Only soyboys with finger gloves like Danny Elfman.
>soyboy
Oh no! The new Sup Forums buzzword! How will I ever recover?
Soyboy is the biggest meme in history, meanwhile you just post random fucking images from old sitcoms. Sit down gramps.
I thought this was dril
...
The JL soundtrack was pissing me off. I needed Junkie.
He really douchenozzled me during his interview about JL when the interviewer asked if he'd be using Zimmer's Supes or Batman theme. He said he was using wonder woman's theme and william's theme for superman, alongside 'Batman's Theme'
>But you're not using Zimmer's Batman the-
>"I'm using THE Batman theme. There's only ever been ONE theme for Batman. We'll be using the Batman theme..."
>"Wow this move sucked ass. I wonder who directed it"

Film composer general?
Film composer general.
What happened to Elliot Goldenthal?
He just dropped off the map and never made any big scores for large budget films again.
He made such good shit,

Ennio Morricone is better.
Has he done any interesting music?
>“I just basically make fun of everybody, and I didn’t see anybody as being protected from that,” he added.
>“So even if my politics were left, I still would really mock political correctness and kind of organized left-wing politics as frequently as I would the right.
“To me, all organized, political groups have a sense of absurdity to them. It’s open to be mocked or satirized. If anything, I consider myself part of nothing, and any organized group was fair game to mockery.”
Is he our guy?
not to suck his dick but the Junkie XL Batman theme isn't as good in my opinion.
I only hoped he could have used some of the Zimmer Superman one as well as its great
Elfman's Wonder Woman theme is absolutely fucking shit
youtu.be
>movie score actually has distinctive and catchy melodies and motifs instead of just generic orchestral noise
check out his band prior to doing films full time, Oingo Boingo.
literally /ourguy/
Wonder Woman's original Junkie XL theme is literally the only piece of music I can remember from any of these superhero movies
Hmm, okay. So hum the League's theme for me real quick, I'll wait
Honestly all those pieces are pretty generic. I like Johnny Greenwood

Danny Elfman is a shit composer
too bad justice league was too much for him
Dead Man's Party has such a great bassline
Sleepy Hollow soundtrack was pretty kino desu
When the shitty Justice League movie you scored flops but you make bank
youtube.com
>calls Goldenthall generic
>posts a bunch of Akira Nishimura regurgitations
I love many of Andersons films, but the scores is the least interesting part about his works. Not that I would argue for a more traditional score as I can see that it would not fit the tone of his films (particulary There Will Be Blood)
He used to be good. Justice League is by far the worst super hero soundtrack
>Danny Elfman is a shit composer
why?
Danny Elfman sounds the same in a lot of movies of his, he's not the only one who does it though.
DUDE I F*CKIN LOVE LE BAIT FISH LOLOLOLOL SUCH A TROLL LMAO XDDD!
>shitty Xmas movie
>starring Jeffrey Combs
I'm sold.
because he is speaking in the presence tense.
he was a good composer.
>Jeffry Combs
Well now I'm obligated to watch this.
Yeah, pretty much the only thing I liked about it, worked well
I like his older work but much like mentioned he started sounding very repetitive.
I became a hardcore fan of Basil Poledouris right after watching Conan the Barbarian for the first time, then about six months later he died.
I got an autographed copy of Cherry 2000 by him during a promotion buysoundtrax was doing. Owned it for years before watching the movie out of curiosity. It's pretty bland. Surprisingly, the director went on to direct Miracle Mile.
Listen to some lingo bingo faggot
Forbidden Zone is his best work

Basil's Conan soundtrack is god-tier. I really need to listen to his other stuff. Theology/Civilization is one of those songs I can listen on a loop hours on end and not get bored.

Also The Münchausen Waltz is very memorable. One of my favourite tracks of all time. It immediately makes me think of Munchausen dancing with Venus.

Danny Elfman hasn't done a good score since the 90s
Fucking Christ I did too.
Old and busted, same as John Williams. Exceptionally talented in his day though. He wrote the fucking Simpsons music, come on.
Jonny is radiohead’s secret weapon, good taste
