Sup Forums music thread. Bonus points for getting blindsided. The voice actors deliver this with such emotion that it always takes me by surprise. Feels like something right out of Tommy.

I guess Timmy Turner's screechy voice doesn't completely ruin it.
My two favorite Dexter's labs songs

I just wish they were longer.
If unused songs count, Bill Cipher had a scrapped song meant for Weirdmageddon. The song writer uploaded a rough version of it and somebody made an storyboard for it.
>this whole episode
Show me a better Disney song than I2I and I will tell you that you are a liar
Really reminds me of Dr. Horrible's Slipping
youtube.com
>Starting slow
>Villain going up to and taunting helpless people
>Suddenly picks up
Honestly, all of foxxys shit is pretty catchy.
Hey, crashy smashy.

You mean motherfucking Neil Cicierega son
Say what you want about Steven Universe, the music is top tier

Fixed that for you. Nothing good has happened on this show in a long time, including music. This song is great though:

Kowalski's ones are pretty good.

I cant believe i still know every word. I havent seen that since i was a kid.
The spanish version of that song is good too youtube.com
how do you not include this one?
youtube.com
>They got Neil FUCKING Cicierega
>They cut the song
Unbelievable. That guy's a genius. I'd watch a show with his consistent involvement in a heartbeat, whether it was just the music or an entire production under him.
Or this one
youtube.com
I really want to know what the deal is with him. he's made 20 videos that have reached over a million views and yet his channel only has half a million subscribers. He just keeps on finding new ways to draw people in without maintaining a considerably large celebrity for himself. I bet you I know at least a dozen people who love the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny and the potter puppet pals that have no idea that they were made by the same person
Probably because he's from before everything got monetized so most of his stuff was just passion projects with his name in the credits for like 5 seconds.
Probably a combination of the eclectic nature of his output and how little hype he puts behind things. It's just, poof, here's a short film, or, poof, here's a mashup album. He doesn't use his Lemon Demon/Potter Puppet Pals clout to grab attention, he just does stuff. The fact that a lot of his non-musical output is fucking weird; that spot-on parody of mid-late 2000s Youtube song lyric videos freaked me out when I first saw it because it goes from parody to some fucking weird shit really quick.
This guy's scrapped ideas are still by and large fantastic. "Avril" off of that semi-EP of scrapped Mouth Moods ideas and that track "One Weird Tip" he put out this week are two that I've listened to nearly on loop for a while.
Floating With You has stuck with me throughout the years. Especially the final 30 seconds.
The album Tommy or the Rugrats character Tommy?
Wish they kept this in. "Now it's decaf!" really got me.
Man, I love the Gravity Falls theme, but Neil's go at it was so inspired I can't help but be bitter that it was cut:
youtube.com
I feel like the Gravity Falls this would have been the theme song for would be a very different experience than the show we got, so I get why Alex didn't go for it, but god damn it sets a great atmosphere.
His sister also used a very Gravity Falls-y song of his when she was boarding the scrapbook style end credits on the last episode, which I don't know the whole story on, maybe it was written specifically for the credits and he got shafted again or maybe he just wrote it up on a whim and she thought it'd be fun to use as a placeholder:
youtube.com
As far as I know he only got one song in, and it was a dumb gag song about Waddles and Gompers getting married:
youtube.com
Hirsch absolutely squandered having one of the internet age's finest comedic and musical talents on retainer, but I guess that's not the only ball he dropped. I just hope Neil gets a decent break on something big like this in the future.

I AM THE VERY MODEL OF A MODERN MAJOR GENERAL
This one's good, not that long ago.
youtube.com
Well you're right. I had no idea Potter Puppet Pals and Ultimate Showdown were by the same person.
I'm not a big country fan, but this song was too good.
He also made Brodyquest and that Ariel Needs Legs comic.
He did a talk recently, pretty cool if you want to find out more about how he got into his creative fields and what he's made:

Anyone got the Sup Forums Soundtrack links?
also, feel obligated to link this

is that brent spiner?

Speaking of, this better be in the next Sup Forums OST volume.
Honestly, this musical was strong as fuck. I need to revisit it, especially since I remember almost all the words to this one.
Some kindly soul put all the Sup Forums soundtracks on Mediafire, this shit is actually really solid. We should make another.

This song was surprisingly good.
I guess it's kind of emotional when you knew Embers backstory
I just watched Kubo the other day and I've been listening to this on repeat ever since.
Fuck me the shamisen is an underrated instrument.
This shit makes me feel pretty goddamn hard: youtube.com
>Fuck me the shamisen is an underrated instrument.
You're damn right. That reminds of something else Sup Forums-related:

Yoshida Brothers are so fucking good.
Phineas and Ferb has fucking awesome songs
Don't know why you'd need a backstory like that to get the name "Ember" whenever there are already people with that name.
I like this one
Cause it's cooler.
Also I've never met or even heard of any person named "Ember" in my life.
This song makes me wanna read Evangeline: youtube.com

Who remembers this song?
youtube.com
>Neil Cicierega
Look, I love his remixes as much as anyone else and ultimate showdown was fun when I was a kid but his singing is pretty bad and hasn't improved and his compositions are really really simple.
A genius he ain't.
The best thing he ever did was bustin'
>Sup Forums music thread
>no Freakazoid
I understand WHY it was cut.
Neil does a better, more crazy, more menacing Bill in one song than Hirsch did in the whole finale.
Do animated opening count?
Here's one from Mick Jagger for Danny DeVito's timeless black comedy Ruthless People:

And this one comes from SpumCo before John Krisomething decided he was god's gift to animation.
