To be honest, i think that they had to fill out a diversity quota and had to have at least one of the characters be black.

Well, there's just one thing though. I don't understand why it had to be Artemis? There's like a ton of other notable Amazons, and yet they pick her to be Artemis? It's just troublesome to me how they took the most popular Amazon(other than Wonder Woman) for her. At least with Perry White, the actor was good enough for it to not be bothersome and the character wasn't popular enough for it to matter for a race change.
