Boomerang is becoming a streaming service similar to Hulu or Netflix

>Boomerang is becoming a streaming service similar to Hulu or Netflix

Does this mean that the channel will be getting the axe? who knows?

boomerang.com/

>Only $4.99 per month (with 7-day free trial) or $39.99 per year (with 30-day free trial)
That's actually not that bad a deal

I wish more channels did this shit.
Or am I really this unaware about modern tv?

Great idea. Pirating is for degenerates.

press release says the service and channel will coexist

so does this mean Boomerang will become a Toonami channel?

Why does everyone love boomerang so much? I get muh old cartoons, but isn't it boring watching the same reruns over and over?

I'd only pay for it if they used classic boomerang bumpers.

The DC streaming site might be coming out.
I really want YJ to be on Netflix so i hope that's not the case.

>but isn't it boring watching the same reruns over and over?
WHEN I SAY POT YOU SAY KETTLE

POT

Point taken.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what all is available. If its just Hanna Barbera shit, they probably wont see much activity. If they're offering the entire Time Warner animation archival, that would be a much different story.

Also reruns are fun for animation in general, but especially older toons where you get to watch for smaller and more delicate nuances thanks to the closer artist-piece relationship.

I'd definitely have it on as background noise. Plus, I like studying old school limited animation techniques.

Isn't that doing comics too?

I sure hope so. I've been looking into comics for awhile now, but I could never get around to be bothered to read them unlike webcomics. Please let this happen.

I like to watch it with my kids

Father? Is that you?

So no Dexter's Lab or PPG, eh?

Maybe it certainly is wishful thinking

>have it on as background noise
Man I thought I was the only that did this while I do my homework.

>kids
How do you do it, user? My girlfriend's daughter (ex-husband is in jail) is an annoying little shit who backtalks a lot. I don't see how people have patience for kids.

According to leaks, yes it'll do comics, DC TV shows/movies and original content. It'll also have some involvement with Amazon.

Well they're already listing Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and several of the other MGM properties alongside the classic HB content and modern CN stuff(and My Gym Partner's A Monkey for some reason), so I'd reason that it's going to have a fairly extensive lineup even from the beginning
