>In the Forest of the Night
One of the most underrated episodes in all of Doctor Who's history. I cried when the girl's sister appeared in the bushes at the end. This sort of thing is exactly what Doctor Who is all about.

...

i destroyed the last thread completely.

Why did you do it?

Fuck you libcuck

What the fuck

Okay I understand what's wrong with being liberal but why do you care about what other people do in their bedroom?

cos it made me happy

>Jenna in the Xmas special
Almost definitely yes.

The REAL question is, is Carol Ann Ford in the Christmas special?

t. republicuck

>Okay I understand what's wrong with being liberal

How? Only a couple people responded, so you didn't get any (you)s. It seemed kind of sad to see a guy post the same word every minute for almost an hour.

t. chuck

I honestly don't know if this is serious or satire.

I liked Forest's attempts at a more magical Who. Twelve works great with children, and the attempted message of "don't completely dismiss children who are mentally ill" is great, but it turns into "don't take your meds", which is a terrible message. Clara becomes even more Doctor-like here, and her "leave us alone" speech to Twelve near the end is delivered wonderfully by Jenna, despite being very weird.

"Forest of the Night" would benefit from a novelization, perhaps by Paul Magrs or Kate Orman--the episode has potential (worldwide catastrophe, environment turns on us, fairies reclaim Earth from humanity) but it's unbaked.

Remember, ignore the bait.

Yay. Clara is always welcome.

Liberal socialists like Steven Moffat have been killing Doctor Who with their degeneracy and this general is partly to blame, supporting all the disgusting PC filth that has been added to it.

Sneed isn't even a funny meme anymore. It's like someone posting "all your base are belong to us" nowadays.

remember, IGNORE THE BAIT

Stop fucking replying to bait. It's a rule of thumb, you don't have to treat this general like children.

...

GUYS GUYS GUYS WE HAVE TO IGNORE THE BAIT

DON'T LOOK AT IT. DON'T THINK ABOUT IT

I REPEAT, DON'T THINK ABOUT IT AT ALL

DO NOT GIVE THESE SPECIFIC BAITERS (YOU)S DON'T GIVE THIS ONE A (YOU) OR THIS ONE OR THIS ONE OR THIS ONE
OR EVEN THIS ONE

dont tell me what to do

It is the same general where a guy decided to post the same word almost every minute for an hour instead of discuss Doctor Who, so treating the general like children is easy to do.

>opinions I don't like are bait
You are like a literal child. Shameful!

there are no children here
only sneeds

Dude, did you go through a bad breakup or something? Because getting this obsessed over a Simpsons meme is unhealthy.

YEAH CHUCK

>The Doctor casually confirming the existence of magic in Battlefield
nice

So when are we getting the story about the Doctor living as Merlin in an alternate Arthurian dimension?

We already got that. But with Colin Morgan.

lame

I don't like that.

seems like you're the chuck to me

Would you have rather they say nanomachines or some other technobabble?

Hypothetically if 11 is involved in TUAT how big would his role be? it would have to be a minor role maybe like a similar scene to his appearance in adventure in space in time.

Just appears before Capaldi as like a hallucination with Clara at his side.
Both just smile as if to say say their proud of 12 for accepting his fate.

Yes.

>tfw starting yet another watchthrough of the new series

hallucination bad. i'd be open to 12 and 1 bumping into him briefly somehow because of the time weirdness, but really he shouldn't be in it at all

I'm sorry you can't enjoy the GOATness

what is the lottery money anyway and why did a security guard hand it to rose and then have her deliver to some guy named wilson who seems to live in the basement of the department store?

wagecucks, please enlighten me

There's a few stories with Merlin Doctor in the Short Trips anthologies. He shows up in Excalibur of Mars, a Benny Summerfield story.

Also, if you go to this link: pseudoscopepublishing.com/mythmakers/myth_makers_retrospective.pdf , and go to page 60, you'll find an unofficial continuation of Battlefield. Pretty good story.

Obviously, a Merlin Doctor story would be perfectly acceptable in Shit Trips 2.5

.I like technobabble too, but confirmation of magic is nice. The books hint that the previous universe before the Whonisverse ran off actual magic rules, so any magic you see in current Whonisverse can be rationalized as bleed-off from that universe. (Another theory is that there used to be magic in the Whonisverse, but Rassilon destroyed all traces of actual magic, with the Sisters of the Flame as a rare exception, along with the occasional witch.

Something like deep breath would be acceptable, not necessarily a phone call message but that type of length

I think someone Rose was working alongside with won the lottery? I don't know why they sent Rose to collect the earnings though.

Don't watch the show, but I notice it gets a new fucking general every hour despite the show not even currently running.
Shouldn't you guys create a forum or something, if the discussion's that hectic?

