Life 2017

Has anyone seen this fucking movie?

It's the best alien movie I've seen in years.

Can we talk about this?

Also horror general I guess.

Are you serious? Almost every major decision made by a character once the alien became a problem was fucking retarded. The half-hearted "mislead" at the end was retarded and I can't imagine a single viewer got tricked by it (unless they still somehow thought the movie couldn't be that stupid). The alien went from a cool design to a standard monster about halfway through the movie. There was no tension at all. What exactly did you like about it?

it's an Alien rip off (crew dispatched one by one) with an obvious ending
that said, I still enjoyed it
call me a pleb/retard idgaf

>Fun monster
>Deaths seemed pretty meaningful
>Depressing
>Not just gore porn

Dunno I'm starved for good space/sci-fi horror so you recommend me some new stuff?

Pretty much but it's way, way better than Prometheus or indeed anything the alien franchise has done this millennia.

It was pretty alright yes, far better than the senile pretentious far fetched bullshit Scott has come up with recently.

5.3/10

>nigger scientist

DROPPED

The effects on the monster were very good.

Other than that though this entire thing was complete trash.

>WE WUZ
He's a two-fer, black and disabled.

But as he's a bong, I actually assume it's fairly realistic in a way - I mean he's educated.

It had a pretty good atmosphere though.

I know Sup Forums hates everything.

It really isn't user

There hasn't been a good alien move in years user.

The alien creature design was pretty original and well done. Everything else was fucking terrible though.

I saw it, had little expectations and still got disappointed. A shit.

What was wrong with it?

Everything. The entire premise. The set pieces. The terrible dialogue/acting. The quips. The absolutely moronic character motivations. The monster was the only good part of the movie and even it had plot armor out the ass but that's to be expected in a flick like this.

Fair enough, any other good creepy thing on a spaceship movies from the last ten years?

that movie was such a turd

>hurr the ISS has only 1 radio on board and the alium drank the cooling fluid

I didn't watch it until the end. Only about 20 minutes into the movie. Seemed like a waste of time that I could do spending watching something else or do something else.

>crushed hand dangling
>in zero g

better than covenant by far

ryan death's actually caught me off guard and the gore was great

It had great potential and the handshake scene and the second kill ware great but thats it.

Could it have come out that way? It looked pretty mangled.

It was okay.

Rebecca Ferguson looked great.
was disappointed we didn't get a snuff scene with her TBQH

A b-movie with good actors and above average special effects.
The ending twist made me kinda mad when I first viewed it but in hindsight thanks to it the movie isn't super bland.

it was very clearly affected by gravity

Nearly everything. I liked the beginning, it starts by showing some potentially interesting characters with different traits. But then it does absolutely nothing with them. And the rest is just B-tier "horror" flick, everyone is dumb, monster kills a bunch of people, and at the end they try to make it look like at least one of them is saved but HAHA NO WHAT A TWEEST. Weak as fuck.

Why did they have to give it a face. Lost so much of its presence when they did that
