What the fuck happened to Boomerang...

What the fuck happened to Boomerang? I remember it used to be a fun channel for old shows but now it's just re-runs of current CN's shows and the old shows are late at night. It's like Disney XD except it's where all CN's worse shows go.

They're currently planning on airing Billy and Mandy, Sylvester and tweety shorts and some other shit

Kids don't get into old shows, it's really sad.

Where else shows are going to go seeing Cartoon Network is filling up their schedule with MORE FUCKING TEEN TITANS GO!

But TTG is on Boomerang too

They already air TTG and NU-PPG on Boomerang.

But young adults do!

Because the Ted Turner and the Jews who run Turner Broadcasting believe that nobody cares about cartoons before 2005.

Kids don't want old cartoons because they're shit. New cartoons are shit too but the difference is that CN paid a lot of money for those seasons of NuPPG so they gotta do something with them.

>Kids don't want old cartoons because they're shit
Them's fightin' words here, user

IT'S FUCKING PAN'S FAULT

HE WANTED BOOMERANG TO REBRAND

Yeah I said it. Truth be told I feel like I'm broken for not liking older stuff but then again the Ford Model T was pretty fucking shit too, being a landmark monument in automotive history doesn't really make the product itself inherently any better.

This is Boomerang Argentina schedule, A 3rd world shithole, Which is better than US somehow

1/3

2/3

3/3

Friendly reminder of what was intended(sans the one Disney show)

What'd I do to you?

Except old cartoons > new cartoons even now
Nobody is saying old cartoons were perfect
Well, ATLA is near-perfect, but you know what I mean

Leave oldkino to me

I'm not sure if this is shitposting or not, since all (?) of those shows suck BAD.

I liked Mike Tyson Mysteries kind of and have heard good things about JLA. Everything else is either Ok Tier or Shit Tier though

>What the fuck happened to Boomerang?

Apparently they decided to become a Streaming Service. I'm assuming due to shit ratings because exactly of the problem of "it's just fucking re-runs".

Where does it say the actual channel is shutting down?

Maybe the ratings wouldn't be so bad if most of America wasn't strong-armed into subbing to the most expensive cable tiers just to watch it.

It's called capitalism. Deal with it, or vote for socialism.

I may be only 18 but I remember when I use to watch the old Scooby Doo cartoons, Yogi Bear and other older cartoons and I loved watching them on Boomerang

Seems more like it'll co-exist, at least for now.

What I want to know, is it strictly old shows like Tom and Jerry, or will it also have newer shows like Sonic Boom?

Though you'll probably have to deal with it anyways because socialism seems to be losing elections almost daily now.

it's a new service "complimentary" to the channel. $5 a month for old cartoons plus a wacky races reboot

No, it's literally just the CN app, but for Boomerang. The channel still lives.

Cartoon Network doesn't have their own personal streaming service.

But this will coexist, not replace.

This. Back when I was a kid I didn't like watching old school shows simply because the way the animation looked. But then I couldn't watch early seasons of my favorite show if it got an upgrade in animation like Spongebob for example
