He should have been Arcade

He should have been Arcade

Why?

Arcade wouldn't fit the film at all

The film wasn't about nods to the comic

And you think that would have been made clear to people by the several scenes in the movie when they look at actual X-men comics and discredit them.

But clearly not. It's like every thread that asks for a reference to the comics is misunderstanding what sort of 'comic book movie' this was.

He should've been Kimura

This.
Rachel Summers should have been in the movie instead of Caliban.

Sup Forums should never write a movie.

That would be retarded.

Isn't he supposed to be the cyborg guy who started out as part of the Hellfire Club in Claremont's run?

Arcade is one of the worst villians in comics though.

>wanted certain villain because he would get killed in the movie
Still bitter about this I see

Yes Donald Pierce. Part of the hellfire club and later the reavers I think

Deathstrike led the Reavers in the comics, but they already used her story in the movies

> Arcade is one of the worst villains in comics though.

Comics exist before Avengers Arena user

>Rachel Summers should have been in the movie

The last thing a Wolverine move needs is an excuse to ruminate on Jean

Yes, and Arcade has been literal cancer in every since one.

It would have made sense to have her hunting down mutants though, and it would have had a much stronger impact on both Logan and Charles when the reavers take her. And it would have been a nice nod to comic fans too.

>and it would have had a much stronger impact on both Logan and Charles when the reavers take her.
Nah, because then you'd have to waste time establishing who she is, and why people should care.

>And you think that would have been made clear to people by the several scenes in the movie when they look at actual X-men comics and discredit them.
And you think people would actually analyze the movie in its full context and not just go full retard with "lol! they made fun of comic book! so cool!". Because in movie's FULL context, Laura and her stupid comic books turned out to be in the right.

They didn't do that with Caliban though, and a simple remark from Charles calling her Jean, or saying how much she reminds him of her mother would have been perfect.

Actually he's been back to normal in the past couple appearances (Gwenpool, Elektra, Hellcat).
