I hate how Bendis turned the Thunderbolts into some shitty Suicide Squad rip-off, and then he has the gall to shit-talk DC. At least Ellis and Parker tried their damnedest to make it work.

Honestly Ellisbolts and Parkerbolts were different but they weren't bad. Ellis kind of did a number on Moonstone but Parker did good work with her.

Leader: Taskmaster
Science Guy: Fixer
Tricky Guy: Kraven
Big Guy: Red She Hulk
Fly Guy: Beetle

Doc Ock (Leader, preferably keep him on the bench so he doesn't lower morale TOO hard and can focus more on directing than fighting.)

M.O.D.O.K. (Tech specialist.)
Satana (Magic specialist.)
Juggernaut/Abomination (Brute force.)
Mimic (Anti-mutant specialist.)
Chameleon (Infiltration.)
Taskmaster (Various combat duties.)

Mach-IX

Ya gotta have some of the classics, and Ghost was my favorite addition from the Parkerbolts.
Taskmaster is a favorite villain of mine, and I think he'd be perfect for the team.
I'd like to see the Lizard on the team, with Connor's mind in control, trying to make up for what he's done, and being the scientist for the team, but also struggling to keep his reptilian form in control.

>the lizard as scientist

i like it.

>morbius as scientist
also great

think of the jokes, people. there's a lot of potential for it to be wild and comedic

A black guy, a jew and beast walk into a bar.

It's an alright team, but I prefer my Thunderbolt teams to be mostly bad guys.

Leader: Black Panther
1. Tigra
2. Black Cat
3. White Tiger
4. Hellcat
5. Shadowcat

3 scientists, 2 batshit insane dudes, and an alien norsehorse

you know you want to read that shit

>A black guy, a jew and beast
>Not a black guy, a jew and a horse

C'mon, it was right there

lol nice

>Songbird team leader with karla there

it won't work user, only time those two work well is either when they have same authority or someone strong enough to keep them from rumbling in jungle.

Though I'd possibly like to see a co-lead situation for hijinks of Karla and melissa undermining eachother in middle of a mission.

"What's next? A vampire?"

>Vampire falls face first onto the floor as deadpool walks in behind him "What?"

they all get thrown out by man-thing because the nexus of all realities rejects their senses of humor

The comedic potential of man-thing is limitless.

OP here. I just started with comics. New hobby.

One character that I find interesting is Joystick. I like the double stick style. Reminds me of Orchid from the Killer Instinct games.

Ans she is hot.

I wonder if Kate Bishop could follow on the footsteps of Barton and lead a T-Bolts team in the future.

Weird hipster nega-Thunderbolts

2. Nighteater (Kevin Trench)

5. Psycho-Man

It was Deadpool telling the joke.

"Wait for the horse. Wait for the horse."

"SCIENCE!"

>Using a shithuman

you're evil

That's why it's so great. Karla would constantly try to screw Melissa over somehow. And despite being kind of a rip off of the Suicide Squad, I loved the Parkerbolts run.

tactician

A Sciencist

poweful individual with fragile mental state

someone who relly his or her figthing style or weapons

token bad guy

>token bad guy
They are all bad guys.

They had juggy and ghost acting as a buffer, and their teams were constantly getting worse outside threats than their own messed up relationship, evil hyperion and crossbones, and a few others kept ladies attention on other threats.

and you know troll being a wildcard, finger eater.

I was going to say isn't every single character on their best teams..thee bad guys?

Initially, I was thinking along more conventional lines ( but with Shocker instead of Mach-Beetle, or New Beetle instead of Moonstone) but then I realized:

Team Leader: Agent Venom, Spaceknight
Brick: The Captain
Sneaky: Spiral
Tank: Detroit Steel
Science: Tinkerer
Girl: Stardust / Lambda-Zero

Tactician: US Agent (more of a team leader) or Silver Sable
Scientist: Starlight / Presence
Powerful individual with fragile mental state: Atlas :P
Someone who relly his or her figthing style: Ana, Kraven's daughter (anti-Troll?)
Token bad guy: Boomerang

John Walker and a former commie or two. hijinks

okay what about

leader: Citadel, A.I.M.

