Nothing. Quantum and Spectre > Casino and Skyfall and I'm not even being contrarian.

Sam mendes. One hit wonder director bought by studio to do more even tho he probably didn’t want to.

>Sony set a release date before having a script
>Mendes and Logan toyed with an awful script for two years
>Everybody panicked and settle for lots of half-baked ideas

Mostly nothing but they tried to add levity after fucking everything up by going serious and Blofield. But that goes back to the whole hard reset with casino Royale being a mistake in the first place.

Also the last 20 mins was them trying to give Q, M & Moneypenny shit to do, just because. The film should've ended at the secret base, NotJaws should've turned up again and then after Bond escaped with the girl it should've ended with the girl being killed again. That's what the whole "bullethole in the glass" promos were referencing.

>BOAAT CHASES ARE HARD AND WHY...
gets me everytime

you're being entirely contrarian

the fact they copy pasted the mission impossible 5 script

The ending to Skyfall ruined it for me.

It would have been 100 times more impactful if Silva killed himself and M with Bond being helpless to save her, just like he was with his parents. Instead the last minute troupe just sent that whole buildup down the drain. Fuck that movie.

But user then silva wouldn't have been able to do that Age of Ultron-tier "oh come on!" look of irritation at Bond after being stabbed.

I do think it was funny that M was doing fine until the script apparently said "M suddenly dies of blood loss"

I should have been cast as James Bond.

too long, too bloated

sub-plot of m16 takeover was boring and entirely unnecessary, also bordering on flanderization/shlock

Plot was stupid and the action scenes made no sense.

2 endings in one film

they keep making james bond movies even though no one wants them

Casting L'ea Seydoux is what went wrong.

I want them. But like the good old days.

>the whole hard reset with casino Royale being a mistake
CR wouldn't work if it wasn't a hard reset.

>too long, too bloated
This. QoS did a lot of things wrong, but at least it was fast-paced.
Do normies really want their action films to be 2.5 hours long?

That time you went for a piss and wiped your dick really good to make sure that you didn't get any pee on your underwear but, alas, you still got a few drops of piss on it?

ME JAMES

>promote Monica Bellucci as 007's love interest and all about how 007 finally have an older women as his love interest instead of young thots
>movie comes out and 007's real love interest is a young thot

Fucking Double Team with Van Damme and Rodman was a better Bond movie than this piece of shit wankfest of a movie.

Christoph Waltz continuing to play the one character he knows how to play: a scheming, intelligent, overly polite guy with a German accent

They didn't get the cuter girl from Blue is the Warmest Color.

Skyfall > Casino Royale > QoS > Spectre

It wasn't strong enough to be a Bond film.
>Ending was lame
>Should've explained more of what Mr. White was up to for the whole series
>Bland performances from Ralph Fiennes and the Sherlock guy
>Rome scenes were way too stretched out

Spectre just doesn't have that magic to it, don't know what else to say.

watching her is the only good part of this movie.

One hit wonder? He did Road to Perdition after American Beauty, more than "one hit".

Inferior french girl.

.

Shitty plot
Waltz
Shitty song, good thing they did not keep this one, the movie did not deserve it.

I would be glad if they cast her in every bond movie to come.

These emails reveal that Hollywood is run by morons and this is why the film went to shit.

>it was me

>muh radiohead are gods that can do no wrong

That song is trash man the sam smith one is infinitely better

I thought it had the best intro what with the hentai and all.

Based commentator.

first half of the movie was actually good
when christoph waltz is revealed the whole shit goes to shit

According to the Sony leaks John Logan

I just listened to that song by Sam Smith again. Very radio-friendly song. It's exactly what a mainstream, inoffensive movie franchise like James Bond needs. No need to take risks with something of substance.

>something of substance

The Radiohead 'Spectre' is literally just Thom whispering a bunch of bullshit that doesn't even make sense in terms of the movie. People would be lost.

They stopped being a Jason Bourne knock-offs

Dubs post truth.

This was the most retarded Bond in its history imo, and very nearly made me want to quit watching future installments of the series. Yeah, sure, there were "worse" entries, but none of them felt so deliberatly weak and contrived and half-assed as Spectre.

Daniel Craig was always shit and the new bond movies were all shit too.

just a very low energy film. whereas when i think of casino royale every set piece was great and high energy.

These people are fucking illiterate.

Le superinteligent geek was a disgrace for w

I actually enjoyed Spectre a lot. Mostly because I really hate Mark Zuckerberg and the bureaucrat dickwad reminded me of him.
