Tarkovsky
Contemporary means XXI ciecle
...
Oh excuse me. Tarkovsky, nigger.
literally everything by Andrey Zvyagintsev
Too bad I've literally seen everything by him already.
Brother 2
thats a lot of fat
If you want kino, but already saw all Zvyagintcev's movies, watch Balabanov
based sokurov
You need it when you’re a peasant in below 0 temperature
Хapдкop.
I've seen both Brother movies, what's next?
I don't like him.

Leviathan
Thoughts on "Me Too"?
Aleksei German Jr and Sr if you haven't seen him yet. Also Учeник was pretty good
"Of Freaks and Men" for something completely different and art-housy.
Or "War" if you want something in vein of Brothers.
"Zhmurki" if you want dark comedy that perfectly catches russian life in the 90-s (if you're not russian you won't get it, probably, but the same goes to any other Balabanov movie).
"Cargo 200", "Morphine", "The Stoker" if you really want to know why there are so many suicides in Russia and why those who doesn't commit one have that soulless and tired look.
haven't seen it
Why not enjoy an exotic take on capeshit/spaceshit extravaganza

Seen everything. Extraordinary stuff. Hard to be a God is completely unique. Better than Tarkovsky and probably everyone else. Gonna check out Учeник