Spiral
Deadpool
Druid (warren ellis wrote a 4 part miniseries for him. the ending is...abrupt) although i don't think he's technically a bad guy
bring back dark beast
Marrow

frequent guest appearance: Attuma so deadpool can make fun of his bunny ears

A.I.M. agents would die as obvious redcoats for hilarity. find Bob from Hydra but he defects again to live

bob from hydra, working for A.I.M. would defect again

Leader: Baron Zemo

2.Abomination
3.Titanium Man
4.Sabretooth
5.Clor

Didn't say he'd like it. And of the two, I put M.O.D.O.K. on tech because he's better at it than Otto, so far as I know.

>Lizard
Perfect choice. I really think a story about Lizard trying to seek redemption would be awesome.

Huh. Agent Venom as leader of the thunderbolts has a lot of potential. I could dig it.
I don't care about the last 3 though, but the Captain would be awesome on the Thunderbolts, and I've always liked Spiral. You should put Taskmaster on the team though, since he and Venom have history.

You have a point. I like the idea of the team having to drag Tinkerer's old ass around while he constantly tries to backstab them, but he's not the sort for improvisation. And Detroit Steel is really only special because of the armor. Let's see...
>Team Leader: Agent Venom, Spaceknight
>Brick: The Captain
>Sneaky: Spiral
Showoff: Taskmaster
Science: MODOK seems kinda too obvious, but I do love the guy
Girl: Danger (constantly rebuffing MODOK's advances)

Almost of the same thing.

Lizard (Scientist)
Rhino (Heavy)
The Spot (Stelth)
The Hood (Magic / Wild Card)
Arcade (engineer)

What happened to the Thunderbolts storytime?

Team Leader: T'Challa.
1. Darkhawk (female)
2. Dire Wrath (male)
3. Avalanche.
4. Moon Knight.
5. Jubilee.
6. D'Ken Junior.
Purpose: to preform strike missions on aliens and come back alive. Problem: it's all those monster-of-the-week aliens from the 50s and 60s with the weird powers and strange names and look like they were modeled on foreign food vendors the writers saw in the park or the subway, with more green or yellow added.
Solution: add more awesome and more crazy. Jubilee gets reunited with the Shi'ar tentacle monster and keeps it. She wears it under her coat. She's taught it to pick locks and pick pockets. Moon Knight is crazier than ever, in a good way. All those alien moons. D'Ken jr is trying to be Gambit (since being D'ken openly is like being space Mad King George on many planets) and is just trying to steal everything in space and is starting to fill his sleeping quarters with empty boxes. Avalanche wants to open distilleries on alien worlds so that everything will 'age properly' by the time he goes back to earth and then goes back into space in a future series. Darkhawk is just there to be muscle. Dire just be creepy. After 200 years of space war, banishment to Limbo, release to find Wraithworld destroyed and Galador ruined, with none of it ending up benefiting anyone, Dire just wants to be a super science maniac. T'Challa is Jack Kirby style and no-one wants to mess with him. T'Challa also has a gun of Black Bolt recordings in case anyone gets out of line. He uses it once to blast a hole in the ship they're to board- destroys it and the skrull moon behind it. T'- "Well they should have surrendered."
J- "You didn't ask them to."
T'- "I meant it as a matter of proper greeting to us."
J- "Now see, that's the sort of thing I'd expect Dr Doom to say."
T'- "No, he would have blown up the ship intentionally."

But we just HAD a He-Man/Thundercats crossover!

I just genuinely love Troll
bring back Thor-Girl while there at it it
Parkerbolts and Slott/Gage/s Academy were some of he most fun I've ever had reading cmics

A good villain team. A bunch of psychotic murderers or insane monsters. I like it.

