He is at fault for everything!
>He ruined LucasArts
>He did the prequels
>Indiana Jones Crystal Skull shit
>Closed down the practical effects division of ILM
>Sold Pixar to Steve Jobs who went to sell it to Disney
>Sold Lucasfilm to Disney

>Sold everything to Disney
Fuck no.

Yes he did. And because he didn't let his employees do Adventure games any more they founded Telltale and they are part of why games today are shit.

>apologize for the mistakes I made!
Not going to happen, George.

Never doubted him in the first place, nothing to apologise for.

Anybody ever read the Raiders story conference transcript? It is Lucas, Spielberg and Kasdan just sitting in an office spitballing ideas for Raiders in early 1978. It's amazing what a creative force Lucas was in those days. He fucking dominates the meetings and comes up with almost all of the iconic things that made Indiana Jones great. Spielberg and Kasdan make worthwhile contributions but Lucas was fucking on fire.

is it real?

>Pixar was a division of Lucasfilm
>cost more to buy than Lucasfilm for Disney

Just some sore butt, weak chinned, man baby. He was only good when he had people to rein in his stupid ideas. We all saw the opposite with the prequels which, while memeworthy, are mediocre at best.

Yeah, if you google raiders story conference transcripts there were a lot of stories about it when they were released.

Just wanted to bring it up because Lucas was a force of nature back then. He was an idea machine. It adds a layer to see that creativity from the inside

Fuck off your movies suck

>Darth Icky
No

he was an idea machine but his autism prevented him from writing good dialogue and characters with any depth

That is why he had other creative people around him back then.

Interesting how big his influence is/was, I also once read that a guy from ILM created photoshop!

fuck this is awesome, thanks user.

It's a fun read. Too bad the dude can't seem to get his mojo back for something like Indy 5... as far as i know (and after what went down with Crystal Skull) he's not coming up with the story. But he's rich as fuck, raises tons for charity and is building massive museums so probably shouldn't feel too sorry for the guy. Everybody loses the spark at some point i suppose.

With Disney he has no say in Indy anymore anyway.

For what? Bob Vila is an excellent carpenter.

>The prequels are bad meme again

Prequels are good meme is not any better.

Does anyone have the gif of him writing on the handdrawn storyboard with the artist in the background looking on despondently.

This is cool, thanks for sharing user