(you)

the episode Rose is a lot better than I've given it credit for over the years, it must have been pretty exciting watching the show start in 2005. I wish I followed it back then

>Remember, ignore the bait.
How's that bait? It's a real episode, I've seen it.

It's a much better introduction for new viewers, in terms of them understanding what's going on, then the TV movie is.

season 10, powerful

Lads I think I passed the exam that I thought I was gonna fuck up

What's /who/ with you?

Started Part 3 of Dark Eyes 2

Congratulations!

you have your marks already?

Congrats, Kindanon!

Thanks fellas!

Nah the test was just way easier than I was worried it would be

Where in the living fuck do I watch series 10? Google aint helping me.

watchepisodeseries DOT com

Well done! Proud of you!

I'm currently reading Casualties of War, which is a damn sight more interesting than its predecessor, The Burning.

BILLY VAN

Are you a fellow Canadian, user? Or do you just like that show? It's pretty underground.

I'm drawing 13 as Rei

...who's Shinji?

>13 as Rei

YES

Thanks user

I'll get that fresh OC to you yet, /who/

shinji is the protagonist of Neon Genesis Evangelion, a japanaese anime from 1995

Which is better
>End of Evangelion
>Zagreus
>Xavier renegade angel s1 finale

EoE/Zagreus/not seen this

End of Evangelion, c'mon

So what happened to the whole Time Lords removing the magic?

I mean, in Omega they kind of went with the stereotypical "Magic is just unexplained science"

So in a previous thread, someone said there were leaks that referenced a plot based around suffrage in the next season...can someone possibly link me to where these leaks came from?

Is it true that Death Grips will be replacing Gold for Series 11?

here, all the info's in the pic

I mean I've seen some footage, but there's nothing concrete at the moment; seems there's no love for it at the moment.

Nice try.

But seriously are there any leaks? I swore I saw some.

>more clala
No

how does spam taste?

I don't know, I don't eat meat.

It's nice.

people really enjoy it, or it is just a thing for poor people?

I enjoy it in in somewhat thick slices, pan-fried with a little oil until crisp, then served with well-done sunny side up eggs and garlic fried rice, with a cup of coffee to wash it all down.

bit weird that rose's first instinct when meeting cassandra is to walk behind her and check if she has an asshole

as if you wouldn't do the same?

Something that always bothered me is that the animation of her blood pulsing through her skin doesn't loop seamlessly and you can see the animation reset. The animation only lasts about two seconds, so it's very distracting.

Off topic, does anyone have that image of crispy Master saying the thing about resisting bait?

The Day Of The Doctor.

The final scenes of Peter Capaldi regeneration centres around first scenes we saw him in, in The Day Of Doctor where all 13 Doctors are fighting together to save Gallifrey from immediate destruction ...

That would be really convoluted and jarring for most viewers, so yeah that'll probably happen.

I like how straightforward S1's episodes are. lots of things happen but there's still a lot of breathing room where characters can just stand around and talk inbetween the plotpoints

>just stand around and talk inbetween the plotpoints

i miss this alot

Series 10 had a bit of that if I recall

...

>it turns into "don't take your meds"
I think it's less "don't take your meds" and more "don't dump meds on people and then forget about them". It happens all the time these days and it's not really how meds are supposed to work. They're always supposed to form part of a combined therapy instead of being used as a pacifier for the mentally ill.

At least, that's what I think the message was supposed to be. I haven't actually seen the episode since 2014.

reminder

literally who

S9 too, with the whole two-parter format that allowed for more fleshed out stories. God I loved that. Why can't it be the formula for every series? It was truly kino

I really hated it. It meant that a bad story dragged on for two weeks instead of one, and the whole of series 9 was bad stories (except for the obvious).

based Whovians

>the whole of series 9 was bad stories
no

it's better than S8

Hilariously enough, I don't even need to change Rei's hair because it's so similar to 13's. So this process involves inking over the original line art from the film so it's recognizable as a parody, I'm adding the little TARDIS in her hands, and I'll be making all the glowing crosses 'Anonymous' + various trips (they're both green, after all). Everything else is going to be painted on and coloured from this point, so no more inking/line art is needed.

Let me know what I can add to the colouring portion, lads. I'm open to ideas. Added the original still for reference.

imo the two-parter format only worked for the Lake/Flood episodes, because of the GOAT cliffhanger and the story really went beyond in the next episode.

Davros story suffered a bit from being a two parter. Fuck the Me story. I feel that the Zygon stuff could be done in one episode. And while the finale was next-level shit and had a great cliffhanger, Hell Bent was shit so it was mostly for nothing.

is he right