Honestly, I just want more of Melissa and Karla bickering. Their constant competition to be the alpha female is one of my favorite things in this franchise.

Isn't Gunna great? She's just such a huggable little barbarian.

>Stilt-Man in a team book
I really want to see this

...

>Bendis
What the fuck does Bendis have to do with it?

Bendis wrote a run of Thunderbolts under the title Dark Avengers. It was, at best pedestrian, and managed to piss off a fair number of T-bolts fans by featuring bad characterization, dumb story turns, and being an inferior version of the well regarded Ellis/Parker runs.

How does that equate to him "turning the TBolts into a shitty SS rip off"? It's literally the same thing Ellis did; the only difference was they were public (which makes them even less like Suicide Squad).

spbp

The qualifier here being "shitty". Bolts fans are mostly okay with the SS thing, so long as it's done well. Bendis didn't do it well.

Redskull

Sabretooth
Jigsaw
Dark Beast
Baron Von Strucker

only the plebs are ok with it

But it really didn't effect the Thunderbolts at all. There was still a TBolts run going on at the time, and it's not like the Dark Avengers are some classic Bolts lineup that he ruined.

Really? Cause that seems pointless. I mean, SS comparisons and similar storylines ARE going to happen, so if you want to read a book about a team of villains turned antiheroes, you gotta just deal with that fact.

>I hate how Bendis turned the Thunderbolts into some shitty Suicide Squad rip-off
That was 100% Ellis' fault and Bendis had nothing to do with it.

Read that Future Foundation storytime that was posted a while ago.

Why do I get the feeling Alex and Valeria will get together?

Val, like her mom, will be into older guys. And their kid turns out to be Kang.

That kind of makes me want like a team up adventure where they get stuck working together, and maybe it will finally come out that karla didn't kill melissa's mother.

man I had this weirdly vivid nightmare one time about Bendis deciding the Guardians of the Galaxy were just gonna stay on Earth and become the Thunderbolts

Instead of Zemo, use the Thing.

He was used for a lot of team-ups and has some thing in common with the Bolts.

Former Air Force like MACH, Jewish like Songbird, muscle like Atlas and enjoys a cigars and poker with Fixer.

His relation with Moonstone is the reverse of Invisible Woman.

Zemo and the Thing would be interesting. Which one is uglier? :P

Thing-bolts. Clobbering, like Lightning.

I'd like to see a new Runaways book with Troll on the team. She'd fit in there.

That would be great.

Honestly, I don't think she did it. Not for a second. Think about it, this is Karla we're talking about, there's no benefit to her in this, and it would make more sense for Osborn to send Bullseye to do the deed.

Also, while I enjoyed Ellisbolts, killing off Melissa's mom was pointless forced drama. Seriously, what was the point of that?

I kind of like the idea they would get stranded in another world, you could use Man-thing fascination as jinx that got them stranded, and forced to work together on an alien world. I kind of want them to run into something that they can't seduce or trick their way through, like a world run by purifiers or something. Have it set in a high tech empire that keeps low tech worlds primitive as possible for 'reasons' and they're in fish out of water setting.

It could end with them going on the run or fighting through or figuring out a way to another world, but kind of adventure-storyesque type thing.

So you could do the traditional three act story across a miniseries or something, where they get stuck together, hating eachother and then slowly getting worse where they're actively messing with each other even as they're trying to escape a fucked up place.

I think it would be hilarious with Karla getting stuck in a place full of Space Nuns or something.

Melissa's playing it like she's getting too old for this shit and proceeds to start to kind of blend her style with karla as they're crushing their way into some shiar empire knockoff.

And it all ends with them crashing a spaceship into something like, like a moon or someone's capital building.

I think he more means that there was no real resolution to it and it bugs people that it hasn't been addressed.

That's kind of what I mean too. It popped up for an issue, introduction of mom, death of mom, bam. Plot unresolved and forgotten.
