logan raising the son of his mortal enemy in the dystopian future. And if i' m not wrong BBj, became a hero eventually, in the story with the OML becoming the Hooded man.
